A few days after settling into their new private home and getting enough rest due to the jet lag, Alex and Alexa organized all their stuff. But for the college student, he has to drive up to USC to fill up the admission form and complete registration.

Alexa: all your stuff organized, hubby?

Alex: yeah, all good, but I need to go to USC to fill up their form. They got my records and transcripts from Florida, so I'm set

Alexa: well don't forget hubby, your fame as a WWE star still lingers

Alex: right

Then the two heard their doorbell ring.

Alex: who could that be?

Alexa: our new neighbors

Alex: well I have a little time before I go

The two went to open the door, and to there surprise it was their next door neighbors, Ariana and Dalton. Ari greeted them in her Cat Valentine voice.

Ariana: hi!!

Alexa: hey Ari!

Dalton: we brought you a pie as a welcome gift

Alexa: aww thank you

Alex: it smells good 

Dalton: Alex, looks like you're going somewhere

Alex: yeah, I'm gonna register for USC, so I can continue my education

Dalton: oh I see

Alexa: Ari, we married some smart businessmen

Ariana: we sure did

Alex: well I'm sorry to cut this off guys, but I have to get going

Dalton: well later on, you two can come over for a little housewarming

Alex: that sounds cool, but I don't want a lot of people over

Ariana: huh?

Alexa: Alex is not much of a people person, just like his mentor

Alex: my mentor is also not a people person

Dalton: it's okay, it's just us and Ari's brother Frankie

Ariana: just a small housewarming social gathering

Alex: that's cool

Alexa: hubby, you better go now

Alex: right, see you guys later

Alex got in his car and took the hour and a half drive from Montecito to the University of Southern California (USC). As Alex got out of his car, one of the students of the campus instantly recognized him.

Student: hey, you're Alex Auditore

Alex: yes I am, can I help you?

Student: what are you doing here? And when is your next match?

Alex: I'm just here to continue my education and my next match is never because I'm retired

Student: oh okay, but can my friends take some pictures with you?

Alex: not this time, I have to go register

Student: oh sure, maybe when we see you around in school?

Alex: just don't push yourself, you should already know who my mentor is

The student's eyes widened as he knew who Alex's mentor really is.

Student: oh... right

Alex: now if you excuse me, I need to register

Student: of course, nice meeting you

Alex nodded and as the student walked away, the former WWE star shook his head and rolled his eyes.

Alex: have to deal with a lot of people here

He then proceeded to the admissions office where he went to fill up the form and submitted it along with his necessary documents. Then the registrar gave Alex the list of classes he needed to complete for his Bachelor's degree. Luckily for him, he was on time for registration and the semester was starting in two weeks. He also did not have to worry about the fees due to the financial aid he applied for along with his leftover WWE pay.

Alex was all set and ready for the semester to start and he bought all his books. However, as Alex left the campus, he saw a cameraman from TMZ coming to him.

Alex: oh, son of a-

TMZ: hey Alex, what were you doing in USC?

Alex: I'm just here to- oh you're not gonna know, so just get the hell out of here!

TMZ: why aren't you in the WWE?

Alex: oh you idiots are really behind, aren't you? I AM RETIRED!

Alex covered the camera lens and shoved it and got in his car and drove off. The Pharaoh drove home to his and Alexa's Montecito home.

Alexa: hey babe, how was the registration?

Alex: it went great, until I was ambushed by an idiot from TMZ

Alexa: ugh, I've been there before, Alex

Alex: even Randy, and I'm surprised he didn't RKO that cameraman, I mean would do it if they do bother me

Alexa: well, it's okay, we will relax and enjoy our little housewarming with Ari, Dalton and Frankie

Alex: oh right, and good thing, the semester starts in two weeks

Alexa: great!

Alex: what time are they gonna come over?

Alexa: Ari said dinner time

Alex: okay, I'll cook up something- wait Ariana texted you?

Alexa: uh huh, we gave each other our numbers when you left

Alex: it seems you two are already instant friends

Alexa: oh we are, two celebrity wives married to two handsome businessmen

Alex: hehe true

Alexa: now, let's cook the food for the housewarming, and Ari wants vegan food

Alex: oh Ari is a vegan, not to worry, I'll make some samosas and salads

Alexa: I'll get the chips and dip and order some pizza

Alex: perfect

The new Montecito residents got the food ready and organized on their dining room table. After everything was prepared, Alex and Alexa were cuddling and watching Netflix while they waited for Ari and Dalton. The couple were watching the recently released South Korean thriller drama series, "Squid Game."

Alexa: they turned a game from our childhoods into a game of survival all for money

Alex: those 456 people are in great debt

Alexa: and it's Red Light, Green Light, they die if they move

Alex: yup

As they completed the first episode, they heard their doorbell ring.

Alexa: it's got to be Ari and Dalton

Alex: oh yeah

The two got up and answered the door to greet their neighbors.

Dalton: hey guys

Ariana: hi!

Alexa: welcome guys, come on in

Ariana: thanks, oh this is my half brother, Frankie

Alex: nice to meet you, Frankini

Frankie: oh you seen my appearances on that show?

Alex: yeah, you were a great villain, but the show was not

Frankie: I agree with you on that one, buddy

The five new friends settled and made themselves comfortable and ate the food.

Ariana: these samosas taste delicious

Dalton: so Alex, how was registration at USC?

Alex: well it was great until I was interrupted by a student who wants pictures and some idiot from TMZ

Alexa: Alex was upset

Ariana: well it seems your WWE fame has not faded away, when did you retire exactly?

Alex: just two weeks

Dalton: and not to push, but out of curiosity who was your mentor?

Alexa: got to tell them, babe

Alex: yeah...

Ariana: who is it?

Alex: my mentor is... Randy Orton

Ariana, Frankie and Dalton were shocked to hear the Viper's name spoke from their new neighbor.

Dalton: the Randy Orton?

Alex: yup, mentored by the Legend Killer himself. He knew about my retirement, and he respected my decision

Ariana: no wonder why that TMZ camera spotted you, it's because of your partnership with Randy Orton

Alexa: even Randy wasn't safe from the bothersome TMZ people

Dalton: well the neighborhood here is quiet, and it was an excellent choice for you two to choose Montecito as your new home

Alexa: I prioritize and respect my husband's path, he just wants to finish his education

Alex: exactly, I have an understanding wife

Dalton: so when is the semester starting?

Alex: in two weeks, and I got my classes picked

Ariana: you're all set

Alex: and since I'm still famous, I will expect a lot of students come up to ask me for a picture or autograph

Ariana: you don't really like your fans, don't you?

Alexa: well I'm okay, just unless they don't bother me at the airport

Alex: I'm only okay with the fans during any live shows. They just have to get used to the fact that I'm retired and becoming a normal person like everyone else

Dalton: wow okay

Ariana: Alex, it's a good thing Alexa told you I was a vegan because this veggie samosa is good

Alex: glad you like it, Ari

The five friends continued to eat and chat before Ari, Dalton and Frankie called it a night.

Dalton: thanks for having us, guys

Ariana: hey Alexa, do you have any shows?

Alexa: only every Monday, why?

Ariana: well tomorrow, do you want to do some shopping with me?

Alexa: oh I love to. Yes please

Ariana: girls' day out tomorrow

Alexa: babe, can I?

Alex: of course wifey, this is a perfect opportunity to get to know each other more

Dalton: Alex, do you want to come to the place where I work? I can show you the accounting department, since that is your calling card

Alex: oh sure, that will be nice, and I want to see how the business goes

Dalton: well the place I work is perfect for you

Ariana: we'll see you tomorrow guys

Dalton: have a good night

Alex: good night!

Ari, Frankie and Dalton went home as Alex and Alexa locked up for the night went to their big bedroom and got in the bed to cuddle.

Alex: not even a month, we already made great friends

Alexa: and they're great neighbors

Alex: oh yeah

Alexa: I wonder what Ari and I will buy

Alex: I trust that you can keep a budget?

Alexa: don't worry babe, I won't max out my credit card

Alex: just checking

Alexa giggled.

Alexa: oh you

The two smiled at each other and kissed before they went to sleep for the night.
