The sky turned had a red and orange hue. The clouds gathered together, blocking the sun and making the beautiful sky look dully red.

She sat on the rooftop of Class E in the under the evening sky, her fingernails sinked into her skin as she clenched her fist harder and harder. Staring at her phone on her lap, the lump in her throat got bigger and bigger, clogging up her windpipe.

Isuju felt more afraid of what was approaching her than sad. After everything that Karma had done for her, she disappointed him.

Isuju had already been there since that afternoon when Karma flared up and left her. She hadn't eaten a thing, and hadn't even talked to anyone since then.

Isuju pressed the home button, staring at the wallpaper that she had put ever since last year.

When she and Karma had wore the cat and dog ears the ear before, they took a picture together. Karma had slung his arm around her neck, grinning widely into the camera.

It was a moment she had wanted to cherish forever.

Isuju then reflected on their relationship now. Everything they had was already down in the sewers, after she had even had the thought about going back to Class A.

"We need to talk," an arm appeared on the roof, startling her as it pushed the body up. Next to her, sat the boy who she loved so much.

The duo kept quiet as the time passed. Karma had obviously cooled down from that afternoon. He sat beside her in silence, wanting to speak but the words couldn't seem to come out.

"Why?" He finally forced out the words stuck in his throat," after all the shit that you went through, why would you still want go back again?"

His voice was no longer hostile like it was that afternoon. He was yelling profanities and venting his anger while leaving the campus.

Isuju kept quiet before answering," the day when Asano came to Class E, he had wanted me to-"

"Asano again?" Karma gritted his teeth as  he spoke," it's always Asano. He humiliated you, you didn't leave him, he spoke badly of you, you didn't leave him, he told you to go back to Class A, and you're going back."

"He said he needed help," Isuju mumbled.

Karma breathed out, his voice seething with anger as he mocked her voice," help."

"Is it wrong to help a friend?"

Karma had wanted to laugh, at the same time burst out with anger," yes, I forgot, you guys are friends."

"I don't understand it myself," Isuju said silently," I know how he had treated me, but still, I-I-"

"-I am really pissed right now," Karma leaned back and laid on the roof as he hammered the roof continuously with his hand.

Isuju took off her spectacles and placed the base of her palm on her eyes. There weren't any tears falling out, at least not yet. She gripped her hair in the process, wanting to vent her frustration she felt but she would go bald if she did.

"I love you," he muttered with a red tint in his cheeks," but it doesn't look like you feel the same way."

Did she feel the same way? Isuju asked herself. She did, she really did. She felt her cheeks heating up whenever she was around him, she felt her skin tingling whenever he touched her, and she felt happy whenever they were together.

The sun went down soon after, leaving the sky covered in clouds, not a single star could be seen. Everything was so dull and cold, the sky even matched the mood.

"Yes I do feel the same way," Isuju said, only to be replied with a question she never saw coming.

"What about Asano?"

Isuju stoned at him mentioning Asano. She was sure, her heart didn't beat for Asano as fast as it did for Karma, but it still was beating.

"He's a friend," Isuju muttered.

Karma brushed his hair back, to him, she sounded unsure, hesitating before she answered him. That was when he said something that made her hold her breath, something that made the lump in her throat bigger.

"Can we stay as friends?" Karma questioned, immediately noticing that her body stiffened.

"It's just for you to sort out your feelings for me and Asano," Karma said, not caring the state she was in," even if you go to Class A, even if you are going to date Asano." He paused, as if building up the suspense.

"I will definitely win you back," Karma said, his words heavy and sincere.

But it didn't calm her down one bit. She wanted to stay by his side like she did before, her days with Karma and Class E was one of the best she had ever experienced.

The fact that the boy she had enjoyed her time with was going to friend-zone her, hurt her. However, she knew she needed time to sort out her feelings, and she hated it.

The tears started streaming down her cheeks as she grit her teeth, her hand covered her swollen eyes as she sniffed. It trickled down one after another as she breathed heavily.

"Yea, friends."

Isuju

Isuju had her eyes open the whole time while walking home. She didn't blink, but the tears kept accumulating till they dropped from her eyes.

She tried not to think about it, but the tears just kept coming every time she thought of Karma even for a split second.

The air was biting her skin, she literally couldn't feel her hands as she hung them by the side of her body. Everything felt cold, she thought as her chest tightened and an extra weight dropped on her shoulders.

She lowered her head as she took small steps back home, following her instinct and not her eyes.

Isuju then felt someone walking in the opposite direction hit into her arm. Thinking that she was the one who bumped into the person, she muttered an apology before continuing her journey home.

"Stop right there," the boy grabbed her wrist to prevent her from leaving, as she had probably not heard his voice anyway as she was caught up about her thoughts.

It was a voice and the warmth who belonged to a person she didn't really want to hear from right now. He was, after all, the partly reason why she was crying her way back home.

"Did Akabane do this to you?" Asano questioned as he turned her around to make her face him. He didn't know that he had just made it worse for her, until she started taking deep breaths and her tears starting coming down uncontrollably.

He pulled her head towards his shoulder, trying to comfort her as much as possible. He didn't know what to do for once. After all, almost all guys did not know how to deal with a crying female.

"If I told you I wasn't crying," Isuju muttered, her forehead still on the right of his chest," if I told you my eyeballs were sweating, what would you say?"

"Yea right," Asano snorted," and when it rains, god is crying."

"No," Isuju raised her head from his shoulder and looked at him with her swollen eyes," when it rains, god is peeing."

Asano's mouth curved up into a grin as he moved his hand from her wrist, down to her hand. He held on to it tightly as he dragged her in another direction.

"We're going somewhere," he gave her a small reassuring smile. Isuju looked at his wide back, and his long arms and fingers that wrapped around her own, pulling her with not much force.

And she felt a sense of Déjà vu.

---

Déjà vu means to have already experienced the present situation.

And the reason why she felt a sense of déjà vu is in Chapter 9 if im not wrong. Welp you guys probably dont rmb so nvr mind.
