At Grand Kai's Mansion, we see our beloved, naive, pure-hearted warrior, Son Goku, training with a member of the West Galaxy, Pikkon. Both faced each other in the Other World Tournament and after accidentally cheating, Grand Kai let them be trained at the same time.

Goku has been dead for 7 years after sacrificing his life to not let Cell destroy Earth. However, it was in vain as Cell came back, stronger, but with his help and the others, Gohan defeated Cell, making sure he had no cells to regenerate.

Soon, as they finished training, Goku was seen walking, but then he saw King Kai, who also, died when Goku brought Cell to his planet, along with Bubbles and Gregory, running towards him with a serious face.

King Kai: Goku, I have some news from you about Earth.

Goku: What's wrong, King Kai?

King Kai: Has anyone told you that you have another older brother?

Goku thinks about and remembers Raditz, talking about him when he arrived and why he didn't go with him to find him. Then, he would hear Vegeta talking badly about this brother, how he's stubborn and rude, and that he and this... Daikon, are so much alike.

Goku: Well... I know mostly from Raditz and Vegeta. However, I never seen or met him in person. If I remember correctly, his name is Daikon.

King Kai: Well, yes. His name is Daikon. And what Vegeta and Raditz said about him is right. Daikon regularly trains to become stronger, even on planets after they're done with them when they have harsh conditions. He mostly doesn't talk about it, knowing they'll try to stop him.

Goku: Wow. So he doesn't care what they think of him?

King Kai: No. He hated Raditz for embracing the fact he was born low class. He felt it was an insult to your father.

Goku: My father? Why?

King Kai: Raditz doesn't know it, but Daikon is closer to your parents than either of you. You were just a baby back then. But your father, Bardock, was one the strongest Saiyans in Planet Vegeta.

Goku: Really? That's so cool! How strong was he?!

King Kai was a bit weirded out by how Goku wanted to know about his father.

King Kai: Uh... *clears his throat? If I remember, then he was just as strong as you after you trained with me, if you had Kaioken.

Goku: Wow! So, Daikon wanted to be stronger, just like our dad?!

King Kai: Honestly, he felt it should be a good way to remember him. Bardock doesn't let his low-class status stop him.

Goku: Okay... so what is all that have to do with my brother?

King Kai: Well... He's on Earth right now, alive and well. It's surprising as he was presumed dead, until... well, he became even stronger now. To the top, he evens with Gohan at the moment. *the turns and sees Goku Frozen after hearing the news.* Uh, Goku-

Goku: Where is he?

Goku's voice was monotone, but King Kai could still sense the concern he was trying to hide behind his stone features.

King Kai: Before you start wondering, I need to tell you something-

Goku: Where is he?

King Kai *sighed* He's with Gohan right now. Along with your family.

Goku took a deep breath and closed his eyes, not wanting to overreact to something uncalled for. If he was with Gohan, whatever that meant, his son defeated a monster at the tender age of eleven that was much more powerful than any of those Saiyans from Planet Vegeta. Daikon should be no concern. Though, hearing he's even with Gohan right now is a bit troubling. But he knew his son could handle him.

Reopening his eyes, they settled on King Kai and the mentor relaxed when he saw the usual kindness in Goku's orbs.

Goku: Then there's nothing to worry about, right?

King Kai: That's what I was trying to tell you! As much as the fact that a previous murderer has found his way to your family, his heart is starting to change because of them, too.

The messy-haired one suddenly burst out in laughter, causing King Kai to glare.

Goku: Then why the heck did you scare me like that!? Looking all scared and everything!

King Kai: Goku, that-s- STOP LAUGHING! ... There, that's better. As I was saying, although his heart is starting to beat, there is still some evil residing in it just like our dear friend Vegeta. Although we both know Vegeta is pretty much tamed by Bulma, Daikon doesn't feel much love for your family and could easily give in to his dark side.

Goku nodded, understanding fully what King Kai meant. A sudden image of Piccolo and Gohan appeared in his mind.

Goku: Yeah. But you don't know what they're capable of.

The two were silent for a while, enjoying the feeling of the gentle breeze as it touched their skin. Then, King Kai finally remembered the other reason he wanted to talk to Goku, and a giant grin crossed his tiny features. Goku looked down at him, equally happy and excited to hear what his old mentor had to say.

King Kai: Baba came by the other day. She said after all that you've done, you're granted a free one-day pass to visit Earth!

The trademark wild-eyed look Goku always had as a child gleamed in his eyes as he began to jump up and down in joy.

Goku: Alright! Just in time, too! *froze mid-air, staring with gratefulness at King Kai.* Do you think you could help me speak to Gohan later so I can tell him the good news?

King Kai nodded, but although there was a smile on his face, Goku could sense his pensiveness. With his grin widening, Goku called up from his high distance.

Goku: Hey King Kai!

King Kai: Yeah?!

Goku: Have you ever tried to eat a clock? It's very time-consuming!

The teal man doubled over in laughter, turning bright red in the face as he was unable to control himself. Goku just winked down at his now happy mentor and flew off to spar with Pikkon.

*back on Earth*

Daikon is seen resting outside against the tree. He's waiting for Gohan to finish school so they can go see Vegeta. Granted, he can sense him, but he wants to humor the runt, so he'll wait.

Soon, Goten arrives as he sits next to his uncle. Daikon opened one eye, before sighing and rolling it.

Daikon: What, little runt?

Goten: You promised me you would tell me your adventures earlier.

Daikon: I did not. I said it to get you off my back.

Goten: *cheeky smile* Did it work?

Daikon: ...No. *sighs* Fine.

Goten: Cool! Gohan told me stories about our dad, especially Mom!

Daikon: And your favorite?

Goten: How Mom met Dad and how Gohan beat a monster known as Garlic.

Daikon: Garlic.... wait... Garlic Jr?

Goten: Yeah-wait you know?

Daikon: Yes. I killed him and destroyed the Dead Zone. It was a coincidence. He was planning to head to Earth, to kill someone named Kami, but he was in my way, so I destroyed him.

Goten: Wow! That's awesome! Tell me more!

Daikon: Well, most of them involved me killing people, so bear with me.

Goten: Don't worry! I can handle it!

Daikon: Your and my funeral, child. Anyway, I fought a Saiyan that looked like Kakarot, but with Darker Skin and Purple Colored Armor.

Goten: Kakarot? Is that a vegetable or something? Because if it is, I hate Vegetables.

Daikon:

Daikon: Oookayyyyyy.... *clears his throat* I meant "Goku" as Kakarot is his Saiyan Name.

Goten: Ooooh.

Daikon: Anyway, the Saiyan, named Turles, was using a planet to grow a giant, parasitic planet called "the Tree of Might." With it, it grows fruit from the planet that could enhance the power of someone who eats it.

Goten: Woah. Sounds scary.

Daikon: Yes. I fought his team, then struggled to fight him, as he ate the fruit. However, I took one and used it to kill him and destroy the Tree of Might.

Goten: Wow! So you saved the planet?

Daikon: Eh... yeeeeeeesss.

Goten: Why did you say it like that?

Daikon: Don't know. Anyway, I later found a planet that is deemed uninhabitable due to the pressure and weather there. I used it to train to become stronger.

Goten: Really? Don't you need another person to train?

Daikon: Yes, but use Saiyans have a healing factor that also increases our power, making us stronger.

Goten: Oh yeah. Gohan said that.

Daikon: Anyway, around that time, I fought and killed an Evil Namekian and his army. Soon, I heard the news that Frieza was dead, thanks to my brother, so, I decided to destroy and free any Frieza-Occupied Planets, riding the army as much as I could.

Goten: Wow. And how did you become a Super Saiyan?

Daikon: Ah, my dear brat. I was about to get that part. Along the way, I was quite strong, and I took on his brother, Cooler's army. But Cooler had a 5th form and he brutally beat me.

Goten: A 5th form?! But Frieza had 4 forms.

Daikon: Cooler is stronger and older than Frieza. Plus, when we first fought, he was in his 4th form. I was beaten, angry, and unwilling to die. And soon, I became a Super Saiyan.

Goten: Wow! And you bet Cooler!

Daikon: Yes. I sent him flying through space and into a dying star and it explodes, taking him with it to oblivion.

Goten: Cool!

Daikon was having fun talking about his journey with his youngest nephew.

Daikon: *in his mind* Who knew telling stories to a kid would be entertaining?

Goten: Tell me more!

Daikon: Alright, so there was this planet that looked like Earth but was primitive and these giant, grinning, humanoids called Titans roam around, eating and killing people.

Goten: Oh dear. Have you been eaten, Uncle?

Daikon: Yes, but here's the thing. Some of these Titans are people that transform into them so I tend to allow myself to be eaten, so I go inside and kill these Titan Shifters as their defenseless.

Goten: Woah! Also, Ew.

Daikon: Trust me, it wasn't fun, but I wanted to be creative.

Goten: So why do these people who turn into titans want to hurt other people?

Daikon: Greed, prejudice, anger, and just hate regular people. Some kind of war, with normies fighting to stay alive while having not as good technology as it is here on Earth.

Goten: So what did you do?

Daikon: Simple... kill the one responsible and kill every Titan around me.

Goten: How?

Daikon: *remembers*

Chi-Chi soon approaches them.

Chi-Chi: Hey, you two. Gohan is going to leave school soon.

Daikon: Good. *stands up* He promised me he would take me to see Vegeta.

Goten: Trunks' dad?

Daikon: Yes, and- *record scratch* Trunks?

Chi-Chi: You didn't know? He even came from the future.

Daikon: I know that, but... Trunks? What kind of a name is that for a Saiyan? I can understand Gohan and Goten, but... that name? And a child of Vegeta.

Chi-Chi: Well it's complicated.

Daikon: He was focused on training while he was being born and then his mother gave him that name?

Chi-Chi: Yep.

Daikon: I see. *in his mind* Well, Vegeta. You certainly haven't changed.

*back at Orange Star High*

Daikon and Goten stood outside of the school as they waited for Gohan.

Goten: So why are you wanting to fight Trunks' dad, Uncle?

Daikon: He and I have history, little runt. Trust me, you don't want to know how deep my hatred for him is.

Goten nodded as they waited for Gohan. He hasn't come out yet, which pisses off Daikon.

Daikon: He's still inside! *brings his hand down to Goten* Come on, kid, let's find that slacker!

Goten grabs it before he realizes something.

Goten: Uncle! This is the first time you've given me your hand!

Daikon: Be quiet!

They entered the building as they looked for Gohan.

Daikon: Alright, boy. I know you can't fly, but I hope you can sense his Ki at least.

Goten: But you can sense his Ki too, right?

Daikon: Yes, but I want to see if you're capable so that as a reward, I tell you more about my adventures.

Goten gasps in delight before nodding. Soon, he looks around, sensing his brother he found him. He points ahead as Daikon looks and frowns, seeing his nephew being interrogated by the nosy pig-tailed bitch.

Daikon: This boy likes to get into trouble, huh? *in his mind* Why do I feel like he got it from Kakarot? And why do I feel that he would do that?

Goten then yells for him, and it gets his attention. Gohan tries to run towards them, but Videl stops him.

Videl: You're not going anywhere. Not until you tell me more about the Golden Fighters.

Daikon growls as he approaches them and grabs his nephew by the shirt and drags him away. Videl tries to stop him, but he pushes her back.

Daikon: We're going to do something important, weakling. It doesn't concern you.

Gohan: *chuckles* B-Bye, Videl. *looks at his uncle* Let's go before she follows us.

Daikon: Yes.

They hurried away.

*later*

Gohan: Here we are! Capsule Corp!

Daikon was confused at this dome-shaped building as they landed on the floor. However, he could sense a big power level from within and knew it was Vegeta. He also sensed another power level, not as strong as Vegeta, but stronger than Goten. That must be Vegeta's son.

Daikon: So you said Vegeta became close to your father's best friend and here is now where he resides and trains?

Gohan: Yep. He's been training for years after what happened with Cell years ago.

Daikon grunts as Goten walks ahead.

Goten: look, it's Trunks.

Daikon looks ahead and sees a kid that has the face of Vegeta, but with blue eyes and... lavender hair?

Daikon: *in his mind* Oh the king must be rolling his grave if he finds out his grandson looks like that.

Trunks: Hey, guys! *he waves but then sees Daikon* Uh, who are you?

Daikon said nothing as Gohan spoke.

Gohan: Uh, where's your dad, Trunks? Daikon wants to see him.

Trunks: Dad? He's training in the gravity room.

Daikon: Gravity room?

Gohan: Well, it's a room where you can change gravity-*gets punched* Ow!

Daikon: I don't need your sass, boy.

Trunks: Woah. He sounds like Dad. Who are you?

Goten: He's our Uncle! Isn't he cool?!

Trunks: Uncle?! I didn't know you had more family from your dad's side.

Gohan: *rubs his face* Yeah, we didn't either. He just came here and hasn't left since.

Daikon: I destroyed my ship.

Gohan: Right. Hey, Trunks, can you take us to Vegeta?

Trunks: Sure. Also, Mr. Daikon. Be careful with my grandma. She tends to be too close to guests.

Daikon raised his brow as he, his nephews, and Trunks walked inside the building.

*later*

As they near the room, they meet up with a woman with blue hair and blue eyes.

Gohan: Hi, Bulma!

Bulma: Nice to see you, Gohan. You too, Goten. And... *sees Daikon* Um... why does he look like your father if he had longer hair and beard?

Gohan: *chuckles* Yeah, this is our Uncle, Daikon.

Bulma: What? Uncle? Huh. I remember Raditz talking about him, but I didn't expect to see him in person.

Gohan: Neither of us.

Daikon: So... you're Vegeta's wife? And my brother's best friend?

Bulma: Yep. Also, his first best friend. We met when he was a kid.

Daikon: I see.

Bulma: So, how's the suit, Gohan? I hope you like it.

Gohan: Yep. I did.

Daikon rolls his eyes.

Bulma: As for yours, uh... Daikon... I expect the classic Saiyan Armor.

Daikon: This is to blend in.

Daikon turns his Gi back into his armor and removes the cloth.

Bulma: I see. Interesting. So what brings you three here?

Gohan: Uncle wants to fight Vegeta.

Bulma: What? Are you crazy? Vegeta could mop the floor with you.

Daikon: Then we'll see about that. Now, can you bring him out here... Bulma?

Bulma: Hmp. Fine. But, be warned.

Bulma walks off and after a while... Daikon finally sees Vegeta for the first time in 14 years. He can sense his incredible power and how he looks different than before.

Vegeta was surprised to see Daikon again after so long. Ever since he left him, Raditz, and Nappa, he felt he would be caught dead by himself without their help. However. after hearing rumors about a Saiyan being seen training and fighting, and now seeing him in person, he figured he managed to be alive after so long.

Daikon and Vegeta stared at each other in silence Daikon soon smirked.

Daikon: I must say, Vegeta. It's been a while.

Vegeta: *smirks back* Well, I figured you'd be dead by now. I guess I was wrong.

Daikon: Hmp. You always looked down on me and Raditz. Always saying how "low-class soldiers are not fit to be standing next to high-class fighters" and now look at me. I spent all this time on my own and became stronger.

Vegeta: Hmp. Oh really? I'm sensing your power, and it's barely higher than your clown of a nephew.

Daikon: Says the overconfident dumbass who lets their villains take advantage and get his ass beaten.

Gohan and Bulma flinched, as they knew it was true. From Frieza to Cell, Vegeta was way too confident. Vegeta growls as he approaches Daikon.

Vegeta: Oh shut up, Daikon. Don't think I remember how you left and never cared about your brothers' fate.

Daikon: That's true. I didn't back then. And I had Raditz and you to thank for making me the uncaring Son of a Bitch I am.

Gohan and Goten frowned at that. They wondered if what he just said was to get under Vegeta's skin, as they felt he did care. Or is beginning to care? Vegeta growls as he looks up at the taller Saiyan.

Vegeta: Oh I see, you're trying to blame me for being a prick-

Daikon: Who's blaming you, Midget?

Vegeta: Overgrown Radish.

Daikon: Spoiled Princess.

Vegeta: Low-Class Clown.

Daikon: High-Class Ass Kisser.

Gohan: Hey, guys. Can we-

Daikon/Vegeta: Stay out of this, boy!

Gohan backs away.

Vegeta: What do you want, Daikon?

Daikon: You... me... a fight.

Vegeta smirks as he nods without a second thought. he was eager for a challenge and wanted to teach Daikon a lesson.

Vegeta: Fine. In the gravity room. I want to make it fear, so no gravity.

Daikon: Fine.

Daikon follows Vegeta as Gohan and Bulma seem worried. He had Goten and Trunks run off to play while he stayed and prepared to see two full-blooded Saiyans fight.
