Previously on Chapter 17

"Don't worry about anything, okay? I'm right here now. I'll keep you safe" he said. I just nod my head. I finally feel a lot calmer now. After the anxiety attack is over, I start to feel tired. So I close my eyes and let myself drift off to sleep.

-Skipping School-

Y/N P.O.V

I open my eyes and realize it's the next morning. I feel a pair of arms wrapped around me from behind. The feeling of the warmth they provided brought a smile to my face. I turn in his arms and stare at his sleeping face.

"Take a picture... it'll last longer" he said, in his morning voice. I blush deep shade of red at his comment. I didn't expect him to catch me staring. I quickly bury my face in his chest as soon as I notice his eyelids flickering, which lets me know that he's opening his eyes. I feel his chest vibrating, which is a sign that he's laughing.

"My cute shy girlfriend~" he said, cooing softly while placing a soft kiss on the side of my head. I hit his chest, because it's still so early in the morning and he's already teasing me. "Awww..." he cooed. I hit his chest lightly, which only makes him laugh even more.

I pull away slightly to look at him with a pout. He bit his lip, still chuckling. "We should probably get ready for school" he said. I let out groan and place my head on his chest again.

"I don't feel like going today..." I muttered. He hums at what I said. "Alright... we'll skip today. Looks like my bad boy reputation is rubbing off on you. My good girl gone bad" he said. I just shake my head at what he said.

"I just don't want to see anyone..." I said, in a hushed voice. His eyes soften at the discomfort look on my face. He nods his head. "Yeah. I understand. We won't go to school today. So, what do you want to do?" He asked. I shake my head, letting him know that I don't know.

"Hmmm... we'll figure something out. For now, let's just cuddle like this" he said. He turn to lay on his back with me on top of him. I nod my head in agreement and place my head on the crook of his neck. He gently rub my back, making me feel more comfortable.

"I love you, Y/N..." he said, softly. I pull away slightly to look at him. "I love you too..." I said, placing a soft kiss on his chin. He tilt his head down and places a soft kiss on my lips. I close my eyes, kissing him back.

I hear the sound of rumbling and let out a giggle between the kiss. I pull away slightly to see an embarrassed Billy. I gently poke his cheek which makes it turn redder.

"Are you hungry, Billy?" I asked. He just nods his head. I pull away from him completely. "I'll cook something for you" I said. I was about to walk away. When Billy grabs my hand. He swiftly pulls me down, making me let out a yelp as I land on top of him again.

"Don't need to cook for me. We'll go out and eat outside" he said. I just hum at what he said. "But people will know that we skipped school" I said. He raise an eyebrow at my comment.

"Yeah... so?" He asked. I blink my eyes at him. Why did I say that to Billy? Of course he wouldn't care. Skipping school is like his daily thing. I shake my head and let out a laugh.

"Right... my bad" I said. He let out a chuckle and nudge his nose against mine. "Hm, alright. We'll eat out then" I said, making him grin happily. I raise an eyebrow at him. He tilt his head slightly at my expression.

"What?" He asked, staring at me in confusion. I gesture at his arms, that are still holding me. "Your arms, Billy. Let go... I need to get ready" I said. He pout at me and holds me tighter.

"Why???" He whined. I roll my eyes at his reaction. "I thought you're hungry... hurry up and let go. So I can get ready" I said. He let out a sigh and pucker his lips to let me know that he wanted a kiss. I roll my eyes and peck his lips softly. I was about to pull away, when he places a hand on the back of my head and kisses me deeply.

"Billy..." I said, in between the kiss. He let out a huff and finally pulls away. He let his arms drop on either side so I can get up. "I'll be quick... don't worry" I said. I turn my body around and head towards the washroom.

"Miss you already!!" He yelled out. I cover my mouth and let out a giggle. I shake my head lightly as I run my hand through my hair. Oh Billy... what am I gonna do with you?

We are now inside Billy's car as he take me for a ride. He have his hand on my lap as he drive one-handed. Usually, I'd be afraid if someone drive like that. But I fully trust Billy with my life.

"What do you want to eat, babe?" He asked. I turn my head to look at him after having watched the building passes by. I think about it for a while, before shrugging my shoulder.

"I don't know..." I said. He turn to look at me briefly before turning to the road again. "I don't think there's any eating place called 'I don't know.' So... anything else?" He said. I roll my eyes at his joke. I lightly hit his hand that is resting on my lap. He let out a chuckle.

"Fine... let's go and eat some f/f" I said. He nods his head at what I said. "Alright... f/f it is" he said. I just smile at him. He gently grab my hand and lift it to his lips, placing a soft kiss on the back of my hand. He let his lips linger on my skin for a while before removing his lips from my skin.

He just keep my hand on his lap, constantly caressing the back of it gently. I just smile at his loving gesture. I love it when he holds my hand so gently. It makes me feel like I'm the only thing in this world that matters to him and it makes me feel so happy and belong.
