Chapter 13

"Hey! Get off Mangle!"
All the kids froze and turned to meet the bold green eyes of a small girl. "I said get off her!"
The kids looked at each other and slowly backed away, their arms raised in surrender.
"Good. Now, scatter!" She yelled, and the kids ran off.
Mangle turned to see small girl with brown hair staring at her with arms crossed.
"Immature children.." She muttered and walked forward. "Hmpth."
"My name is Christina by the way." She said, reaching into her pocket and pulling out a sucker.
"H-Hello, Christi-I-Ina." Mangle responded, smiling. "Ple-eased to meet you!"
Christina smiled back and turned as she heard someone calling her name.
She beckoned a boy, about 17, over.
The teen reached up and closed the curtains. "Managers not here, but we have to be quick." He reached into his toolbox.
"Are you even allowed to do this?" She asked.
He turned around and smirked. "Nope."
"Mangle, this is my brother Curtis. We're gonna fix you up!"

By the time the two had switched her back on it was almost time for closing.
She smiled as she realized the floor was much farther away than it usually was.
Curtis smiled and packed up his things. "Alright, Christina. I better get going. See you later." He waved.
Christina waved back, and he left. She then turned back to Mangle and hugged her. "It won't last forever, but for a while...until morning."
Mangle hugged her back. "T-Thanks, you're a good kid, yknow." She said as she ruffled her hair and stood back up.
Christina giggled a bit and started to leave. "I'll see you tomorrow, Mangle!"
And before she could say anything, the small girl flew through the curtains and ran off.
She perked her ears as she heard mumbling. She poked her head out of the curtains and scanned the area.
The others were still on stage, Marionette couldn't even talk, so who was it?
She stepped out and looked down one of the halls. She saw some brown fur and metal, but couldn't make out what it was.
Does everything have to hide in shadows? She thought, and rolled her eyes. "Hey!" She called.
The thing turned to stare at her with one dull blue eye. The other was pitch black with a white pupil in the center.
The light flickered, and for a moment she got a quick flash of the character. He looked like Toy Freddy, but he was a wayyyy darker shade. He was also taller, and with really broken-down looking.
Just as the figure disappeared, she realized that he looked exactly like the bear sprawled across the floor in the parts and service room.
"Wait!" She yelled, and chased after him.
