Date: September 30, 1987

Shayne's POV

When I woke up this morning, Micheal had moved off of me and laid on a pillow next to mine His curls were framing his face and he was breathing peacefully I smiled and brushed the curls out of his face His eyes fluttered open

Michael: Morning beautiful

Shayne: Good morning handsome How'd you sleep.?

Michael: Amazing, knowing that I was next to you

Shayne:(Blushes) Aw, your so sweet

(I leaned over and kissed him softly. He grabbed my hand and held it.)

Michael: What time is it.?

Shayne:(Looks at clock) Uh, 9:47

Michael: Good We won't be late then

Shayne: Late for what.?

Michael: It's a surprise Now,  go get dressed

Shayne: OK bossy

Michael:(Rolls eyes) Whatever

(I sat up and grabbed my robe off the end of the bed. I slipped it on and stood up, tying it. I walked into the bathroom and turned on the shower. I took off the robe and got in the shower.

40 minutes later, I got out and dried off. I slipped on a white dress with green polka dots and white flats. I dried my hair and put it into a simple ponytail. I walked out of the bathroom and saw Michael sitting on the edge of the bed. )

Shayne: Hey, how do I look.?

(He looked up and I swear, I saw his mouth drop open. He stood up and walked over to me. He's taller than me so he looked down at me.)

Michael:(Whispers) You look absolutely gorgeous

Shayne:(Smiles) Thanks

Michael: You ready.?

Shayne: Yeah

(I grabbed my jacket and purse and we walked out of the room. We walked out of the hotel and got into the waiting escalade. Jerry pulled off.

As we were riding along, I looked out of the window and noticed that it seemed like we were going further into the country. I turned to Michael, who was reading a book.)

Shayne: Mike.?

Michael: Yes.?

Shayne: Where are we going.?

Michael: I told you that it's a surprise

Shayne:(Groans) Fine

(I sat back and laid my head on the window. I sighed and watched the scenery pass. After about 30 minutes, I felt the car pull to a stop. Jerry got out and came and opened my door. I got out and Michael grabbed my hand. )

Michael: Come on

(He pulled me behind into this huge house. We walked through the door, which led to the dining room. A heavy set woman came up to Michael and hugged him tight. He chuckled and hugged back.)

Maggie: It's nice to meet you Mr. Jackson I'm Maggie

Michael:(Smiles) It's nice to meet you too and please, call me Michael This is my girlfriend, Shayne

Maggie: Nice to meet you

Shayne: You too

Maggie: Thank you so much for coming to visit the kids Michael They have been looking forward to this for weeks

Michael: It's the least I could do

Maggie: Well, if you'd follow me

(We followed her out of the dining room and into the kitchen.)

Maggie: Most of them are in the backyard playing

(She led us out of a door at the back of the kitchen. We walked out into the backyard and saw a bunch of kids, running around, playing catch, things like that. Maggie whistled to get everyone's attention.)

Maggie: Look who I found at the door

(The kids started to scream and they all ran over to Michael. He let go of my hand and started to talk to the kids. I smiled and tried to back away so that they could get to him but some walked over to me.)

Kid #1: Are you Michael's girlfriend.?

Shayne: Yes, I am

Kid #2: Does bubbles really live with him.?

Shayne: Yep Ive seen him myself

(They continued to ask me some questions but I looked over to the right and saw a group of kids sitting by themselves. I slipped away from the kids and walked over to them.)

Shayne: Hi guys I'm Shayne What's your names.?

???: I'm Harry

???: I'm Anna

???: I'm Lizzy

???: I'm Edward

Shayne: Nice to meet you guys Can I sit with you.?

(They all nodded and I sat down. I started to get to know them and I found out that they were siblings whose parents abandoned them. I don't see how anyone could leave their children alone. 2 hours later, I was still talking to them outside and I was braiding Lizzy's hair.)

Harry: Do you live at Neverland with Mr. Michael.?

Shayne: Yeah, I do

Edward: Whats it like.?

Shayne: It's amazing He has a huge amusement park, complete with a Ferris wheel and a carousel, all in his backyard

Anna: I wish that we could see it one day

Shayne: Hey, you never know

Lizzy: Ms. Shayne.?

Shayne: Yes.?

Lizzy: Are you in love with Mr.  Michael.?

Shayne: Yeah

Lizzy: What's it like to be in love.?

(I smiled and wrapped my arms around her. )

Shayne: You guys, being in love...... is a wonderful feeling You have someone who understands you and loves you more than you ever thought possible

Anna: Sounds amazing to me

Shayne: It is, it really is And you should aim to find someone who is all that to you and more, OK.?

(They all nodded. All of a sudden, Michael walked over to us.)

Michael: Hey Shayne, we have to get going

Shayne: So soon.?

(He nodded. I sighed and stood up. The kids stood up too and looked at me. I hugged each of them individually.)

Shayne: I'm gonna be calling and checking up on you guys from time to time, alright.?

(They nodded. )

Shayne: See you guys later

Everyone: Bye.! 

(Michael grabbed my hand and we walked out of the house and got in the truck. We rolled down the window and waved goodbye as we drove away.)

Michael: So, did you like your surprise.?

Shayne: It was amazing.! I love kids.!

Michael:(Smiles) Me too Whenever I have off days on tour and I'm not rehearsing, I go and visit hospitals, orphanages, and foster homes

Shayne: I don't see how anyone can just abandon their children like that

Michael: I know Children are so pure and innocent They deserve to be loved

Shayne: Exactly

(We spent the rest of the ride talking about the kids. 45 minutes later, we pulled into the front of the hotel and got out of the car. We walked into our room and collapsed on the couch.)

Shayne: How many more shows do you have until the break.?

Michael: Five and then we pick back up in November, in Australia

Shayne: And after that.?

Michael: About three weeks of shows and then we're on break again until February

Shayne: Gosh That's a lot

Michael:(Shrugs) I guess but I'm used to it

(He wrapped his arms around me and we spent the rest of the day just enjoying each others company.)
