A Moment of Pure Love

"So you are the ones who seek job?"

I nodded. "Yes Ma'am, we desperately need a place to work."

She hummed, moving her eyes judgingly up and down our bodies. She gave me chills, her demeanor was frightening and strict.

"What work can you do?"

"We're up for anything M'lady," Catherine replied.

"You two seem to belong to good households, why would you wander about in search for work?" she enquired.

"W-we're sisters," I stuttered.

"What?" Catherine yelled.

The woman looked at us with suspicion.

"Oh yes indeed!" Catherine said immediately. "Cousins we are, but very close indeed."

"I see," the woman judged. Her clothing was elaborate with silken dress and diamond necklace. Her hair was formed into a frontage, giving her a regal and enhancing her sinister appearance simultaneously.

"We need servants who can help in gardening, laundry and cooking. Will you be able to do that?"

"Yes!" I exclaimed in joy surprising the woman. "I know gardening really well!"

"I can do the laundry," Catherine mentioned.

"I believe both of you can do cooking as well?" she asked further.

I gulped. I had no idea of how cooking was done.

"That I'll manage," Catherine spoke immediately, winking back at me. "Jess may not be a good cook for you."

"Jess?" the woman asked in horror.

"Oh, I mean Jessica!" Catherine immediately corrected. "And I'm Cath."

I sighed in relief. That was a close call!

"Alright, you may work here," she allowed, making us excited. "But remember not to cross your limits, never forget that you're mere servants, understood?"

We nodded, although I felt remorse on the inside. I could've gotten her beheaded at the very instant! But I knew that I had lost that power at my own hands.

The woman turned around and moved back into the house. The two of us followed her behind. Once we entered, she closed the door from the inside and we took a moment to look around.

Obviously it was not as large as the Palace, but certainly large in front of the commoners. It was two storeyed, staircase leading up the second floor. The area from the entrance directly moved further in a short hallway, to which were embedded three rooms, two on the left, one on the right. The walls were pinned with several family frames while the hall ended into the dining area and kitchen.

A small couch lay right next to the entrance, in front of which sat a small round table.

"Come with me," the woman ordered. We followed her towards the first room to the left as she entered.

It was a comfortably large room with a queen sized bed, a wardrobe, a small cabinet and a few candles lit around the room.

"This is my room," the woman announced. "You have nothing to do here, so do not dare to enter."

I rolled my eyes. Why then was she showing her room to us?

"Come along," she said as we exited and entered the room adjacent to it. It was a small and dingy room, dusty and dark as if it had never been cleaned before. However, it comprised of the same furniture as in the room before, except for the candle stands and candles.

"This will be your room," she mentioned to us. "Both of you will stay here."

We nooded. What else could we do?

"The other room out there is meant for storing materials," she explained. "You have no purpose there and neither on the other floor where my sister and the Mayor reside. The kitchen is where you may do the cooking and for laundry, it can be done outside."

We kept nodding at her explanation, not giving a thought upon how funny it might have appeared. Once she was done, she grunted, "You may familiarise yourself today and start working tomorrow. Remember, any trouble and you'll be out!"

With that, she began to leave.

"My lady!" Catherine called out.

"What now?" the woman exhaled.

"What may we call you as?"

"I'm Magnolia Margaret Thompson. But you can call me Lady Margaret."

"Thank you Lady Margaret!" Catherine smiled. Sighing, Margaret turned back and left the room.

"I don't like her," I confessed.

"Neither do I," Catherine said. "But we must deal with her right?"

"True," I sighed. "What about this room now?"

"Must clean it i believe?" Catherine said as I whined. She immediately caught me in her arms and gave a passionate kiss, taking away all my frustration.

"Now are you ready?"

"Yes!" I exclaimed with doe eyes.

It took us a good amount of time, but we transformed the room entirely. The once dull and unappealing place now felt cosy and welcoming.

"My Bird works so well!" Catherine appreciated.

"Thank you!" I bowed sarcastically. Of course the room had been sparkled mainly by me, considering Catherine was not so sound in setting things right. I could call myself an expert...or maybe that was an overstatement?

"So...what should we do now?" I asked.

"What about some romance?" Catherine hugged me tight.

"H-hey, someone will see us!" I tried getting out of her grip.

"Who will? The door is locked from the inside."

I sighed. Catherine would not give in. Allowing myself to get dominated by her, I let her lips wander to my neck and smell it softly.

"You smell of flowers my love," she murmured as she kissed my neck, making me tickle at the very instant.

"Oh? The last time I was around flowers must be three days back in the Palace. I wonder how the odour has remained!" I commented sarcastically.

"That does not concern me," her grip tightened around my waist. "What does is the beauty standing in front of me."

"Can I tell you something?" I whispered into her ear.

"Of couse my dear," she replied.

"There's a rat behind you."

"RAT? AAAAARGHHH!!"

I laughed as Catherine jumped away, screaming in horror. She leapt on the bed and stood on it to protect herself from the non-existing organism.

"Hahahaha!" I laughed, tears dripping down my eyes. "Goodness Catherine, where does your bravery go to when you hear about rats?"

"IT'S NOT FUNNY JESS!" Catherine yelled in anger.

I stopped laughing. "It was just a joke Cat, why are you-"

"MY MOTHER DIED BECAUSE OF A RAT JESS!"

I gulped. What? Her mother died due to a rat? But of all things, she had no mother?

"What?" I asked, my mouth hung open in horror.

She exhaled. Wiping off her sweat, she sat on the bed and refocused on myself.

"My mother, she got diseased due to a rat," Catherine explained. "A rat, we don't know how, appeared in her food. It had posioned it and later on she fell sick. Unfortunately, she could never recover from that sickness and succumbed to her disease."

I gulped. Now, I felt guilty to have come up with such a horrendous joke. Why in the entire world did I think about rats?

"I-I-I'm sorry Cat," I stammered. "I had no idea-"

"It's alright," she sighed.

No, it was not. I approached her on the bed and sat next to her. Giving her an embrace, I showered Cat with kisses till I had erupted a smile back on her face.

"Alright Jess! That's enough!" she laughed. "You're going to suffocate me with so many kisses!"

"Then why don't you suffocate me as well?" I challenged. Heat rose up within us as Catherine hopped on to me, kissing me all over.

"Mmmm...," I hummed as she pulled my tongue with her own. Slowly she made her way down to my neck and sucked my skin. It was equally ticklish and pleasurable. It must have left a spot.

"Don't do that!"' I exclaimed. "Anyone would notice such an external mark!"

"Oh, and what about an internal mark?" she smirked.

I was dumbstruck. Before I could've responded, Catherine flew off our clothes and our time drowned out in our moans and cries of heavenly pleasure.
