Tell Me

- Ericka's POV -

Finally, she thought, the placement of all the decorations have been established, the human menu has been decided, and the invitations have been made and sent out. Perhaps that didn't sound like much, but it had taken longer than anticipated.

Ericka thanked all the zombies and monsters who had helped her that day, then darted out to grab her phone and message Emma. It's already 7:30 in the evening, Ericka gasped, I hope Emma doesn't think I forgot about her. But her heart dropped as she opened her messages.

"Hey, Ericka. I want to thank you for inviting me to stay at Hotel Transylvania with you, but I can't stand living in the same place as Van Helsing. I will never be able to forgive him, and I have come to hate you for doing so. I'm going far away and won't be back. Ever. I'm sorry for writing you like this, but I couldn't have you trying to find me. Just don't. I never want to see you or anyone from Hotel Transylvania ever again."

Agonizing pain pierced Ericka's heart. Wishing she had told her sister the complete truth about her plans with Van Helsing, Ericka sank to the floor in utter and desperate grief. Everything seemed to freeze around her, as she tried to make heads from tails. She leaned against the reception desk, every breath was difficult.

Where did she go? What can I say? How can I make her stay? How can I get my sister back?

Coming to her senses, she wiped the tears from her cheeks and began to type a plea for her sister to return. Peaking around the corner of the desk, she saw the sun setting. Giving the sky a bright blaze.

Where could you be? You spent your whole life looking for me - I will find you and explain everything. Please, please listen to and understand me.

Her fingers moved fast, but she knew her message may be too late. Emma's message has been sent over four hours ago. All too soon, it was nearing 8 o'clock.

"What are you doing, my sweet honey bat?" Dracula crouched down to examine her then her phone, "Is everything alright?"

"No!" She whispered as she fell into his arms, "Emma left. She couldn't stand my grandfather. But-but, it just doesn't make any sense! Just this morning she agreed to do the music for our wedding and reception. We were getting along so well, Drac."

Dracula nodded as he read the message she'd been preparing to send to Emma. If Ericka felt that there was something wrong, she was most likely right.

"Honey bat," he helped her up then motioned towards her phone, "Do you mind letting me read what she wrote you?"

Ericka nodded and handed the phone over to Dracula. Grabbing her hand, he lead her to the seating area nearby. Nervously, she sat as Dracula stood by her side.

"Oh, I didn't know you went out this afternoon," Ericka looked up shocked as he spoke, "did she say anything to you during your tour or over dinner?"

"We-we hadn't had dinner yet," she stood and peered at the phone, "I didn't send that message, Drac."

"I think we have a problem," he passed the phone back to Ericka, "honey bat, quickly send your message. I'm going to run to the park south of Transylvania then check out the city. I'll be back as soon as possible, honey bat."

Before Ericka could say anything, Drac darted out the door. She held her breath then sent her message, knowing what Drac suspected.

Ding-y, ding-dee, ding!

Her eyes darted across the room to see Van Helsing panicking attempting to hide the lit up screen of a cell phone. It took her no time to realize what this meant. Practically flying, Ericka came face-to-face with him within seconds and viciously snatched the phone from him.

"I'm only going to ask you once," her face redder than blood, "where is my sister? What did you do to her?"

The last words hissed through her teeth, as she imagined chucking him off a cliff. She trusted him her entire life. She trusted him almost to the expense of her true love, and she wouldn't make that mistake again. She wouldn't trust him to the cost of her sister's life.

"E-Ericka!" Van Helsing sputtered out, gasping for breath. She watched his face drain, going whiter than snow, "n-not you, too!"

She blinked, unsure of what he was saying until she realized she wasn't towering over him - she was levitating on top of him. Her feet were more than two feet off the ground and her dress flirted out from her, just like Dracula's cape does. Her heart began to race and she felt more powerful now than ever before.

Yet, she had no time to think of this.

"Tell me where she is," she snarled, "tell me what you did and I might spare your life."
