Brooklyn spent the next 20 minutes scrolling through twitter, snapchat and instagram until she got a notification.

She actually jumped off her couch and jumped up and down on the spot excitedly.

Why was Ethan doing this?
Why was he messaging her of all people?

Brooklyn ran into her bedroom and leaped onto her bed. She opened up her twitter eagerly and immediately clicked on to her messages.

A huge smile broke out onto Brooklyn's face as she quickly typed her response and pressed send. She was just so overjoyed that he had replied.

Brooklyn could not stop smiling. What was wrong with her? She kept telling herself to snap out of it but it was obviously not going to work. Her heart leapt every time Ethan was typing.

Ethan didn't reply after she sent that last message so Brooklyn concluded it was time to put her phone down and actually do something.
