first kiss
The crowd jammed to the loud music that bursted through the speaker's.
Me and Jimin walked into the crowd squeezing in btw people as we made our way to the food court. We both stood in the line taking in our surrounding. The school ground looks more lively than ever. We moved with the line eyeing the menu.
Jimin was in front of me as he swinged to the song , occasionally humming the lyrics. I can't help but stare at him as my heart did a flip when he turned towards me still dancing , i melted into his sweet smile .
As Jimin's hand touched his, Yoongi felt a rush of emotions. His heart skipped a beat, and his mind went blank. He couldn't believe that Jimin was touching him, even if it was just a casual brush of hands.
But as he looked into Jimin's concerned eyes, he saw something there that made his heart flutter. It was a spark of connection, a sense of understanding that went beyond words.
Yoongi's anxiety began to fade, replaced by a sense of calm and comfort. He felt like he could be himself around Jimin, like he didn't have to hide his true feelings.
As the performances continued, Yoongi found himself lost in the moment. He was singing along to the songs, laughing and joking with Jimin like they were old friends.
But beneath the surface, he was aware of a deeper connection growing between them. It was like they were two souls, resonating at the same frequency, and it felt amazing.
As the sun began to set, casting a warm glow over the festival grounds, Yoongi realized that he didn't want this day to end. He didn't want to leave Jimin's side, didn't want to go back to his old life without this newfound connection.
"Hey, Jimin?" he said, his voice barely above a whisper.
"Yeah?" Jimin replied, turning to him with a smile.
"I'm really glad I sat with you today," Yoongi said, his heart pounding in his chest.
Jimin's smile faltered for a moment, and he looked at Yoongi with a curious expression. "I'm glad too, Yoongi," he said, his voice low and gentle.
As they sat there, looking into each other's eyes, Yoongi felt like he was drowning in a sea of emotions. He knew that he was taking a risk, that he was exposing himself to the possibility of heartbreak and rejection.
But he couldn't help himself. He was drawn to Jimin like a moth to a flame, and he couldn't resist the heat between them.
Their were no awkwardness but a moment of silence btw them .
The day carried on as they enjoyed the moment.
As the night fell, Jimin suggested they grab some food from the festival stalls. Yoongi agreed, and they walked hand in hand, enjoying the lively atmosphere.
As they waited in line for some street food, yoongi turned to jimin with a mischievous grin. "Hey, want to make a wish?"
Jimin raised an eyebrow. "What kind of wish?"
Yoongi pointed to a nearby lantern stall. "Let's write our wishes on lanterns and release them into the sky."
Jimin's eyes twinkle with excitement, his mind clowded with the memories of past. It had been 13yrs since his last celebration. He celebrated the lanternfestival when he was a little kid , his whole family celebrated this festival together in his hometown Busan. He could picture how his granpa made him the lanterns adorning it with a beautiful painting just for him.
Time passes quickly...their once warm lively house had turned cold ...his grandparents passed away with time he couldn't even say his last goodbye...
Unknowing to Yoongi a wave of emotions swept past jimin.
It sounded romantic, and he couldn't resist the idea of sharing a wish with Jimin.
They bought two lanterns and wrote their wishes on them. Yoongi hesitated, wondering if he should reveal his true feelings to Jimin. But something about the moment felt right, so he wrote down his heart's desire: "To be with Jimin, always."
As they released the lanterns into the sky, Yoongi felt a sense of hope and longing. He watched as the lanterns soared above, their wishes carried away by the wind.
Jimin turned to him, his eyes shining with a soft light. "What did you wish for?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.
Yoongi's heart pounded in his chest. Should he reveal his true feelings? But something about Jimin's gaze made him feel like he could trust him.
"I wished for us to be together," Yoongi said, his voice trembling.
Jimin's expression changed, and for a moment, Yoongi worried he had misread the situation. But then, Jimin's face broke into a radiant smile.
"I made the same wish," Jimin said, his voice filled with emotion.
Yoongi's heart soared as Jimin took his hand, their fingers intertwining like the lanterns in the sky.
As they walked hand in hand, the festival lights twinkling around them, Yoongi felt like he was floating on air. He couldn't believe that Jimin felt the same way, that their wishes had aligned like the stars.
They found a quiet spot away from the crowds, and Jimin turned to Yoongi with a gentle smile. "I'm so glad we met," he said, his voice filled with sincerity.
Yoongi's heart swelled with emotion. "Me too," he replied, his voice barely above a whisper.
Jimin's eyes locked onto his, and Yoongi felt like he was drowning in their depths. He saw a spark of attraction, a glimmer of something more.
Without thinking, Yoongi leaned in, his lips brushing against Jimin's in a soft, gentle kiss. It was like the whole world had come to a standstill, leaving only the two of them, lost in the moment.
Jimin's lips parted, and he deepened the kiss, his arms wrapping around Yoongi's waist. Yoongi felt like he was melting into Jimin's embrace, like their hearts were beating as one.
As they pulled back from the kiss, Yoongi's mind raced with conflicting emotions. He couldn't believe he had kissed Jimin, and a part of him wanted to do it again. But another part, the part that had been hiding his true self for so long, screamed at him to run away.
"I'm sorry," Yoongi said, his voice shaking as he turned to leave.
Jimin caught his arm, confusion etched on his face. "Yoongi, wait! What's wrong?"
Yoongi hesitated, unsure of how to explain the turmoil inside him. "I...I just need to go," he said, pulling away and disappearing into the crowd.
Jimin stood there, bewildered, wondering what had just happened. He thought they had shared a moment, but now Yoongi was gone, leaving him with more questions than answers.

As the days went by, Yoongi avoided Jimin, unable to face his feelings. But he couldn't shake off the memory of their kiss, and the emotions that lingered long after.
Jimin, on the other hand, tried to reach out to Yoongi, but he was met with silence. He didn't understand what had happened, but he knew he couldn't give up on Yoongi yet.
The rollercoaster of emotions had just begun, and their journey was far from over.
