Days turned into weeks, and the tension between Yoongi and Jimin grew thicker than ever. They would cross paths, but Yoongi's eyes would avoid Jimin's, and Jimin's smiles would falter. The rest of the class  noticed the change in their dynamics, but no one dared to intervene.

One evening as they were preparing for a class drama for the upcoming annual festival , Jimin approached Yoongi, who was sitting alone in the dressing room, staring at the wide rangeof clothes on display. "Yoongi, can we talk?" Jimin asked, his voice soft and gentle. The once calm atmosphere has now turned blue and grey.

Yoongi's heart skipped a beat, but he didn't turn around. "What's there to talk about, Jimin?"

"I don't know what happened that night, but I know it meant something. And I can't ignore it anymore," Jimin said, his words barely above a whisper.

Yoongi's eyes closed, and he took a deep breath. He knew he couldn't keep running away from his feelings. Slowly, he turned around, and their eyes met. The air was charged with unspoken emotions, and for a moment, they just looked at each other.

"Let's talk," Yoongi said finally, his voice barely above a whisper.

As they sat down in the quiet dressing room, Jimin poured his heart out to Yoongi. "I know I may have surprised you that night, but I couldn't help how I felt. I've been drawn to you since , the day i met you Yoongi. Your passion, your creativity, your kindness, above all your smile it all captivates me."

Yoongi listened, his expression unreadable. Jimin's words touched his heart, but he was afraid to acknowledge them. He had spent years hiding his true self, and the fear of rejection and judgment still lingered.

"Jimin, I... I don't feel the same way," Yoongi said finally, his voice firm but laced with a hint of sadness.

Jimin's face fell, but he didn't give up. "I know you may not realize it now, but I see the way you look at me, Yoongi. I see the way you care for me. Give me a chance to show you how I feel."

Yoongi's heart ached as he saw the sincerity in Jimin's eyes. He wanted to believe that Jimin's feelings were genuine, but his fear and doubts held him back.

"Jimin, I appreciate your honesty, but I'm not interested. Please, let's just focus on our studies and friendship," Yoongi said, trying to sound convincing.

Jimin's face crumpled, but he nodded. "Okay, Yoongi. I understand. But know that my feelings won't change overnight. I'll be here, waiting, if you ever change your mind."

As Jimin walked away, Yoongi felt a pang of guilt and regret. He knew he had hurt Jimin, but he couldn't bring himself to confront his own emotions. The distance between them grew wider, and the once-strong bond began to fray.

Jimin walked away, trying to hold back his tears. He had poured his heart out to Yoongi, and it hadn't been enough. He felt like he'd been punched in the gut, his breath knocked out of him.

"Why did the rejection hurt me like this, when i barely know him?'

As he reached his wash-room, he slammed the door shut and leaned against it, letting the tears flow. He slid down to the floor, his body shaking with sobs.

"Why can't you see it, Yoongi?" Jimin whispered, his voice cracking. "I love you. I love you so much."

He thought of all the moments they'd shared, the laughter, the little adventures, the quiet moments when it was just them. He thought of how he'd always been there for Yoongi, supporting him, caring for him.

And yet, it wasn't enough.

Jimin's tears fell harder. He felt like he'd lost his best friend, his confidant, his soulmate. He had found a home in yoongi but now its just bricks and cement.

As he cried, he realized that he couldn't keep pretending anymore. He couldn't keep hiding his true feelings, hoping that Yoongi would one day see him in the same way.

With a heavy heart, Jimin knew he had to move on. He had to find a way to heal, to love again. But for now, he just let the tears fall, mourning the loss of what could never be.

Yoongi, oblivious to Jimin's tears, sat in his own dressing room, his heart heavy with guilt and regret. He knew he'd hurt Jimin, but he didn't know how to make it

Yoongi sat in his dressing room, his mind racing with thoughts of Jimin. He couldn't deny it anymore - he had feelings for his fellow mate . But every time he thought about acting on those feelings, fear took over.

What if someone found out? What if the his parents rejected them? What would the society think of  them?

As a closeted teenager, Yoongi had grown up hearing the whispers and snickers of his classmates whenever someone was suspected of being gay. He had learned to hide his true self, to conform to societal expectations.

But now, as he gazed at Jimin's tears in his mind, he felt a pang of regret. He wanted to comfort Jimin, to tell him how he really felt. But the fear held him back.

"What if I'm not enough?" Yoongi thought, his heart heavy with doubt. "What if I'm not worthy of love?"

Just then, a knock on the door broke the silence. One of his friends walked in as he chugged in a can of sprite , with a concerned look on his face.

"Yoongi, Jimin is really upset. He won't come out of the stall. Can you go talk to him? He seemed kinda sad and angry?"

Yoongi hesitated,  He knew the cause of jimin's sadness was him but this was his chance to make things right, to tell Jimin how he felt. But the fear still lingered.

"Okay," Yoongi said finally, taking a deep breath. "I'll go talk to him."

As he walked to wash-room, Yoongi's heart pounded in his chest. What would he say? Would he find the courage to reveal his true feelings?
