Maria P.O.V - Sunset

When we were making our way back to Ramshackle, I heard my phone ringtone

'Looks like I have a message' I looked at my phone and saw a message from Magicam

"Good evening, Miss Maria. I'm reminding you of the taste testing of the food you are planning to sell. My brother and I will come to escort you to Mostro Lounge when you are ready. By the way, this is Jade Leech" After reading the message, Grim hopped on my shoulder

"Something up?" Grim asked

"No, I just got a message from Jade Leech on Magicam" I said and Grim freaked out

"Gah! That guy from the afternoon?! What did he want?!" Grim asked

"Nothing much. He was just reminding to go to Mostro Lounge. I promised Azul-senpai that I'll let him try some of the food that I'll be selling during the Magift Tournament" I said

"Your food is really yummy~" Grim said as he started to drool

"Well, I better start cooking the food and some desserts when we get back to Ramshackle" I said and I started running back to the dorm

Ramshackle Dorm

When we got back, I immediately started making the food and desserts. I caught Grim a few times trying to sneak some of the food, but I promised him that I'll make him some food before I leave. Once he heard that, he happily left the room thinking of the food he'll receive.

After some time, I finished making the food and desserts

'I should really thank Trey for teaching me on how to make so many delicious food and desserts' I thought to myself. I set some food for Grim to the side, and I placed everything else in a basket and messaged Jade-senpai that I'm ready. Not a second later, I heard the doorbell ring

'There's no way that's them' I thought as I carried the basket and went to the door. When I opened the door, I was shocked to see both the twins

"Angelfish! I'm so happy to see you! Hey, can I give you a squeeze?" Floyd-senpai asked with a grin and I flinched from fright

"Floyd, please don't scare her. Remember why we're here" Jade-senpai said and Floyd-senpai pouted "Maria, are you ready?"

"Yes I am. Lead the way" I said and Jade-senpai offered me his hand. I took his hand and he and Floyd-senpai started leading me the way

Hall of Mirrors

When we got to the Hall of Mirrors, Jade-senpai and Floyd -senpai went to the mirror with seashells, corals, and the design of the mirror has two moray eels and octopus tentacles

They soon walked through the mirror and I quickly followed them

Octavinelle Dorm

Once the brightness dimmed down, I was greeted by the most amazing sight

"This is Octavinelle Dorm? This place looks amazing!" I said as I looked at everything in awe

"I'm pleased you liked the dorm. Now, shall we make our way to Mostro Lounge?" Jade-senpai asked as he started to lead me to another building

Mostro Lounge

"Woah. This is Mostro Lounge?" I asked

"Yep!" Floyd-senpai said

"You may take a seat. I'll let Azul know of your arrival. Come along, Floyd" Jade-senpai said as he left and Floyd-senpai pouted as he followed

I was left alone in a booth, while I was waiting, I decided to look at my phone to pass the time. I was on Magicam looking at different photos from different people like Vil-senpai. He posted a lot of pictures and I was in awe from the many likes, comments, and reposts

"Excuse me, I brought you something to drink while you wait" I looked up and saw a Octavinelle student bringing me a cup of tea

"Oh, thank you very much" I said and the Octavinelle student left

I took a sip of my tea

'Very calming. Herbal tea, maybe?' I thought

"Maria, Azul is ready to see you now" Jade-senpai said

"Okay" I said as I stood up and picked up the basket. Jade-senpai was leading me to what looks like the back of the lounge

"Woah" I was in awe

"I am pleased that you like the room" Azul-senpai said

"Hello, Azul-senpai" I greeted him "I brought the food that I want to sell"

"Splendid! I'm looking forward to tasting them" Azul-senpai said as he, Jade-senpai, and Floyd-senpai took a seat on the couch

The first dish I set out was the omelet rice

"This looks really delicious!" Floyd-senpai said as he started eating "Super delicious!"

"I agree. This is delicious" Azul-senpai said as Jade-senpai nodded in agreement, and they finished the omurice

"I also brought onigiri" I placed the plate in front of them

"Ooo! More yummy food!" Floyd-senpai said looking excited

They each grabbed one onigiri, the moment they each took a bite, their eyes widen

"The filling... Is this?" 

"That's Korean BBQ filling" I said to Jade-senpai

"And this one" Floyd-senpai asked as he pointed at his rice ball

"That one is fried shrimp" I said and Floyd-senpai happily eats the onigiri

"What about this one?" Azul-senpai asked

"This one is Hijiki gohan onigiri" I said

"Very good" Azul-senpai said and they finished the onigiri

"The next dish is curry, but I think you all might had enough" I said with a worried look

"No, no. It's alright" Azul-senpai said as he and the twins took a scoop of the curry "This is really good"

"I agree" Jade-senpai said

"Angelfish will make a wonderful wife~" Floyd-senpai said and I felt my cheeks burn red

"Please don't tease me" I said and I set out yummy desserts

"Ooo! Look at the yummy treats!" Floyd-senpai said looking excited

"These are fruit sandwiches, fruit cake rolls, and ice cream strawberry mochi" I said, and Floyd-senpai wasted no time eating the dessert one by one

"Floyd, please slow down and remember to chew your food" Jade-senpai said as he took a bite of the cake roll

"These foods will be a huge hit that I can tell" Azul-senpai said as he ate some of the fruit sandwich

"So, what do you guys think?" I asked

"I can say that the customers will love these foods" Azul-senpai said

"Really!?" I exclaimed excitedly

"Yes. Take it from me as a business man" Azul-senpai said

"I'm excited to taste more of your yummy food on the day of the Magift!" Floyd-senpai said

"Would you like for me to escort you back to your dorm?" Jade-senpai asked

"No, I'll be okay. Thank you for the offer, Jade-senpai" I said as I left the lounge and the dorm

Ramshackle Dorm - Evening

When I got back to the dorm, I let out a cold breath

"It's gotten cold. I should buy some warm clothes for myself and Grim" I said and I noticed someone standing by Ramshackle, a tall male with horns and his uniform is from Diasomnia

"...Hm?" He noticed my presence and turned towards me "Who are you?" He asked

"Um..."

"Well now, this is a surprise. You are a child of man. Do you live here? This building has been abandoned for a long while. I'd been quite fond of this place I could be quietly left alone" He said

"May I know who you are?" I asked and the male looked at me with a surprised look

"Who am... You don't know who I am? Truly?" He asked and I nodded to confirm "Hmm.... Is that so? That is... exceedingly rare. What should I call you?" He asked

"I'm Maria, the new perfect of this dorm" I introduced myself

"Maria? That's unusual name. I'm..." He was about to introduce himself, but stopped "Actually, no I'm not going to tell you. Not knowing is for your own benefit. The moment you hear it, you'll feel frost spread over your skin. For your ignorance, I'll allow you to call me whatever you'd like. Though, you may come to regret that someday..."

'He's... mysterious' I thought to myself

"Hmph... Nevertheless... But if there are people living here means this abandoned building is no longer abandoned. That's too bad. I have to find another abandoned place for my nightly strolls, Well then, I bid you adieu" He was about to leave, but I stopped him

"W-Wait!" I grabbed his arm "You know, you don't have leave fully, if you want, you can come back here any time. I'll even make some tea and snacks next time too" I said and he looked at me with a surprised look

"Are you... inviting?" He asked

"Yeah. I want to know more about you if you don't mind" I said

"Heh. I thank you for the invitation. I'll make sure to come back" He said as he leaves the dorm magically

"I wonder who he is..." I said and I went inside Ramshackle

No One P.OV - Savanaclaw Dorm - Leona's Room

"Leona, good evening. I brought your dinner. And I took care of another job" Ruggie said

"Ahh. Aren't you an efficient one, Ruggie" Leona said

"Well naturally. If it's for you Leona, it's easy" Ruggie said

"Ha, don't flatter me. You're doing this for yourself" Leona said

"...Oh no, Leona. This is for us, y'know. Everyone wants to turn this world on its head. The hyenas in the legend of the King of Beasts followed him because they wanted to improve their lot in life. I'm just doing the same" Ruggie said

"Hmph. Then be discreet while you 'hunt'. Don't leave evidence" Leona said

"Shishishi! Of course. It's hyena policy to never a scrap of their prey behind. By the way, Leona. For the next prey, which dorm and who should we target?" Ruggie asked

"Let me think...How about a wolf that likes to sneak around eavesdropping on others?" Leona said

"Huh?!"

"I know you're there fresh-baby. You might want to find a new hobby with those giant ears of yours" Leona said

Stepping out from around the corner was Jack Howl
