Deuce and I sat down on the grass and Deuce began to tell his story about his past

"All I did in middle school was screw around... I constantly skipped school and spent all my time getting into fights. I disrespected all my teachers, hung around the more sketchy groups, and bleached my hair to death. Even rode on my Magical Wheel all over the place. I was a terrible person that went as far as to use magic to lord over those who couldn't" Deuce said was a sad expression

"That's literally a textbook delinquent! You don't see a ton of those nowadays" Grim said who still looks surprised

"I never would've guessed you used to be like that Deuce" I said

"Then one night... I saw my mom hiding away in tears as she called my grandma. 'Was the way I raised him wrong? Would it have been better if he had both parents?' Even though none of it was her fault. Mom wasn't the problem here, it was me! So, when the carriage came from a school as prestigious as Night Raven College, and I got to see my mom look so happy, I swore I would never make her cry again. This time, I'm going to be a diligent student that my mom can be proud of, and then I go and pull this... Shit!" Deuce said

"But y'know... Does being a good student mean you have to grin and bear everything?" Grim asked

"Huh?" Deuce looked confused

"Those delinquents deserved another ten punches if you ask me! You fought them off before I could though" Grim said with a smirk

"I have to agree with Grim on this one" I said

"Guys..." Deuce looked speechless

"Even honor students get angry too Deuce" I said

"Really? ....Heh heh. May those baby chicks rest in peace" Deuce said as he started to pray

"Ummm... Deuce... I hate to say this but... Those eggs were unfertilized..." I said

"Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!????????? You gotta be kidding!?!?!?!?!?!?" Deuce yelled as he slumped

"I'm sorry..." I apologized as we head back to the kitchen

Kitchen~

"Oh, you're finally back. That sure took a while" Ace said

"I'm sorry for taking too long" I apologized

"Let's finish this up" Trey-senpai said

After a bit of time

"Lastly, we dust the top with powdered sugar..." Trey-senpai said as we added the powdered sugar

"And finished!" Ace and Grim shouted with joy

"Finished..." Deuce said with a depressed tone

'Poor Deuce...' I looked at Deuce with a sadden look on my face

"Did something happen while you were out shopping?" Ace asked

"He's having a mid-life chick crisis" I said and Ace looked at me with a confused look

"For 16 years I believed that and for what...?" Deuce muttered to himself, and I patted his back for comfort

"I gotta say though, baking sweets takes up so much time. I'm exhausted..." Ace said as he took a seat on a nearby chair

"But I had fun, though it was strange" I said

"What do you mean by strange, Maria?" Trey-senpai asked

"I'm not sure... I feel like baking is something I do to pass the time..." I said

"Really? Then that means baking is a hobby of yours" Trey-senpai said

"Could be. I guess I remembered my hobby" I said

"Good work~ Is the tart finished? The decorations are super cute! It's mega Magicammable! Let me take a pic" Cater-senpai took out his phone and took pictures

'Where did he come from?' I wondered

"You! Why did you only come now?" Ace asked looking irritated

"I wanted to come see my cute little underclassmen working hard! Ahaha, you look beat" Cater-senpai said

"Things you aren't used to tire you out quick. And when you're tired, the perfect remedy is something sweet. Go ahead and see for yourself just how delicious Mont Blanc tastes when freshly baked" Trey-senpai said as he passed each of us a tart and of course, I was excited to try something sweet

"Cater, you really did make sure to arrive right on time just to eat the tart!" Ace said

"Don't worry about it! Just think of me as the taste-tester" Cater-senpai said

"Ahhhhh.... It smells so deliciously sweet." Grim sniffed and started drooling "The chestnuts on top are glossy while the cream underneath is so fluffy! Let's eat" Grim said and we started to take a bite of the tart

"Holy crap!" Ace looked

"So good!" Cater-senpai said but his expression said otherwise, it looked like he was forcing a smile

"This is amazing. It tastes just like a store-bought tart" Deuce said

"It's not overly sweet, but still tastes so rich! It's like a garden of chestnuts in my mouth!" Grim said with happiness

"Is that a compliment?" Trey-senpai asked and he looked at me "What do you think of the tart Maria?" The boys looked at me

"The tart tastes amazing, though it feels like I had eaten something like this but sweeter" I said as I closed my eyes trying to remember

"Really? Oh yeah. Hey Trey, do the thing" Cater-senpai said to Trey-senpai

"The thing...? Aah, that" Trey-senpai said as I tilt my head

"That?" Ace and I said at the same time

"Hey guys, what are your favorite foods?" Trey-senpai asked

"Mine's cherry pie and hamburgers" Ace said

"My number one is canned tuna, and cheese omelette and grilled meat and pudding..." Grim was listing his favorite foods

"If I have to pick, omurice I guess" Deuce said

"And mine is grilled lamb with diavlo sauce" Cater-senpai said

"What's your favorite food Maria?" Trey-senpai asked me and strawberries came to mind

"...Strawberries" I said and Trey-senpai looked at me with wide eyes

"Something wrong?" I asked

"Ah, no. It's nothing" Trey-senpai said as he cleared his throat "Alright, here we go... Doodle Suit!"  Trey-senpai said and we saw sparkles

"Hm? What just happened?" Deuce asked

"Now take another bite of the Mont Blanc" Trey-senpai said as we started to take another bite of the tart

"Hm? Hmmmmmm?! This is... Mont Blanc but it tastes like cherry pie!" Ace exclaimed with amazement

"It tastes like canned tuna! Chomp chomp! Ohh, now it's cheese omelette! And grilled chicken, munch, munch and pudding!" Grim looked like he's in heaven

"Isn't it fun? If you did this while having tea with a girl, they'd definitely be impressed. Right Maria-chan?" Cater-senpai asked but I didn't respond which made him and the boys worried

No one's P.O.V~

"O-oi... Maria...?" The boys looked at Maria and they froze when they saw her

'So cute!' The boys thought

Cater took out his phone and took a picture of Maria, the flash snapped out Maria out of her trance

"Oh my... Sorry, guess the strawberry taste put me in a heavenly trance" Maria smiled while blushing from embarrassment which made her even cute to the boys

"Cute!" The boys shouted which made Maria jump

"Well, it's amazing that you can change the flavor Trey-senpai. What kind of magic is it?" Maria said and asked

"To be precise, it's magic overwrites any component. So I can overwrite not just taste, but also things like color and scent. It only lasts for a short time though, so it's more akin to a quick doodle. That's why I named this magic the way I have" Trey explained

"With your Doodle Suit, my dream of all you can eat canned tuna might not be a dream after all." Grim said happily about his dream "It's way better than the magic that mean Riddle uses" Grim said

"Why canned tuna?" Maria asked as she sweatdropped at Grim's idea

"No... My magic is nothing more than child's play when compared to the dorm's leader's. He's on a different level." Trey said while looking at the clock "Anyway! It's getting late, let's head back for now, and we can give him the tart tomorrow. Tomorrow is the Unbirthday Party. Don't be late" Trey said

"Maria, can you let me sleep over again?" Ace asked Maria "It doesn't seem like the cruel third years are gonna let me into the dorm!"

"Oh my. Someone's a little prickly today" Cater teased

"Quit it Ace. Stop bothering Maria for stuff" Deuce said

"Yeah! You gotta pay to stay! Ten cans of tuna!" Grim demanded

"What?! You saying I should sleep outside or something?" Ace said

Maria smacked Grim on the head

"Don't listen to Grim Ace, you're free to come over and sleep over whenever you want" Maria said with a smile

"Thank you, Maria!" Ace wrapped his arms around Maria, while she patted his arm

"Deuce can also stay at your dorm as well to keep an eye on Ace. I'll give you permission as the vice dorm leader" Trey said as Deuce quickly walked to Maria's side

"Trey, aren't you spoiling the new kids a much? I'm jelly. Maria-chan, can I spend the night too?" Cater asked as he walked towards Maria, but Trey grabbed him by the back of his uniform

"Sorry Cater, but you're a no" Trey said

"Aw" Cater complained

"Maria, I'm sorry about forcing these two on you. It'll just be until tomorrow" Trey apologized

"It's alright Trey-senpai, plus it gives me more time on getting to know them more. I'll see you both tomorrow, senpai" Maria said as she waved at them and the small group started leaving

"Tomorrow is the Unbirthday Party, this damn collar is definitely coming off just you watch Riddle" Ace said

Heartslabyul Dorm - Lounge~

When Trey and Cater got back to their dorm

"Trey, Cater! Thank god you're finally back!" A Heartslabyul student said

"What's the matter?" Trey asked

"There were ten residents in violation of Laws of the Queen of Hearts No.256: "One must never drink lemonade with honey after 8pm" They all got their heads offed by Riddle..." The student said in a scared tone

Both Trey and Cater stood there in silence

"I can't live like this anymore! I'm bound by all these rules I don't even know or understand... I want to transfer to another dorm..." The student started to cry

"...Everything's going to be fine. I'll go have a talk with the dorm leader, you should go back to your room" Trey reassured the student and the student started walking to their room

"Sigh... I suppose I should go get some tea ready to try to win favor with the queen" Cater said

"I'm sorry Cater." Trey apologized "Oh yeah, make sure to pick herbal tea instead of black tea. I'm pretty sure rule No. 153 mentions something about evening tea..."

"...Okay, will do" Cater said as he walked to the kitchen to make the tea
