Today was supposed to be a joyous occasion. A festive event. Today was supposed to be the Festive of Peace. A festive where both people of Earthrealm and Outworld celebrate the peace and harmony of the two realms. This was supposed to be a day where it's about two worlds, one family. The portals were opened so the people could go explore the different cultures and stands that were being held in the festive. On this festive day; (Y/n), Meena, and Emerald had entered a small tournament made for teens their age where they show off their skills and abilities. This tournament was made for fun and for everyone to get along with each other.

However, the tournament never happened because something awful happened. There was a disagreement with (Y/n) and Atara. The argument had gotten heated which led to an all-out fight. (Y/n) was winning the fight, but she was then pulled off by her brother, Lijin. Soon everything was in chaos. Lijin and (Y/n) were arguing about Atara, but nothing was settled. Things were said horrible things. One huge argument had led (Y/n) heartbroken. Seeing where her brother's loyalty lies, she ran from Outworld.

Her parents chased after her. (Y/n) dodged the people that were in her away. Sonya, Johnny, Hanzo, Kuai Liang, Meena, and Emerald followed. (Y/n) can't remember much of what happened next when she arrived in Earthrealm. All she remembered was her parents begging her to come back to the palace so they could settle things, but something was stopping them from taking her. When (Y/n) fell and scraped her knee, they heard it. The sound of horses coming towards her. (Y/n)'s eyes widened when she saw it. A black carriage. Out of instinct, (Y/n) pushed Kitana out of the way as the carriage came towards her. The next thing she blacked out before the black carriage could hit her.

"(Y/N)!!!!!!!"

Before they knew it, the carriage was gone and it took (Y/n). Kitana sat there in shock. A carriage took her daughter away. Right in front of her. Liu Kang tried to help his wife stand up, but she collapsed as she cried out.

"NOOO!!!!!! PLEASE, NOOO!!!! BY THE GODS NOOO!!!!! MY DAUGHTER!!!!" Kitana wept. Liu Kang held his wife close. He was so angry at himself. His daughter was right in front of them and now she's gone. He could have done something but everything happened so fast. Everyone around them stood in shock. Meena had tears in her eyes as Emerald just stared at the same spot where her best friend was.

Soon news of what happened to the princess spread like wildfire. Allies from Earthrealm and Outworld were doing everything they could to find (Y/n). What he's heard has put Lijin in shock. He did say some horrible things to his sister, but he never asked for something terrible to happen to her. Lijin was finding Emerald and Meena to ask for more of what happened, but he found them by the balcony. They weren't alone. With them were Bolin, Azura, Onyx, and Skye. Even Aiden and Leo were there too.

Skye is a warrior in training as they planned to be part of the finest warriors in the Outworld and make sure there will be peace. Skye had tan skin, short brown hair, and green eyes. They were 2 inches shorter than Meena. One more thing about them is that they are in a romantic relationship with Meena. Skye was also in shock that (Y/n) was missing, They were close friends and if it wasn't for her, Skye would still be terrified in confessing their feelings towards Meena. (Y/n) has helped them out when finding the right time to ask Meena out and it was all worth it. "I'm worried, Skye. What if something happens to her?" Meena spoke. "Don't worry, my love. Our friend is strong and she will be fine. We must pray to the gods that she is safe." Skye kissed Meena's forehead. She nodded and leaned closer to Skye. Emerald continued to pace in place. "She was right there and the next thing we knew, the carriage came out of nowhere and took her." Emerald continues to repeat her sentence. "Emerald, please stop. You're scaring Azura." Bolin held his younger sister close to him. "I want big sister back." Azura wipes some tears from her eyes. Emerald tried to stop herself from pacing even more, but she continued. Seeing his sister in a state of shock, Onyx held her hand. "Come, Emerald. Let's take a seat." Emerald nodded at her little brother and sat next to him. Leo and Aiden were in shock at everything. Even though they were best friends with Lijin, they were on good terms with (Y/n). They didn't think anything would ever happen to her. "You heard anything?" Leo asked. "Special Forces are still looking for her, but nothing new yet." Aiden explained.

Lijin couldn't do anything right now and he left like he was to blame for his sister's kidnapping. All he had to do was pray to the Elder Gods and hope his sister was okay. Maybe there might be something he could do. When he was walking away, he noticed four of (Y/n)'s loyal animals huddled together in comfort as they were in a state of sadness at hearing (Y/n) kidnapped. Seeing this, Lijin knew that he messed up badly. He needed to give everyone time and hope that there was something he could do to help. To help undo what he's done.
