☕️A Tea Party to blow off steam (Riddle/Yuu)

At the Heartslabyul dorm...

"Huff"

Riddle glanced his eyes from his cup of tea at Yuu as she huffed for what he counted to be the fifteen time. The prefect and the housewarden were studying together on magic alchemy. His eyes stared at her as her face frowned with a hint of confusion of trying to understand the material. He often felt sorry for the prefect because a better way to understand these lessons was to actually do magic. He had seen his classmates even demonstrated their magic to help her have an idea of it.

"Everything all right, Lady Yuu?" He asked her, refusing to sip his tea until he was assured to see her smiling. However, he was met with silence as her blue eyes scanned the page, searching for something. He raised an eyebrow at her lack of response. 'Wow. She is really focused on this material' he thought in his head, deciding best to leave the prefect be.

"Sigh"

That was until he heard her sigh, and his eyes glanced back at her. Yuu leaned her head onto her hand, feeling gloomy and drained from the studying. She needed a break from all this.

Riddle stared at her symphatically. Normally, he would scold any classmates who complained about the studying. But for Yuu, he couldn't help it. He hated seeing her so down. 'Maybe she needs a break. But she can be stubborn and push herself too much at times. Setting his cup for tea down, he pondered on how he could help her. Or at least get her to take a break.

His eyebrows rose at an idea that he think would get her to leave the studying for a while. Just to give her mind a break. With a wave of his magic pen, Yuu suddenly found her magic book floating off the table and set aside next to the housewarden. Glancing her blue eyes at him in confusion, the red hair just smile at her, assuring her something good was coming.

With a few waves of his magic pen, he summoned a kettle with another teacup for Yuu, and a tray of desserts, especially her favorite ones, were set onto the table. The prefect smile in awe, excited to see her favorite desserts like cheesecake and chocolate tiramisu.

She watched the tea kettle pour in a nice hot cup of tea, and a plate with a slice of cake pushed torwards her. "Wow. What's the occasion Riddle? Is it another unbirthday?" She asked him curiously, picking up the cup. "Oh. No occasion. Just rule 256 states that if one is stressed, they must have a tea party to calm the nerves" he explained, trying to give an excuse of hiding his true reason.

Yuu, however, could see that he was lying. He did it for her. She smiled fondly at him. It touched her that he thought of her well-being and wanted to give her a break from the studying. He even picked out her favorite desserts and treats. "Riddle" she said his name to get his attention. His gray eyes turned to her and he wish he could turn away because her blue eyes shined at him with a warm smile on her face that made his face heat up.

"Thank you. Really" she told him, holding her cup out to him. Riddle smiled at her, understanding what she was doing, and brought his cup to hers to tap them. "Of course. As your friend, I have to make sure you don't push yourself too much" he told her, making her chuckle as they enjoyed the tea, the desserts and eachother's company.
