"It just might be", Leona said, you rolled eyes "It's gonna be one you lose", you said as you turned to sit at the closest table. 

As you sat you realized how old the tables really were. They had pieces of wood sticking out jaggedly and when you did wear stockings they would gain a bunch of holes.  

You sat your tray down and folded your skirt so you wouldn't sit on the wooden bench. Leona took a seat next to you and began to pick around in his food to find edible food, as did you. The food was usually good, but if you were late it was the absolute worst. 

That's probably why it was like trying to get through a rave during lunch. Lunch was honestly crazy the number of fights you saw break out on a daily basis was impressive. 

Lives lost and friendships broken, it was chaotic. 

Everyone for themselves was always how lunch began, someone always screamed it.

The games were tomorrow and you weren't necessarily excited. You felt more nervous than anything, imaging all those people staring was nerve-wracking. 

You shifted and moved around as you tried to sleep. Not being able to find a comfortable position you decided to read a book, pulled out a thriller romance from your shelf, and began to read. 

After feeling sleep drag on your eyes you looked at your clock "Fucking shit", you quickly put a bookmark through the pages and pulled your covers up.

Your alarm went off and you were less than happy to be woken up. Coffee, coffee was the answer. 

You put on the comfortable tee and some shorts that the school gave you after cleaning yourself up. The shirt had the Savanaclaw crest on your right shoulder and the black shorts had a yellow stripe going along the side. 

You rushed to the lunch area to get a coffee and a burger. The burgers they had were your favorite, you practically skipped thinking about it.

You got your hands on your food and just after turning a boy came up to you most likely from the Heartslabyul dorm based on his uniform. 

He looked you up and down with a smirk "Hey, you mind trading that burger for a sandwich". 

"Yeah, no, would you trade a burger for a sandwich?", you said looking at him. 

He gritted his teeth at your response "Then let's fight for it", he said. Everyone in the school knew you didn't have any powers. You sighed "Fine, but there are no rules". You agreed and took out his pen. (it looks like a pen)

As he picked it up you grabbed a chair and chucked it at him. It hit his shoulder and he cursed. You flipped an empty table over and ducked behind it, as he shot a spell at you.

You looked around as you heard his footsteps grow faster and closer. You spotted a way out and ran for it. As you ran you heard another spell shot just behind you, missing by a hair. 

The spell hit a table leaving just ash behind after it got hit with whatever he was trying to throw at you. 

You picked up a spatula from the lunch ladies and used it to fling his pen across the room. You hit him over the head "Were you really gonna kill me over a burger?", you said confused. He passed out before answering and you sat down to eat. 

You had made sure to put your food in a safe place during the scuffle, it was untouched and you finished eating before long. 

The boys' friends carried him out, not long after. You were kinda glad someone was taking care of him.

As you checked your watch you realized the time, you had about ten minutes, but there was going to be a crowd, so you made your way out of the cafeteria.
