As the minutes passed you felt his eyes boring into your skull, sweat dripped down your neck nervously. The teacher for today, Mr. Crewel, slapped his whip gently on his thigh pondering what had happened before turning around towards the board once again. "Today we will be learning about how magic has had an affect on society", you wrote notes as he droned on about the topic for the day.

 As soon as you noticed class was about to end you packed your bag quickly making sure to put everything in. As you swung your backpack over your shoulder the bell rang and you speed walked out. You didn't necessarily want to deal with Leona right now. Just thinking about talking to him right now made you want to sigh. 

As you briskly walked down the hall, you heard his loud footsteps slapping against the pavement. Your grip around your books tightened and you held them closer to your chest as you half jogged, half walked to the bathroom that was around the corner. 

You slammed the bathroom door open making the door knob hit the tile wall, making a loud thud penetrate through the quiet bathroom. As you rushed in Leona whispered from right behind you "Now where do you think you're going, missy?". You felt a knot in your throat, you quickly tried to shove it down as you slowly walked into the bathroom, pretending as if you didn't hear him. As you started to walk in he said "Not a step more", in a commanding tone. As soon as the words left his mouth  you bolted into the nearest stall and locked it. 

You heard an annoyed huff come from behind you and before you knew it the bathroom stall had been kicked off its hinges. You let out a small shriek, ducked under Leona, and ran. "You're fast, but not fast enough!", you yelled as you ran down the hall.
