You rocked back and forth on your heels almost falling when becoming unbalanced. Your lip had light cuts scattered around it due to the fact that you had been biting it a bit to harshly. You intertwined and locked your hands behind you as you kept on tottering over from side to side. You couldn't help but be nervous, anxious, and suspicious, Leona and Ruggie had been constitentally disappearing without an explanation as of lately. You would wake up in the middle of the night and he would be gone, you would stay up until he came back. He would slide in next to you and after afew hours of sleeping would say " Man, that was some of the best sleep I've gotten in awhile". You would smile back at him, but tonight you weren't gonna give him the benefit of the doubt. After he had slipped out you decided to wait for him sitting upright. 

As you sat still you began to grow nervous, you paced hoping it would help you but it didn't so you sat back down. The plush bed relieving your hips of the strain you didn't know was there. As you continued to sit hours passed in a matter of seconds it felt. Eventuall, Leona walked back in as he crept you didn't know he was expecting you since you sat in complete darkness. he jumped back alittle in surprise and pressed his hand to his chest " You really scared me there. Why are you up?", he said. "Where did you go?", you said simply. For a split second he was biting his lip, " I went to go get some water", the only word that flashed in your mind was "lie". You stood up and leaned your face close into his "You're lying", you said. You could hear his quiet gulp, as you continued to just stare at him in silence his discomfort grew. He began to wring his hands and he tried his best to not look you in the eye. 

You cocked your eyebrow at him as if saying are you gonna spill? He decided to pretend as if he didn't see. You sighed "Hey if you like someone else tell me. You lying isn't gonna make it easier, but harder for me". Leona's jaw could have hit the floor based on how wide it was opened. He shook his head quickly "No, I would never! What would make you think that?". "You were creeping around in the middle of the night, pretend as if you had been asleep the whole time, and you don't want to tell me why", you said placing both hands on your hips. " I swear I'm not being unfaithful", he said. You nodded your head " I know you're not lying about that, but why would you lie then?", you said more to yourself than him. He pressed his lips into a firm line and you sighed "I'm guessing you're not going to tell me, right?". He nodded his head slowly " I'm doing this to protect you". You sighed again " To protect me? I don't need someone to protect me. This is stupid, I don't need someone to protect me. I'm perfectly capable, just give me a bat and I'll be good", a sour expression you presently showed. Before Leona could utter another word you said "I'm going to bed. Good night". You quickly walked to the bed and pulled the covers over your body. You felt tired and drained, it had been a waste of time to have stayed up. Your tiredness has finally caught up to you.
