Back in the Control room of Styx Institute, Idia, Ortho and other employees are going through the data.

Idia says, "Well, we've got half a day left. The next thing we should do -"

But then, the alarm goes off, startling everyone in the room.

"Hmm?" Idia replies, confused.

A technician rushes to Idia and days, "Acting Director."

"Yes, India Shroud speaking. What's happening?" Idia responds.

"Our facility is under attack by an unknown assailant," The technician says.

"What do you mean, under attack?" Idia questions, confused, "Is the invisible shield down?"

Ortho informs, "The shield is operating as normal. It should be impossible for anyone to see us from the outside."

"Charon Hepta Team is ready to scramble. We have already dispatched a recon drone," The Technician says.

"Got it!" Ortho says, "Connecting to drone's external monitoring systems. I'll put up the feed.

Ortho then connects to the drone's monitoring system, and has it on the projector. There they see the ocean.

Suddenly, Rook appears, "Bonjour, Islanders of Woe! I am a seeker of defender and beauty. They call me Rook Hunt, le Chasseur d'Amour! One of the people you abducted was my boon companion. Now I have come to rescue Vil Schoenheit from mortal peril!"

Jasper rolls his eyes. Epel, and the others cover their mouth as they try not to laugh.

In the Styx Control room, seeing Rook and the others comes as a shock.

Especially Idia, "BWUUUH?! ROOK?! What's he doing here? How'd he even get here?!"

Another technician says, "Hepta Team is in position. Removing assailant now."

But Idia says, "Whoa, hold up!" but calms down, "I mean, I'd love to remove him, but don't REMOVE him. Just, uh, secure him!"

Back outside of the sea, the Charon Troops surface from the water and towards where Rook and the others are.

One of them says, "We've got visual on the assailant. Proceeding with capture."

Seeing then, Epel, Rook, and the others recognize them.

"Look! It's them!" Jasper says.

"You're right. It's the armed guys who took Vil and the others!" Epel says.

"Which means, you were right, Rook. They are here," Sereia says.

Epel smiles, "Yer signature spell's somethin' else!"

But Rook says in a serious tone and explains to the others, "Listen up, all of you. We will go through the motion and fight for a while, then promptly surrender. Remember, our goal is not to win."

"We want them to take us prisoner and bring us inside, right?" Epel asks.

"Oui. We are at a tremendous disadvantage against their troops," Rook says.

"Sounds like the only choice we had," Tanzanite says.

Trinket nods inside.

Then Rook says, "First, I will secure us a battlefield." and with a wave of his magepen, Rook casts his magic to freeze part of the water.

"Wow. You froze the water into an island of ice," Jasper says, impressed.

"That should do. Now, let the curtain rise upon our battle for beaute and I'amour!" Rook says.

With that, Rook, Epel, and the others begin to fight the Styx soldiers. Of course, their plan isn't to win the battle, but to get inside.
