"What are you talking about?" Ruggie asks, confused.

Just then, the students hear footsteps and turn to see Professor Trein.

As he walks towards the students, he says, "I'll field that question."

"Oh, hello Trein. Where's the headmage?" Lilia questions.

"Styx took him into custody as well," Professor Trein answers, "I'm in charge while he's away."

This shocked the students.

"They took the headmage too?" Sereia asks, stunned, clenching on to Briar's necklace.

"Professor Trien, what's going on?" Tanzanite asks.

"Yeah. Who are those guys that break into the school and kidnap Briar and the others?" Jasper questions.

Woah, they took the headmage too?! What is going on here?

Floyd also questions, "Hold up. What's Styx?"

"Styx is an organization that operates independently of any nation or government. It's an arcane institute that conducts research on blot. They've done so for many years," Professor Trien says.

The students become stunned to hear it.

"They study blot...?" Jade questions, shocked.

"So then, that means..." Tanzanite says, stunned.

Then Floyd says, "Tch. I get it now."

"Huh? Get what?" Kalim replies in response.

Jade explains, "Think about who they took."

Cater lists off, "It was Riddle, Leona, Azul, and Jamil. So they abducted Jamil, who's a vice housewarden, and left Kalim alone. But then they didn't take Rook, who's also a vice housewarden."

"That's odd, right?" Trey responds, "If they're not targeting housewardens or vice housewardens, then..."

"Blot research... Jamil..." Kalim thinks, and the realization hits him, "AH! It's people who've overblotted!"

Hearing this, Ruggie asks, shocked, "Wait, does that mean Vil overblotted too?"

Kalim & Rook remain silent, along with Sereia and the others

But Trey says, "But Riddle and the others got proper medical treatment and had a complete recovery. Why would this come up now?"

"And Briar never overblotted before, why go after her?" Sereia asks, worried.

Trinket even agrees in concern.

"Grim didn't went overblot either, but he did ate a lot of blot crystals that caused him to go on a rampage. It's also odd that they went after him as well," Jasper adds.

"Hmm... There is someone who probably knows their reasons," Malleus says.

"Who?" Kalim asks.

"The Watchman of the Island of Woe," Lilia answers.

"The what?" Sereia replies, confused.

"I've seen mention of them here and there in old history books," Rook says.

Then turns to Malleus, "Does that mean you are acquainted with this watchman of the dark and dreadful isle, Roi des Dragons?"

"Really, Hunt, have you become addled? You're acquainted with him as well," Malleus responds.

Rook responds with a confused expression, but soon realizes.

Then Lilia says, "And not just Rook—you all know him."

"Are you suggesting what I think you are...?" Rook asks, shocked.

Meanwhile, in a dark room, Riddle wakes up from unconsciousness with a gasp, "I must have lost consciousness."

Riddle quickly remembers what happens and scowl in anger, "Rgh! Where's the enemy?! I'll have all of their heads!"

And soon bumps into something, and falls over, "I can't move...and it's too dark to see! What's happening?!"

Suddenly, Azul's voice appears, "It's rather cramped in here, so please lie still, Riddle."

"That voice... Is that you, Azul?" Riddle asks, confused.

"It is," Azul answers.

"How long was I out? And where are we?" Riddle asks, confused.

Then Vil speaks up, "I'm afraid none of us know."

"We were shoved into this cramped, stuffy cargo transport three hours ago. There's no way to see outside, so I can't tell how fast we're going, or our direction... But we're definitely far from campus," Jamil explains.

"So they took both you and Vil?" Riddle asks.

"Considering Jamil isn't a housewarden, it would appear we were taken for some other reason. And since Leona's here as well, I should think the answer is rather obvious," Vil says.

"Leona's here too?" Riddle questions.

"Is that anyway to greet the guy who's lap you've been snorin' on for three hours?" Leona speaks up.

"Huh?!" Riddle responds, realizing where he's at, "I was wondering what this muscley pillow was... I'm so sorry! I'll get up right away!" and quickly gets off of Leona.

And bumps into Vil.

"Hold on! Try not to shove me," Vil says.

"Now that everyone's awake, shall we review the situation?" Azul replies.

But Jamil says, "Not all of us."

"What? Then who else is there?" Riddle questions.

Suddenly, they hear a grunt and groan and a familiar girl's voice, "Wha... what happened? Where am I?"

Hearing the voice has Leona, Riddle, and Azul shocked.

"Is that you, Briar?" Azul questions, confused.

"Azul, is that you?" Briar asks, as she sits up.

She looks around, "Why is this place dark? Where are we?"

"I have to assume that you were abducted by them as well?" Leona questions.

"You're here too, Leona?" Briar asks, surprised. Then asks. "Anyone else."

"Yes. Briar. Jamil, Vil, and myself are here as well," Riddle says.

"They caught you too, Riddle?" Briar asks, shocked.

"Yes, I'm afraid so," Riddle says.

"What happened? I remember those strange guys in suits invaded the school and crashed through walls of the Ramshackle dorm," Briar says.

Then gasps in realization, "Wait, where's Grim?"

"Grim?" Azul questions.

"Yes. Those guys in suits took him too. Did you see him?" Briar answers in concern.

"I'm sorry Briar, we don't know where he is. He must have been placed in a different cargo thank us," Riddle says.

"I see," Briar says, sadly. "Still, what in the world is going on? Why did those guys capture us?"

Then Azul reviews on what happened, "For my part, soldiers armed with technomantic gear stormed into my club room and whisked me away. But they seem acquainted with Idia."

"With Idia? The housewarden of Ignihyde Dorm? What does he have to do with it?" Briar asks, confused.

"I don't know what the connection is there, but I got an idea who took us," Leona says, "I've seen 'em a few times over the years at the Sunset Savanna palace. Those guys were members of Charon. They're Styx's muscle. Their job is to nab overblotted mages and ship 'em off to the island of Woe."

This shocked everyone in the room.
