Meanwhile, in the Diasomnia Dorm Lounge, Malleus senses something is amiss.

"...Hm?" Malleus replies, "Something unusual is emanating from the mirror that's linked to the Hall of Mirrors. Is it magic? No. No, this is..."

Suddenly, Malleus hears footsteps and turns to see Sebek and Silver barging in, shouting, "MALLEUS!"

"What's gotten you two in such a panic?" Malleus questions.

Sebek breathes heavily and says, "Thank GOODNESS you're all right."

"Yes, I am quite the same as always. You two, on the other hand, appear to be injured," Malleus says, noticing the pair's wounds.

Silver huff and pants to calm himself.

Then says, "Sire, unknown forces are attacking the school."

Malleus gasps in shock.

Then says in a calm tone, "Give me a full report."

Then Sebek says, "Unidentified soldiers clad in black armor came after Riddle."

"They attacked the stables, but paid no heed to anyone else. We believe he was their sole target. They called him the 'subject' and were attempting to capture him alive," Silver explains.

"And what became of Rosehearts?" Malleus questions.

"We were powerless to stop them, and they departed with him before our very eyes... Rgh!" Silver says, frustrated.

Then Silver says, "Based on their actions, we feared they were targeting housewardens, so we rushed back as soon as we could."

But Lilia comes in and says, "Oh, they're not after housewardens." and is upside down.

"AH!" Silver and Sebek are shocked to hear it, and startled to see him in the position.

Malleus turns to Lilia, "Do you have an idea who took Rosehearts, Lilia?"

Lilia lands on the ground and says, "Yes. It has to be those who reside on the Island of "Woe."

"Ah. Of course, now it makes sense," Malleus responds, "No wonder they didn't come after me."

"I hear the island's quite different these days..." Lilia says.

Suddenly, he hears his phone ringing.

Lilia takes out his phone to see who calls, "Ah, that's Kalim."

When Lilia answers the phone, Kalim cries out, "LILIA! I'm so glad you're okay! Jamil, Vil, and Briar have been kidnapped! There's big trouble at school? Is Malleus there?!"

"No need to shout, now. Malleus is right here," Lilia answers.

Moments later, after Lilia explains the situation, "Oh, I see... So they attacked housewardens and vice housewardens all over campus. I'm gathering everyone together. Both of you, please come to the headmage's office! And hurry!" And hangs up the phone.

Lilia turns to Mallues, "I trust you heard that, Malleus?"

"Yes. Let us be off," Malleus says.

"Father, who are these 'Island of Woe' people?" Silver asks Lilia.

"Sorry, no time to chat. I'll fill you in later!" Lila says.

And with that, Malleus and Lilia disappear, as the green flowing flight appears for a little before they vanish.

Sebek calls out, "AH! Wait!"

"And they're gone..." Silver says.

Soon after, in the Headmage's office, Malleus and Lilia arrive.

"I hope we didn't keep you waiting," Malleus says.

Kalim is relieved, "Malleus! Lilia! You made it!"

So far, Ruggie, Trey, Cater, Jade, Floyd, Rook, Kalim, and even Sereia, and the others of Ramshackle are there as well.

"Hmm... It appears I was correct about which students were abducted," Lilia says.

"I was just baking some cookies in the dorm when I got word Riddle had been kidnapped. Then I heard that Ace and Deuce were injured and had to go to the infirmary..." Trey says. It was all so sudden, I can barely wrap my head around it."

"I checked out the stables where Riddle was taken, and it's like a war zone. Even the grass was burned to a crisp," Cater says.

Then asks, "What in the world is going on?"

"That's what I wanna know!" Ruggie says, upset.

Then says, "Leona surrendered unconditionally. Yeah, Leona, of all people. 'Ruggie, you're in charge of Savanaclaw 'til I get back. Then again, I can't be sure I'll come back at all...'

He was dead serious too. He just folded like a cheap suit!"

"Azul was taken during a club meeting, as we understand it," Jade says.

And Floyd says, "The Board Game Club guys say he left with 'em peacefully, and Firefly Squid and Lil' Clione went along too. I dunno, though. Azul's the type to go down swingin'. What gives?"

"Briar's group and I were with Vil and Jamil in Ramshackle," Kalim says.

"We tried to fight the intruders with magic, but it had on effect on them. They took Briar, Vil, and Jamil, and also Grim," Rook says.

"Interesting," Jade responds, "So Leona and Azul's group didn't try to fight back. There must be a reason for that."

"Leona seemed to know what their deal was..." Ruggie says.

"...Hm," Malleus responds, "Kingscholar is from an old royal house. It would stand to reason he's heard of them."

"What are you talking about?" Ruggie asks, confused.
