It actually doesn't take long for Floyd and Jade to give the Scarabia Students their just desserts. In fact, they retreat almost at an instant.

One Scarabia student expressed their frustration, "Argh... Retreat for now!"

"You haven't seen the last of us!" Another student cries out.

Soon, all the Scarabia Students who arrive run off with their tails between their legs, to some it's kind of literally.

"Go on and scatter, you bunch of minnows! Aha ha!" Floyd says with laughter.

"We'll be eagerly awaiting your next visit to our lounge," Jade adds.

Soon, the Scarabia Students are gone, much to the Ramshackle group's relief.

Grim cheers, "Mya-HAH! We did it! You see that?! That's what you get, you buncha jerks!"

However, Azul says, "I do hate to rain on your parade, but... I'm afraid we'll have to bill you for repair fees for the tables and chairs damaged in that fight. Not to mention our own labor rates, since we were dragged into this affair."

"WHAT?! You're chargin' us for that?!" Grim exclaims in shock.

"Surely it's a small price to pay for us rescuing you from the inky depths of peril?" Azul replies.

The group looks around and they've seen that their crash landing have caused some damamges to some of the tables and chairs that's in their way. Not to mention from the fight Jade and Floyd done to the Scarabia students.

"Oh..." Sereia replies.

"Yeah. We kind of did made a bit of a mess when we crashed here," Tanzanite says.

"And that fight wasn't very helpful either," Jasper replies.

Grim frowns and says, "First we get dragged into a bunch of Scarabian infighting, now this... I swear, there ain't a decent guy in this whole school!"

Hearing the statement, Azul questions, "...I'm sorry, come again? What's this about Scarabian infighting?"

Briar sighs and says, "It's kind of a long story, but what happened was..."

Briar explains to Azul and the Leech Twins about what's been happening at Scarabia. Kalim personality and attitude change and how he's been forcing the students to stay at the dorm to perform all kinds of exercises and training, and how the students are at their wits end from this. Even involving the fact that Jamil couldn't do much before his service to Kalim's family. They also has to explain on how they've been held prisoner at Scarabia, how they escaped and what lead them to the Monstro Lounge and how they crashed here. Which lead them to this.

"The housewarden of Scarabia is acting out of control, you say?" Azul questions.

"Yeah! Kalim's runnin' all his dormmates through the wringer every day, nonstop," Grim says.

"I wouldn't have expected that from Kalim, of all people,"Azulsays, taken by surprised.

Floyd is just as surprised and says, "I never knew the little Sea Otter had it in him."

"He's never given me that impression, either," Jade adds.

Then Grim says, "Vice Housewarden Jamil's got his hands full tryin' to deal with it. He's a decent guy, which is pretty rare for this school. I feel kinda bad for him. And we can't even reach the headmage in the middle of all this mess! That Crowley, I swear..."

Azul remains silent through the conversation

Jade turns to Azul and asks, "Azul, you're in Jamil's class, right?

"Yes," Azul answers, "We also share a number of electives. Our paths are wont to cross often. Grim might be right when he says that Jamil is a rarity in this school. He's...demure and poised, you might say. He hardly ever ventures opinions of his own."

Yeah. I'm in the Basketball Club with Sea Snake, and he pretty much plays like a goody-goody. I never pay much attention to other dorms to start with, so I had no idea he was vice housewarden for Scarabia," Floyd says.

Then Azul says, "And now we know he's having trouble dealing with his housewarden's antics. Hrm..." He remins silent for a minute and says, "It sounds like I should come to their aid."

"Wha? Did you hit your head or somethin' when I wasn't lookin'?" Grim questions

"Why, I never. I'll have you know the last incident forced me to reflect on my greed. I came out of it a changed man. Moving forward, I've decided to contribute to the school as a whole, in honor of the Sea Witch's spirit of benevolence. Now that Scarabia is faced with a crisis and my very own classmate is in need of help... I can hardly ignore them in their time of need," Azul says.

"Oooh?" Floyd replies.

Jade replies, "Oh-ho."

Then Azul says, "It's just as well—I tire of picking at the same turkey dinner alongside the same faces every year. Why don't we pay Scarabia a visit tomorrow?

Grim and the others are shocked to hear the idea.

Grim panics, "Seriously?! We just broke outta that prison, and you want us to march back in? Count me out."

"C'mon, Sealie-O, don't be like that," Floyd says with a smile.

"Have some faith in Azul. I'm sure he'll make this a holiday to remember," Jade says.

"It would be rude to visit empty-handed, of course," Azul says.

Then says to the twins, "Jade. Floyd. Don't forget to wrap up our gifts."

"Yes, sir. / Yes, SIR!" The Leech twins answer, and let out chuckles, "Heh heh heh..."

"I could certainly think of worse ways to spend winter break than in a sweltering desert. I can already tell this is going to be positively delightful," Azul says and lets out a chuckle, "Heh heh heh..."

"Yeah. Sorry if I don't feel all that confident, but they do have a point," Briar says.

"Are we really going back over there?" Sereia asks.

"If we're going to find out Kalim's strange behavior then we're going to have to go back to the Scarabia dorm and find out why," Briar says.

"I guess you're right," Tanzanite says.

"Well, I'm not too keen about going back there, but yeah, we need to figure this out," Jasper says.

"Indeed. If you hope to solve this little mystery, then it will be best to head to their homebase to find out the cause," Azul says.

"Yeah. So let's prepare going back to Scarabia, and we need to keep our guard up in case Kalim acts strange again," Briar says.
