Soon enough, Epel and Floyd arrive to see Silver has been surrounded by Lilia and Jamil.

"There they are!" Epel calls out, "Floyd, the monster team's shown up! Let's move!"

But Floyd says, "Were you listening to a word I said before? If we jump out at this distance, we'll be presenting ourselves to the monsters on a silver platter. We gotta get close. When we make our move, we gotta be close enough to touch 'em."

"That close?" Epel questions, turning to Floyd, "But wouldn't they notice us then? You're a pretty big guy, no offense...

"It's cool. Morays are pros when it comes to lying low and concealing ourselves. Plus I've got this sweet magic camo jacket. Keep your footsteps silent and hold your breath..." Floyd says.

The pair remain hidden as they see Silver being cornered.

Silver says, "I've found you at last. I shall avenge Malleus's elimination here and now! En garde, Fa—er, Lilia!"

"Try me, Silver!" Lilia says.

"I'll back you up, Lilia," Jamil says.

Soon, Silver ends up getting chases as he fires the beans.

Epel yelps, "Ah, Silver's moving! C'mon, Floyd!"

But Floyd says, "Not yet. Just a little further..."

"I can see why you're a bodyguard to the soon-to-be ruler of Briar Valley. You've got some nice moves. But..." Jamil says and launches himself to capture Silver.

Silver dodges, "Rgh! I have to watch out for Jamil's hunting tool. If that thing grazes me even slightly, it could knock me flat on my rear."

"Come now, Silver. You've left your flank completely unguarded!" Lilia says.

"If I could just take down either one of them..." Silver says.

"He's outnumbered and getting overwhelmed fast. We need to do something!" Epel says.

But Floyd says, "Not yet... Almost..."

"You may as well yield now. You've nowhere left to run," Lilia says to Silver.

"You put up a good fight, Silver," Jamil says.

Epel cries out, "Floyd!"

Suddenly, Floyd shouts, "NOW!"

Epel angrily shouts, "RAAAGH!" and moves in, "Lilia, you better be ready for the beaning of a lifetime—" but realizes, "...Wait, I'm the only one out?!"

Then says in thought, "What?! Where's Floyd?! Why isn't he coming out?" And soon realizes, "Oh, no...Did he use me as bait?!

Epel growls in annoyance, "Argh, fine! Whatever! RAAAGH!" and prepares to attack.

Then Silver says, "Prepare yourself, Lilia!"
