Soon, Kalim says, "I bet I know what Lilia would like."

"Me too! What's a Pop Music Club member always in the market for?" Cater says.

Then they both say, "Instruments!"

"Okay, we're gonna hit up one of the instrument shops," Kalim says. Then turns to Jamil, "Jamil, can you show the others around in the meantime?"

"Of course. Just be careful and call me if anything goes wrong. I'm counting on you to keep an eye on him, Cater," Jamil says.

"Huh, asking the tourist to babysit the local... That's a choice," Cater replies, "But yeah, I gotchu. I won't, let Kalim out of my sight."

"Okay, let's go!" Kalim says.

Then the two take off.

Cater looks around, "Wow, I've never seen most of these instruments before!"

"This place sells traditional Scalding Sands musical instruments. I'm sure we'll find just the thing for Lilia here!" Kalim says.

Cater looks around as he says, "They've got so much stuff, I barely know where to start! Lils is good at guitar, so how 'bout this round stringed thingy?"

"Great choice! I can totally picture him shouting at the top of his lungs while playing it!" Kalim says.

"How much would one of these set me back...? Whoa, yeah, not even going there," Cater says, and is shocked to see the price

But then Kalim says, "Oh, don't worry about the price. I'll pay for everything!"

But Cater says, "No, no, none of that now. The point is to give him something from BOTH of us. And it's not really a gift from me if you pay for all of it."

"Oh, I see... I hadn't thought of it that way," Kalim says, "You're really thoughtful, Cater. All right, we'll split the cost right down the middle!" then notices another instrument, "What about this ornate flute? It's really cool looking."

Cater soon notices, "Part of it's puffed out like a ball! That's so neat. How does it sound, though?"

"I could play one for you if you're curious," The vendor says.

Then the vendor plays the instrument.

Cater likes it, "Ooh, I'm likin' that sound! I bet Lils would love it. How much are they...? You know, the smaller ones are pretty affordable! Wanna get one of these, Kalim?"

"Yeah, let's go with that! Lilia will have a great time jamming out on it," Kalim says,

Then Kalim has an idea, "Oh, I know! How about we get some instruments for ourselves too? That way we can play with Lilia."

Cater happily says, "I'm into it! The three of us could totally go viral if we posted that to Magicam. We'll need to practice once we're back at school."

"Good call! If there's one thing we do in the Pop Music Club, it's practice a bunch..." Kalim says.

But realizes something, "Wait... ...? Do we practice?"

"Not really," Cater says, "Our usual routine is to play something, then we get tired and chat a bit, then we take a snack break, then a regular break... But hey, that's what makes the club fun! We get to chillax and take it easy!"

"You're so right. Our chats are basically a club activity anyway!" Kalim says.

"Nothing beats shootin' the breeze over some tasty treats!" Cater says with a grin.

"Totally!" Kalim replies.

Back to the rest of the group, they're waiting for Cater and Kalim.

"Cater and Kalim still aren't back?" Trey asks.

"The shop they went to isn't that far away... They certainly are taking their time. What could possibly be..." Jamil says, but notices the two walking back, "Oh, there they are!"

Kalim waves, "Hey! We got Lilia's gift!"

"Sorry for the hold up! All that shopping took a while," Cater says.

"I'm guessing you found something nice. What instrument did you go with?" Jamil replies.

And Kalim answers, "Oh, we ditched that idea!"

"What?!" Jamil asks, confused.

And Cater says, "Ta-da! Check it out, the ultimate souvenir— Scalding Sands snacks!" and presents them to everyone.

Kalim says, "We got him chocolate made with camel milk and cookies drizzled with tons of syrup!"

"We also picked up some sunflower seeds, pistachios, chickpeas, and all kinds of nuts!" Cater adds.

"Now we can have them during tea time while we reminisce about the Scalding Sands!" Kalim says.

"Lils is gonna love it, guaranteed!" Cater says.

"This is the Pop Music Club brand, right here!" Kalim says.

Everyone remains silent to hear it, more in disbelief.
