Nothing Will Change

They arrived in Brazil later on with no delay, but once they got to the wedding venue, everything wasn't in disarray as they had expected. Well, as Soryu expected.

But the bidders acted along, pretending to be shocked until Eisuke smirked. "Looks like we're on time..."

"Wait, what?" Soryu raised a brow but only to have a tux shoved in his face as he was dragged away by Baba and Ota. Oh no...

"Come on, Sor! You need to change!" Baba was giddy as he and Ota dragged Soryu into a room. "What the hell is going on, Lupin?"

"A wedding, Sor. Yours."

Soryu groans as once again, the artist and thief drag him outside to a courtyard.

It was lavishly decorated for a mafia wedding, it looked like any normal one. Well, except for some people who had been carrying guns.

There were strings of different flowers hung around the fences. The trees and hedges couldn't be more right in timing as flowers were blooming in flower and tree bushes. A gazebo stood in the middle, a red carpet rolled out towards it. Chairs were set in front of the  gazebo, giving the guests a clear view of what would be happening.

They had even placed a small dance floor on the side of the wide yard.

The bidders were acting normal, Yukio off speaking to, perhaps, some relatives of theirs in the mafia world.

The bidders were seated, chatting among themselves but Soryu couldn't help but stare at the wedding venue.

Was this really the last time he would see her? And in this way...?

"Soryu..." Yumiko sat alone in plains of grass, looking out to the swaying grass as she clutched a teddy bear close to her. She could smell the faint, familiar scent of the mobster she loved. It was minty, the smell of his shampoo... Everything she loved.

She cried quietly, despite it only being her in the vast plains. Just then, she heard a gentle voice call to her from behind. She turned around expectantly, but it was Ryo.

'What were you thinking girl? He's not coming for you.'

"What, Ryo?" She wiped her tears and hugged her only memento from Soryu.

"It's time to get ready, Yumi... We have three hours."

"Very well." she stands and holds the teddy as they walk back to the wedding venue. The wedding was held near the Silver Jaguars HQ, where she was to get ready.

Back in the HQ, Ryo was getting ready and Yumiko was dragged away by a few mafia mobsters and maids to get ready.

They helped her into her wedding dress and styled her hair, played with a small layer of makeup and jewelry. Two hours later, they were left with 15 minutes before the ceremony. Her groom, Hajime of the Jaguars was standing quietly by the priest on the altar, stoic.

They pinned the veil on and her bouquet was handed over. She takes a deep breath as she walks out.

It was time.

A tear rolls down her cheek as she steps through the arch of flowers by the first end of the aisle. She hides it and her face and eyes were empty as she takes one more step.

One... Everyone turns.

Two... Her groom looks.

Three... She spots him.

What is he doing here...?

She stands in front of him.

The ceremony flies by, and the actions she had hoped for never came. Soryu only watched with the bidders as she was tied to another man. The ceremony was coming to a close and after the ceremonial tea was the vows and ring exchange, there was still a small window of opportunity.

"Does anyone object to this marriage?"

Yumiko's eyes drop close.

Please... Please... Save me now...

Soryu...

No one spoke up. Why did no one speak up...?

It was time for the ring exchange.

The rings were handed over and Yumiko closed her eyes for a brief moment. She holds her hand out to Hajime for the ring but everything was quiet and she could hear some shuffling and a few footsteps.

She waits and finally, someone takes her hand and slides a ring down her finger. She tries to hold in her tears as she opens her eyes. But instead of the man's toffee eyes, she was met with midnight blue ones. Ones she had come to familiarize.

"S-Soryu...?"

"Yumiko." the man smiles gently, clutching her hand that wore the finger. "W-What..."

"I missed you..." he suddenly interrupts, tugging her into a hug. "How dare you... Marry someone else?" the man teases, whispering into her ear.

"I thought you'd never come." she ignores his words and wraps her arms around him as well. Little did she know, there were growing smirks on everyone's faces, even on Hajime and the other Jaguars.

"Does that mean you're my groom now?" she smirks, pulling away as she grabs the other ring, lifting it up to show him.

"If you'll let me." the man smiles. "N-Not fair... Too cute, Soryu." the assassin blushes and turns away, but nonetheless takes his hand gently. She slides the ring onto his finger and they say their vows.

"You may now kiss the bride." the priest smiles, stepping back. "May I?" the mobster blushes as he grabs her waist but of course, the feisty woman she is, she makes the move.

She tugs the man into a sweet kiss, hooking her arms around his neck.

"Why ask?"

Cheers erupted from the crowd as Soryu lifts his bride into a princess carry. "Hey Soryu?"

"Hm?" "I love you." "..." the man blushes. "I love you too." but nonetheless replies.

It was a party and everyone was congrtulating the newly weds, handing them gifts and presents. Until Hajime stepped up.

"Hajime..." "Yumiko." the man grins from ear to ear, a woman beside him.

"Ah, so is this your woman?" Yumiko asks, gesturing to the fair young raven haired girl beside him.

"Ah, yes... This is Kimi Aiko." the man smiles and nods. "I understand. I guess we should be happy about this whole thing, huh?"

"Haha, I'm just glad I found a sub for the groom here. And one that loves you too." the man laughs heartily.

"True... But thanks, Hajime. Now you know why you're my favorite cousin, right?"

"I always was. Without trying." "Yeah, yeah. Don't get too cocky. Take care of her, hm?"

"You needn't tell me." The man, with a wave, walks off with his fiancee to mingle with others.

Back in Japan...

"You guys..." Yumiko steps up to all the bidders in the lounge with a glare. But it softens as she grabs her husband's hand. "Thanks."

"Alright, don't get mushy on me now. It's disturbing." Eisuke rolls his eyes and turns away but Baba and Ota kept talking about a family and children, to which Soryu blushed to and Yumiko to laugh at her lover's reaction.

"Maybe some day. But we should enjoy ourselves for now."

The rest of the day passed by and later on, the two were back in Soryu's suite with a warning from Yukio to wait until their honeymoon.

The two were in bed, cuddling as they shared hugs or small pecks. Their warmth enveloped each other as they later on in the night fell asleep.

They hadn't known each other very long, but they were sure of one thing...

Their love would last forever, and nothing would ever change that.

(IMPORTANT) A/N:

Aaaand, ladies and gents (mostly ladies), that was Soryu Oh's route! Hope you enjoyed the long journey of the two. I will be starting Luke Foster's route maybe tomorrow or today.

But this is important! Would you like me to write his route here, or in a different book? Or I could write all routes here and then make epilogues in a different one...

What would you like? I really need your opinion on this one!

But for now, hope you liked it!

Ciao!
