Background: After Quillkit and Palekit were born Streamstep resumed warrior duties, only visiting the den to feed them if she had to. During this time Dappledfish, a old queen who lost two out of three from her own litter, happily took to feeding the kits. Quillkit tried her best to keep her knowledge of her parents neglect from Palekit, who was far more sensitive, and in turn began to resent her parents for never being there. Before the two she kits even became apprentices, Streamstep, and Maskfoot died, defending the can from dogs. While Palekit mourned, Quillkit could feel nothing for her parents. The thought terrified her. She had heard of cats unable to feel or understand emotion, and how they went on to do terrible things. Palekit though, chased those thoughts away, because Quillkit loved her sister dearly, and knew she'd do anything to protect her. As they grew into apprentices, Quillpaw couldn't find it in herself to try and make friends with the other apprentices. She had her sister after all, so she didn't need anyone else. Most the cats around camp took that as her being snobby, and thinking she was better than everyone else though, so they also avoided her if they could help it. About half way through their apprenticeship Palepaw was "kidnapped" by two legs. Quillpaw, of course couldn't stand for it, and tracked her down to the two legs. As it turned out though, Palepaw left RiverClan on purpose. Warrior life just wasn't for her, and she was much happier with her two leg kits, and her new blue collar that read "Sammy". Quillpaw felt betrayed above all else, and for the first time cried silently in her nest that night. Afterwards, Quillpaw focused solely on her duties, and served her clan, earning her name Quillmoon. But even still, she was alone. She had a few acquaintances within the clan that she could talk to on patrols, or eat with, as well as one or two cats from the other clans, but she mostly stuck with herslef.

Scenario

RiverClan:Your Character ends up on a patrol with Quillmoon and one other warrior. On that patrol they come across an abandoned kit. The other warrior, Darkfin, insists they leave the kit. Quillmoon, however scooped the kit up with such unusual gentleness and left your character and Darkfin where you stood.

"Just leave it." Darkfin spat, stepping over the moon old kit.

Quillmoon moves gently. Her face, usually blank and stoic, had changed to hold such softness it was unusual. Carefully, she grasped the kit's scruff in her muzzle and turned towards camp, ignoring the looks her patrol mates gave her. The dark footed cat brushed into camp, and b-lined her way to the medicine den, a brown and white ball of fluff dangling from her muzzle.

Other Clan: Your Character had been picking up the smell of RiverClan, however it's the same scent everytime, and there is no proof of hunting. Still, your character is uncertain and sits in a tree to watch. From the tree they see a streak of white and dark brown.

Quillmoon stalked through the dark bushes of the unfamiliar territory that had become so familiar in her time. It wasn't often that she visited Sammy. She only visited her twice a moon, if even that. But still, this part of ------Clan's territory was now familiar to the RiverClan cat.

The she cat streaked through the forest, her ears perked, and mouth open to catch the scents of any other cats, or even a patrol.

Kittypet:Your character is friends with Sammy. One night when your character goes over to her house shes sitting on her porch with a cat your character had never seen before.

Quillmoon brushed her cheek against Sammy's in greeting. The grey point she cat purred before stepping away. The clan cat gave the kittypet and look over, smiling softly at the bulge of Sammy's stomach.

"Its good to see you Quillmoon." Sammy purred, jumping onto the porch.

"You too." Quillmoon smiled, settling down beside her sister. "You're expecting kits." She stated.

Sammy opened her mouth to respond, but was cut off by a cat slipping over the fence. "Oh!"
