Jungkook married Y/N a month later, with her stomach slightly swollen from their unborn child. Watching Y/N walk down the aisle filled him with an overwhelming joy and love. Taehyung stood beside him as he waited for his bride to reach him.

"Are you sure about this?" Taehyung asked. "There's no backing out."

"I'm not backing away. She's perfect."

When Y/N reached him, Jungkook took her hand, and they stood before the priest to exchange their vows. For Jungkook, this day was more than just a formality—it was the best day of his life. Seeing Y/N take his name made him feel a deep satisfaction. He couldn't wait to get her alone in their bed that night. They would stay at his place for the night, and in the morning, he had a special trip to the Caribbean planned. There was so much he wanted to share with her.

On the dance floor, Y/N smiled up at him. "It's official. We're married."

"I know."

"Any regrets?" she asked, her voice soft.

Tightening his hold around her, Jungkook smiled. "The only regret I have is that I let you take some time away from me."

"What do you mean?"

The rest of the small reception faded into the background. He had invited a few business associates, and Y/N had some guests from Taehyung circle. But none of them mattered to him right now. The only person he cared about was in his arms.

"When your leg was broken and I took you back to my place, my original plan was to get you to fall in love with me. I saw how nervous you were around me, and I hated it. I took my time, knowing you'd get comfortable with me." He spun her around, drawing her close again. "The best moments of my life were the nights we'd watch a movie together. Slowly, you'd rest against me and then fall asleep."

He wrapped his arms around her, feeling the warmth of her body against his. The thought of the life they were building together filled him with immense satisfaction. She gasped as he pressed a tender kiss to her lips.

"I planned on you falling in love with me."

"Then you came home to find me packed up and ready to go," Y/N said.

"I know. Seeing that suitcase and the determination on your face, I knew I couldn't win." He let out a sigh. "I promised myself I'd give you time."

Y/N chuckled. "We've not had an easy start."

"But it all makes it worth it," he said, touching her cheek as they danced. One song flowed into another, and Jungkook held her close, his gaze fixed on her. He shot a warning glare at Taejyumg as he approached to dance.

She laughed, poking him in the ribs. "You can trust me around other men."

"Not today. This day is ours." They cut the cake, danced some more, and listened to various guests speak. Jungkook tolerated it all for Y/N's sake.

When he could no longer stand the attention, he made their excuses and took Y/N out to the car. He saw the "JUST MARRIED" sticker on the trunk, with cans trailing behind the vehicle. Laughing, he helped Y/N into the front seat before taking his own place. He held her hand tightly as he drove home.

The doorman offered his congratulations.

"Thanks, bro," Jungkook said with a grin.

"Certainly. I'll make sure the staff calls you Mrs. Jeon now."

Hearing her new name sent a thrill through him. He had her in the elevator and at the threshold of their door within minutes.

Opening the door, he kicked it open and then picked Y/N up into his arms.

"Jungkook, what are you doing?" she asked, squealing as he carried her into their apartment.

"I'm following tradition," he said, kicking the door closed behind them as he walked toward the bedroom.

He set her down in front of his gift. Y/N hadn't seen it yet; she was too focused on him.

"You're acting strangely," she said, glancing at him with curiosity.

Picking up the envelope, Jungkook handed it to her. "This is my gift to you."

"Jungkook, we agreed no gifts," she said, taking the envelope with a frown. "I didn't get you anything."

Touching her stomach, he shook his head. "I don't need anything but you. You've given me the best gift of all."

"You're being all sweet and charming again," she said, looking at the envelope.

"Open it."

Y/N sighed and opened the envelope. Pulling out the tickets, her eyes widened. "We're going to the Caribbean? I thought work couldn't let you go."

"I'm the boss, remember? I can go anywhere. Yes, I'll be taking my laptop and phone, but for the most part, I'll be with you."

She wrapped her arms around Jungkook's neck. "I love you."

"I know. You're going to be spoiled rotten." He pressed a kiss to her neck, inhaling her scent. "There's something else."

He waited while she reached into the envelope and pulled out three keys.

"What's this?"

Sitting on the edge of the bed, Jungkook took the remote and pointed it at the screen. "Watch."

Y/N sat, watching as the video of the house Jungkook had bought the week before appeared on the screen. He'd had the realtor film the property so he could show it to her.

Tears glistened in her eyes as the camera moved from room to room.

"Is that our house?" she asked, her voice trembling.

"Yes," Jungkook confirmed.

She turned to look at him, astonished. "Are you being serious?"

"I never joke about anything, Y/N. I've been waiting for the right house to come along. This one has a big enough garden for kids, possibly a few dogs, and a future."

Y/N interrupted him by kissing him deeply. The tickets for their honeymoon fell to the floor as she embraced him.

"I love you," she said between kisses. "I don't know how I got so lucky, but I'm never going to let you go."

Jungkook gently pushed the strap of her wedding dress from her shoulder. "Good, because you're mine."
