It Started With A Fly
You have heard of the old lady that swallowed a fly.
Oh how people feared she may die.
She decided to swallow a spider to kill the fly.
If crawled inside her, spinning it's web.
It's said she has maggots that seep from her eyes.
Web that stretches when she opens her mouth to cry.
Having nothing to lose she decided to try to swallow a crow that landed near by.
Perhaps it would eat the spider and fly.
It flapped and cawed, and pecked her guts away.
Knowing she most certainly was going to die she decided to try one more thing.
She swallowed a cat, not imagining the cat would claw, ripping away her insides with it's feline paws.
Blood now pours from her gaping jaws.
Spotting a dog she thought perhaps it can kill this cat.
She gulped the dog down.
Her stomach now growing and moving unnaturally around.
She screamed in agony falling to the ground.
A cow stood by munching it's grass.
She thought at last this may kill them all.
She crawled to the cow looked it straight in the eye and swallowed it down.
The cow kicked and kicked tell every bone was broken.
She tossed and turned letting out a painful moan.
Oh how her stomach churned.
She lay there very soon to die, regretting her ridiculous notions.
Spotting a horse she decided to swallow that too.
She showed not a bit of remorse.
It killed her instantly of course.
That old lady that swallowed a fly most certainly did die.
