DIALOGUE:

F: *recovering in a mental asylum*

B: *in a group therapy* Umm... hi... I'm Bonnie... A year ago, I was the happiest person on earth... I had my husband Liam... my bestfriend Damon, my dream job... and my baby... but I lost the love of my life... and my child... all because of a deranged psychotic drug addict...

B: I hate her... I loathe her with every inch of my soul... But um... I don't want to blame her... because she wasn't born evil. She was a victim too. A victim of her own inner demons, her father, mother, boyfriend...

B: and she killed them all... Then moved here, met Liam at work, I guess she got obsessed that she couldn't have him, and the drugs took over her sanity, making her hallucinate things...

B: like Stefan, her humanity switch, her bloody pallette for the twisted painting of the tragic life of the scorned wife... I wanna be able to forgive her... to move on... but I can't. It hurts... It hurts so much...

T: Thank you, Bonnie for sharing your experience. You know, pain and trauma... They take time to heal... years even... so don't rush it. Take your time...

After the therapy...

D: Hey Bonbon. How was therapy?

B: It was good... I'm starting to feel better... Damon... Thank you so much... for everything... for staying even though you don't have to.

D: You kidding me? Of course, I'm taking care of you. I know I don't have to but I want to and I will.

B: I heard you... I know what you said at the hospital...

D: Oh... You don't have to think about it... You know... at least not now... It doesn't matter. It can wait... and Liam just died... and the kidiot...

B: It's been a year, Damon. I can move on... I do love you, you know? I always have... maybe not romantically but... I know that my life will never be the same without you...

[D: But?]

B: You know me too well... I think it's best if we just stay friends... because what if we don't work? And things get awkward and... I just... I'd rather have you as a friend forever... than risk it and lose you forever...

2 weeks later:

B: *peeks at Fallon and gets flashbacks of bad memories*

B: *chickens out and takes deep breaths*

B: Come on.. You can do this...

B: *finally faces Fallon* Hello, Fallon... or should I call you, Lucy?

F: ... a sinner is more fitting... *after awkward silence* I'm so sorry Bonnie... for everything... I know sorry won't bring him back... I know it'll never be enough...

B: I forgive you... I forgive you...

F: What? I'm sorry, are you a saint or are you just stupid? I literally killed your husband and your baby, and I almost killed you and you forgive me? No. I don't accept that... I don't deserve it...

B: You're right... I shouldn't forgive you that easily... You ruined my life... until now you scare me... and I hate you for it. The truth is I want to make you feel the same pain I'm feeling... but I can't... The only thing left to do right now is to forgive you and move on... I just want to be free of it all...

B: That and it's been a year... about time to move on... and maybe because I want to believe that deep down, there's good in you... You weren't born evil, Fallon... And you have remorse... which means there's hope for you...

B: So here's how it's gonna go. You're gonna help me learn to forgive you... and I'm gonna help you recover. We're gonna help each other heal. Got it?

B: I'm home! Fallon?! Damon?! ... *finds letter on the table*

F: Oh hey Bon. Damon left that letter for you... He didn't tell you? He's moving to Mystic Falls for good. He just left a while ago. That letter was his way of telling you... I'm sorry Bon... I know you two were close.

B: No. No way. This can't be his way of saying good bye. He can't just leave like this! I have to go... *rushes out*

B: Damon?! Damon!

D: Bonnie? What the are you doing here?

[B: Stopping you from leaving?! I mean-- this is so unfair! You can't just leave-- not now--]

B: --Not before I tell you that... I'm in love with you too and I want you to stay with me. Because I am NOT accepting this damn letter for a goodbye. Our story isn't ending like this!

D: Bon- Bon, calm down! I'm not leaving you! NEVER! I just had to drop off Rose to the airport. And what letter? I didn't leave any letter.

B: B-But-- *checks the letter and it's blank* Of course, Fallon... *realizes Fallon pranked her and sighs* god, I am so embarassing-

D: Wait, hold on-- Bonnie Bennett... Did you just tell me you're in love me???

B: W-Well YES, idiot! Yes... It's you, it's always been you... I'm sorry it took me so long... but I'm not afraid to take the risk with you anymore. So you're stuck with me... forever.

D: You're stuck with me forever too, Bonbon.

B&D: *kiss passionately*

Meanwhile...

F: *starts rebuilding her career*

K: Well, my cousin sure does have an eye for talent. Hi. I'm Kirby Anders, I'm from Femperial, I'm an art dealer... and I'm very much interested.

[F: In my work?]

K: That and in you. *smirks*

F: You're very unlucky then. Both the painting and I are twisted... and broken... At first sight, it seems perfect, but if you look at it from a different perspective, it's... a mess...

K: Perfect match then. I've got a thing for those. One time, I set my dad's vineyard on fire... You shouldn't sell yourself short, love. You're the exact fit for what we're looking for. Wanna go out one time?

Liam finally found peace knowing Bonnie is in good hands. He continues to watch over them.

Fallon's career and health continuously improved. She built a great friendship with Bonnie.
