Bleed for Me

Y/n was sitting in the corner of the hideout. She held a book in her hand and placed the stuffed f/an in her lap. The back door slowly swung open. Y/n glanced up from her book when she heard the door but looked back down when she realized it was Kurogiri.

"Good morn–" Y/n cut herself off. "Or, it's probably afternoon, huh?"

Kurogiri opened up a warp portal. "It's still morning. Go on ahead. Tomura Shigaraki said your probation is up. You will be continuing where you left off with Giran as of today."

Y/n looked up at Kurogiri. "I am?" Tomura didn't tell her anything to her about that. She recalled Giran was very kind, though, so she wasn't entirely against it.

Y/n placed the book onto her pillow and stood up. As she approached the portal, she felt Kurogiri's hand on her shoulder. She looked up at the much taller villain. He held some cash in his other hand. "The League pays its members. I was holding onto your payment until your probation was over."

Y/n shyly took the money from Kurogiri's hand and looked down at it. She felt weird holding the money in her hands. Considering that The League is a villain organization, y/n wasn't too happy about accepting the money.

"Thank you," y/n said with a smile on her face. Her face dropped as soon as she looked away from Kurogiri and headed through the portal.

Y/n was greeted to the sight of Giran's office in complete disarray. She looked at all the files scattered all along with his desk and the floor. "Wh-" y/n began, she was too distracted to finish her thought.

Giran turned around and smiled at y/n. "Hey there! Kurogiri told me ya were comin' back, so I decided I could borrow ya for a minute and reorganize my entire office." This wasn't the task y/n thought she'd be doing, but y/n didn't mind. She just didn't know where to start.

"Okay..." she quietly said as she looked all around the room. Y/n was afraid to move, worried that she'd knock over a stack of papers or accidentally step on something important. Above everything else, she was worried Giran's chain-smoking would end up lighting the whole office on fire in its current state.

Giran told her to push things out of the way for now. He added that they'd go through all the paperwork later. Y/n made herself a little walkway. "Glad ya managed to come back. Quite a few of my clients were askin' about you when ya left," Giran said with a chuckle.

Y/n picked up a stack of papers and glossed over them. She still remembered how Giran likes his paperwork organized. He practically beat that information into her brain over the week and a half she spent pretending to be his assistant. "Oh? Why's that?" y/n asked. Giran was easy to talk to, it almost felt like she never got banned from his office at all.

"I'm sure they prefer seeing you around instead of an old man like me. You're much easier on the eyes," Giran explained. Y/n let out a hum in response. "Actually, I'm gonna be usin' that to my advantage. Now when clients come in, I'd appreciate it if you'd greet them at the door."

Y/n froze in place. He wants me to talk to them? She asked herself. Y/n glanced down at her hands. "I dunno about that," she said in a hushed, anxious tone.

"It'll be easy. Listen. All the villains here are doin' business. They're not going to attack you or anythin' like that." Giran made it sound like she was going to be greeting a bunch of kids, but that didn't ease her nerves. Y/n reluctantly agreed to his request. "Atta girl. I'm sure you'll get used to it soon."

Y/n continued to help Giran reorganize his office. Occasionally, a client would come in. Y/n would drop what she's doing and approach the villain. With a smile and a bow, she'd greet them. While Giran talked to his clients, y/n would continue where she left off. Once Giran was done, he'd continue helping y/n.

"So how is that support item Shigaraki ordered?" Giran asked as he handed y/n a file to put away.

"The mask?" she asked, Giran nodded. "I haven't used it yet. It's not very comfortable." She placed the file away for Giran.

"I see, you'll get used to it," he replied. Y/n let out a hum. She wasn't so sure about that. The one time she put it on felt suffocating.

Y/n slipped her fingers down into her shirt collar and pulled out the little locket. She held it in her hand. "Did he order this from you too?"

Giran looked at the locket. His smile faded a little. "He sure did." Y/n asked if Tomura really did design the pendant, it sounded out of character for him. Giran cleared his throat a little. "Yep. Shigraki came to me with a short description and what its purpose was for."

"Like the little button?" y/n asked.

Giran paused. "Yes." Y/n thought Giran was acting strange. Giran changed the subject before she had a chance to ask him what was wrong. "Hey, do you mind running out and picking up lunch?"

"Sure." Y/n jumped at the chance to go outside and walk around like an average person. She stood up and offered to pay for lunch this time around. Giran waved it off and handed y/n some money.

Y/n had a few other things she wanted to do while she was out. She tried to grab herself a new book for the most part. She wasn't familiar with the city Giran's office was posted at. Y/n didn't even have the name of the town. She figured she could use it as an excuse to come back to the office late.

She wandered into a small bookstore crammed between two other stores. Y/n walked down row by row, glossing over the names labeled on each spine. Every time a book caught her eye, she'd stop and read the little description on the back.

Y/n stopped, she had found herself in the romance section. Y/n picked up a book and read it's description. It sounded awful and cheesy. Without any shame, she held the book in her arm and walked to the next row.

By the time she made her way to the other side of the bookstore, y/n had just the one book in her arms. Y/n walked up to the front desk and slid the novella onto the counter.

Y/n had a pleasant conversation with the girl behind the front counter. This was the first non-villain she has talked to in months. Though with the social climate nowadays, y/n couldn't guarantee that the petite girl standing behind the counter and ringing up her book isn't a villain.

Y/n paid for the book with a polite smile. Bag in hand, y/n thanked the girl and walked outside.

As y/n continued her search for something to buy for lunch, she came across another store of interest. A video game shop. She recalled her dream from the night before and wondered if Tomura actually needed a new game. Y/n stopped and walked inside.

Everyone inside seemed like they knew why they're in the store. It made y/n feel a little out of place.

Y/n glanced over the game covers displayed. She realized she had no idea what kind of games Tomura typically played, let alone what consoles he plays with. She walked up to the wall with various consoles lined up on the wall. Tapping her index finger on her lips, she glanced over all the consoles trying to remember which one she's seen him use. Y/n stopped at one. I think that's it.

"Can I help you?" a voice called out from behind her. Y/n turned around to see a tall guy standing behind her with a friendly smile.

Y/n felt both relieved someone decided to check up on her and embarrassed over how out of place she must have looked. "Uhm... yes." Y/n pointed to one of the smaller handheld consoles. "I'm thinking about picking up a few games for this. I think."

"You think?" he echoed. Y/n admitted that she wasn't sure if that was the correct console. He reassured her that she could return it if it's wrong. Y/n smiled at him and thanked him. "So, do you have a game in mind?"

"No," y/n mumbled under her breath, her embarrassment growing a little bit more.

"Okay," he said thoughtfully; "is this for your boyfriend or a sibling?"

Y/n could feel her face burning up. "No, none of those. He's just a friend."

"Well, do you know what kind of games they like?" he asked. Once again, y/n shook her head. He raised an eyebrow and glanced over to the games on the wall. "Do they have this one?" he asked, explaining that it was one of the most popular JRPGs at the moment.

"I... don't really know to be honest." Y/n averted her eyes from the guy and looked over the covers. "Uhm... if it's recent, I don't think he'd have it."

Y/n could tell he seemed a little relieved to finally get something other than I don't know out of her. "Well, if you're looking for recent..." he said under his breath while he glanced over the display. He paused and picked out a different game. "How about this one?"

He could have held up any game, and y/n wouldn't have been able to tell the difference between the two. "That looks fine... I guess," she said as she inspected the cover.

The guy gave her a smile and led her to the front counter. Y/n thanked him and apologized for being a hassle as she paid. He promised y/n that she wasn't a hassle. She thanked him once again and walked out.

Now that y/n had finished with all the extra shopping tasks, she decided she should pick up lunch before Giran calls either Tomura or Kurogiri.

Y/n returned with some take out. Giran didn't tell her what he wanted, and y/n was more interested in her book than food at the moment. "That took a lot longer than I thought it would. I figured you'd be gone for ten minutes max." Y/n could hear some mild frustration in his voice.

"I-I'm sorry, I got lost," y/n said, leaving out the detail about going shopping for herself.

Giran's face went emotionless while her quirk took effect. "Oh well, when you put it that way, you're fine," he smiled.

Y/n smiled back at him. She didn't intend for her quirk to activate. Y/n held back her immediate urge to take it back and tell Giran the truth.

Y/n sat down across the desk from Giran, and they both talked while they ate. Giran seemed like he had to go down a list of conversation topics to go over with y/n. It appeared to be a general description of what The League had done before. If y/n has to guess, Tomura probably told Giran to go over this stuff because he didn't want to do it himself.

As the conversation went on, the conversation changed to more business-related topics. Giran gave a more detailed description of the mask that Tomura ordered for her and asked her if she had any plans for more support items for herself.

By the time their lunchtime conversation was nearing its end, y/n was mostly asking general questions about Giran. She wanted to hear some of his stories about weird clients.

Y/n and Giran went back to work after lunch. The office still looked like a disaster, but y/n felt like she could walk around now, at least. Y/n asked him why he was reorganizing his office. "Oh, I had an influx of clients. Y'know, some new ones coming in and quite a few others leaving." He emphasized leaving as if he was suggesting other things. "I organize my office fairly frequently. Once Kurogiri told me ya were comin' back, I decided to hold off and wait for you to come back."

Before the ban, Giran used to keep a close eye on the time and wait outside with y/n. Today, it was different. Y/n and Giran ended up losing track of time. A portal manifested in the office. Y/n glanced over her shoulder and stood up. "Goodbye, Mr. Giran, sir." She gave a little bow.

"Bye, sweetheart. Thanks for the help. See ya tomorrow," he replied. Y/n didn't know she was supposed to come back again. It was a little odd. Tomura has been so strict about never letting her go anywhere, and now she was back to spending hours away from him. Y/n waved goodbye and walked into the portal.

Y/n's eyes scanned the hideout. She spotted Tomura lounging on the couch. She walked up to him and held the bag in her hand up to the villain. "Here."

Tomura looked at the bag. "What's this?" The villain sat up and took the bag from her hands. He looked over the game and read the description on the back while y/n explained that she went shopping while she out. Y/n added that since Tomura doesn't go out often, she figured he might have run out of things to do. She could see Tomura's red eyes from behind his hair. "Thanks."

Y/n smiled at Tomura. "Don't mention it." Tomura pointed to the other bag in her hand. "Oh, this? I bought myself a book while I was out." She felt a little too embarrassed to pull the book out and show it to him.

She could see Kurogiri in the distance staring in her direction. Part of her felt a little guilty that she didn't bring Kurogiri anything either. All things considered, Kurogiri has been delightful to y/n. She didn't know much about him, thanks to Tomura.

She placed the bag down next to the couch. As soon as she stood up straight again, she suddenly felt a pair of arms wrap around her torso from behind. The force of something pushing up against her back made y/n stumble forward.

The pair of arms wrapped around y/n tightened. Y/n could feel whoever was behind her had stopped her from falling over. "Yay! Big sis isn't in trouble anymore! Now we can hang out!" a familiar voice called out.

Y/n gently pried the little hands off her and turned around. Himiko immediately latched back onto y/n while mumbling something about how she was excited to be just like y/n. "Ah– hello Himiko," y/n greeted before patting her on the head.

Y/n noticed Himiko had some sort of weird contraption on her back. She let go of y/n and gave her a wide, toothy grin.

Kurogiri stepped forward. He motioned the girls to sit down on the couch. Tomura reluctantly grumbled to himself as he scooted closer to the armrest to give the girls some space. Himiko sat down on the armrest. Y/n placed herself between the girl and Tomura.

"Hey, big sis, can I have some of your blood?" A manic smile crossed Himiko's lips. Y/n was confused, she wasn't sure if Himiko was being serious or not. The blonde girl reached into a compartment strapped to her thigh and pulled out a knife. "I'm ready!" she announced gleefully.

Tomura reached out and pulled y/n closer to him. The already wide smile on Himiko's face widened even more. "That's a cute reaction," she giggled.

Kurogiri stepped in and informed y/n about Himiko's quirk. He explained that she could take on another's appearance by consuming their blood. One cup of blood will give her enough energy to maintain the form for 24 hours. "I must ask if you'd be willing to donate two cups of your blood, miss y/n."

"T-that sounds like a lot," she stuttered.

Kurogiri informed her that two cups is the standard amount for most blood donations. The shadow-like villain promised y/n that she had nothing to worry about. Kurogiri could see y/n eyeing the knife in Himiko's hand. "Put that knife away," Kurogiri demanded as if scolding a child.

Himiko giggled and slid the knife back into the compartment. "I wasn't going to use the knife anyway. I was just joking." Kurogiri informed her that y/n can't tell when she's joking. Y/n had her doubts. Tomura wouldn't have pulled her away if it was blatantly clear Himiko was kidding.

Y/n looked up at Kurogiri. "I guess it's fine, but how are you going to–" before y/n could finish her thought, she felt a sharp pain in her arm. A whimper escaped her lips as she looked at the blonde girl sitting next to her.

Himiko was holding onto a syringe-like device in her hand. She hummed a playful tune while the blood drained from y/n's arm through a clear tube that connected to the contraption strapped to her back.

Y/n could feel the sharp pain that came from the syringe needle piercing her skin. The pain slowly spread out until her whole arm hurt. It felt like a strange air pressure was running through her veins. Y/n, who was trying to keep her arm as still as possible, covered her mouth with her hand, stifling another whimper.

Tomura placed a hand delicately on her shoulder, his middle finger lightly ran along her collar bone. Y/n gritted her teeth as the pain became more and more intense. She could feel her eyes well up with tears. Y/n fought the urge to start crying. Her hands began trembling.

"Toga, pull it out," Tomura demanded. Himiko let out a disappointed hum as she pulled the needle out of y/n's skin. "How much blood did you drain?" Tomura asked.

Himiko glanced behind herself and looked at the small capsules filled with blood. "Uhhh... four cups, I think."

"Four cups?" Tomura echoed; "we said to take two cups, don't you know how to count?" Tomura had a biting tone in his voice. Y/n felt lightheaded, without thinking about it, she rested her head on Tomura's arm. The last thing y/n remembered hearing was Tomura's voice was telling everyone to let her rest.

Y/n woke up to her arm, still stinging. She always felt lightheaded. Y/n glanced up to see Tomura still sitting next to her. "Sorry," y/n mumbled under her breath.

Almost immediately, she felt Himiko's fingers interlaced with hers. Himiko bounced up and down. "Y/n! Y/n! Come on! Let's go play dress up!"

Tomura tried to stop Himiko from being so rough with y/n, but Himiko had already pulled y/n to her feet. Himiko dragged y/n to her personal belongings. The blonde girl held as much as y/n's clothes as she could into her arms. Himiko circled around y/n and stood behind her. She nudged y/n with her shoulder towards Kurogiri's room.

Y/n sat down on Kurogiri's bed, still feeling a little exhausted. She watched as Himiko rummaged through y/n's clothes. She held up a white button-up shirt. "Do you think this'll look good?" she asked.

Y/n's head still felt foggy, so she decided to humor Himiko. "Sure." Himiko placed the shirt onto the bed and picked up a skirt. She asked if y/n would wear that skirt with the button up. "Uhm, yeah, I guess."

Himiko began to change into the outfit y/n helped her pick out. She turned to y/n. "Hey, hey, you should change too. I wanna see if I can fool Tomura! Come on, it'll be fun!" Y/n could hear the urgency in Himiko's voice. Somewhat reluctantly, y/n picked out a new outfit and changed into it. Himiko playfully spun around. "How do I look?" she asked as she posed.

The button-up looked a little big on Himiko, but other than that, y/n thought she looked adorable. "It looks good," y/n smiled vacantly.

Himiko reached off to the side and took out the syringe device. Seeing that device again made y/n flinch. Himiko shook the syringe. "I think I could get a drop from here." Y/n watched as Himiko placed the needle in her mouth. She pulled it out and slid it back into place. "Blood is so yummy," she cooed; "I like yours. It's so very sweet."

Y/n recoiled. She remembered Himiko had taken a lot of her blood, she couldn't imagine drinking four full cups of blood. A grey goop started to seep out of Himiko's skin and consume the blonde girl. Y/n watched as the goo sunk back into her skin.

Y/n felt like she was looking at a mirror. Himiko looked exactly like her. Y/n walked up to Himiko and circled around her, looking at the girl. While y/n thought consuming blood was disgusting, her quirk was overall fascinating. "I look just like you, huh?" Himiko giggled. Y/n thought it sounded weird hearing her own voice asking her questions.

"Yeah, you do." Y/n replied. She began to feel a little subconscious as she spotted little things about herself that she didn't like. Small features she hadn't noticed before.

Himiko pulled off the contraption strapped to her back and helped y/n put it on. She stood in front of y/n, her arms crossed across her chest, and nod approvingly. "That looks good on you."

"Ah- thank you," y/n said quietly. Y/n's attention went back to Himiko. The girl was fiddling with the top buttons of the button up. "What are you doing?" y/n asked.

"I said I wanted to fool Tomura. I think you two would make a cute couple, so I want to push the process along, just enough to get the ball rolling. Do you think this is enough cleavage? Or do you think I should undo another button or two?" she asked with a mischievous smile on her face.

Y/n frowned, and her face was a deep red. "Please don't do that." Clearly, Himiko had no intention of doing what y/n asked. She wrapped her arms around y/n and pulled her out of the room.

As if Himiko flipped a switch in her head, she let go of y/n and averted her eyes to the men. Y/n could tell Himiko was trying her best to imitate y/n's shy personality. Admittedly, it was spot on. Y/n began to grow worried as she saw Himiko wander to Tomura.

She sat down next to Tomura and glanced up at him. "Shigaraki, doesn't Himiko look like me? I think it's a little weird." Y/n covered her face as she saw Himiko reposition herself, so she was facing Tomura.

"Uh-huh," Tomura replied. Sounding a little suspicious. He got up and walked away from Himiko. "That's enough jokes from you."

Himiko stood up immediately and frowned. "What gave it away?"

Tomura pointed at y/n. "She still looks pale from the blood loss. Also, y/n calls me by my first name too."

Himiko's eyes lit up. "You two are both on a first name basis now?! That's so cute."

Tomura looked over to Kurogiri. "She's getting on my nerves." Kurogiri gave a subtle nod and opened up a portal. Himiko glanced back to the warp gate and ran up to y/n. She helped y/n take off Himiko's blood-sucking machine. Himiko turned around to the group and waved goodbye as chunks of grey goo melted off, revealing small glimpses of Himiko's face underneath.

Y/n waved goodbye with a smile on her face. Deep down, she was feeling relieved to see Himiko go. Y/n let out a sigh. "I'm still feeling a little lightheaded, I'm going to lay down for a bit." Y/n excused herself and crawled into bed.

Tomura and Kurogiri talked for a bit while y/n rested. After an hour, Kurogiri decided it was his turn to go to bed. He reminded Tomura not to stay up too late. Tomura grunted in response.

The villain sat down on the couch and looked at the little bag y/n had placed down beside the sofa. He pulled the book out of the bag and looked at it. I thought y/n would have better taste than this, he scoffed as he flipped through the pages.

Tomura stopped at a page close to the center of the book. He looked it over. The page was some sort of romance scene with the devilishly handsome love interest trying to woo the main character. The love interest was gushing over how beautiful he thought the main character was. Tomura scoffed again at the book.

The villain found himself glancing over the next two pages as he walked over to y/n's side. He shook his head in disapproval as he placed the book down at the top of the book pile. Tomura began to wonder if y/n was into that sort of thing. He didn't take her as the kind who would like to be complimented. Tomura figured that would embarrass y/n more than anything.

Tomura had planned on looking at the game y/n bought him, but he decided to take Kurogiri's advice instead. He felt a sharp pain in his chest since Himiko's little prank, and it was beginning to annoy him.

From all his times getting injured in battle, Tomura knew one of the best ways to combat pain was to sleep it off. If he was still feeling unwell by tomorrow evening, he decided he would postpone tomorrow's plan.
