A Night Out

SShigaraki kept a close eye on y/n. He had begun to rely on Kurogiri to explain y/n's moods to him. It became increasingly apparent that he didn't understand y/n as well as he should. He's tried being kind to her. Much of his acts of kindness have resulted in accidentally making her sad. He didn't understand what he was doing wrong.

For the most part, he noted that y/n seemed to have calmed down noticeably. Y/n occasionally would have her off days, just like everyone else. However, compared to her first week, she had improved significantly. She spoke up a little louder, and she didn't stutter nearly as much. Y/n spoke much more directly than she used to. Kurogiri pointed out that Shigaraki's patience seemed to be paying off.

Kurogiri gave Shigaraki a detailed description of y/n's mood every day and explained what Shigaraki could do differently. He emphasized that Shigaraki should never bring another one of y/n's friends over and kill them in front of her.

Shigaraki's eyes narrowed at his adviser. He didn't think that mess would be so traumatizing to y/n; personally, Shigaraki was having a fun time with the whole thing. Sensing that Shigaraki was starting to get a little irritated at his advice, Kurogiri offered to go pick up dinner. Shigaraki exited the room and sat down, announcing to y/n that Kurogiri was going to come back with food.

Kurogiri had come back a lot faster than y/n expected. For whatever reason, Shigaraki had begun allowing y/n to talk to Kurogiri again. She retrieved her food from the shadowy villain, and Y/n sat down on the mattress, her food placed on her lap.

As she ate, y/n would hold up her table scraps in her hand and waved it in front of Nobuo's face. Y/n placed the food down onto the floor and watched Nobuo eat it.

"Don't feed the Nomu," Shigaraki called out from the couch.

Y/n looked in front of her to see Nobuo vacantly staring at her with unblinking eyes. She shrugged and pointed towards the foot of her bed. "Go lay down," she ordered. She watched at Nobuo slowly crept to the floor at the foot of her bed.

Y/n ate quietly. Suddenly, Shigaraki spoke up. "Y/n, we're going out tomorrow evening."

"Like on a mission?" y/n asked.

Shigaraki went silent for a moment. "Something like that," he finally replied. Y/n asked where they were going, but Shigaraki stayed tight-lipped on the details. Just like always, he told her she'd find out in due time.

Y/n wasn't sure how she felt about Shigaraki keeping a secret like that. It's one thing not to tell her what his master plan was. It was another thing to say he had a mission lined up and leaving her in the dark. Regardless, y/n knew there wasn't anything she could do to change his mind.

The next day came before y/n knew it. She woke up even earlier than she usually did. She felt stressed and anxious about what Shigaraki had in mind for her. While she waited for Shigaraki to wake up, she tried to guess when was the last time she's been outside.

She could easily recall the last time she was outside the hideout. The last time she was out was when Shigaraki gave her Nobuo. She mentally tried to count the weeks.

It was hard to guess exactly how long it has been. The hideout didn't have any windows. Someone had boarded up all the windows, y/n guessed that it was most likely Shigaraki. The lack of windows made it hard to keep track of days.

After counting and recounting the days, y/n decided that she had been staying with Shigaraki for a total of two and a half months. It's been about three weeks since she was gifted the monster.

Y/n didn't know what to do. She had no way of telling how close it was to evening. She had the clock on the wall, but she wasn't so sure if it was even set to the right time. Shigaraki woke up around the same time every day. She'd know what time it was as soon as he woke up.

Y/n leaned her back against the wall and picked up the new book Shigaraki lent her. This one was a fantasy adventure written by the same person as the first book Shigaraki had given her. Although this book was good too, she could see why the other one was so frail from being reread over and over. The first book Shigaraki had given her to read far superior.

Shigaraki let out a tired moan before rolling himself off the couch. Y/n looked up from her book. "Good morning," she said, it was typically the first thing she said to Shigaraki when he woke up.

Shigaraki rubbed his eyes. "It's not even morning."

Y/n thought it was strange that he's never questioned it before. She smiled at Shigaraki. "It's morning somewhere in the world, right?"

Shigaraki grumbled, saying something about her being too positive. Y/n shrugged it off and turned her attention back to the book. "So what's today's mission?" she asked; "should I bring Nobuo with us?"

"Nomu isn't needed," Shigaraki replied. He made a point to emphasize Nomu, it was his way of reminding her that he refuses to call Nobuo by his new name.

Shigaraki ignored her other question. Y/n tried to think of what kind of mission Shigaraki would have in mind for her. Nobuo was supposed to be her bodyguard, according to Shigaraki, so she couldn't figure out why she wouldn't take Nobuo with them.

She recalled Shigaraki said she was also going to gather information for The League. Y/n wondered if that's what she was doing today. After giving it some thought, she decided that she had to be gathering information. It didn't make sense for her to do anything else.

Several hours passed. Y/n tried to keep her mind off things. The hideout didn't have very much to do. All y/n had were Shigaraki's books, and she wasn't sure if she was allowed to go through them for herself.

Sometimes, she'd use Shigaraki's computer and watch movies, but moments like that were rare. Shigaraki often insisted that it was for business. Y/n often thought about the many times she's seen Shigaraki playing games, but she held her tongue.

Shigaraki stood up. "It's time to go." Y/n dug around her small pile of personal items. She pulled the hoodie he gave her onto her lap and picked up the metal mask. Shigaraki looked down at her. "You won't need that mask." Y/n blinked and placed it off to the side.

She held the hoodie in her hands. "Will I need this?" she asked.

Shigaraki turned away from her and grabbed his trench coat. "That's up to you." The blue-haired villain walked into the backroom, y/n guessed he was getting Kurogiri.

Even though y/n didn't know where Shigaraki was taking her, she figured she should bring it with her, just in case it was cold out. Y/n tucked her hair behind her ear and threw on the hoodie.

The hoodie was a little big on her. Y/n rolled the sleeves up a little, so they stopped just below her wrists.

Shigaraki came back out and looked y/n up and down. Y/n noticed Shigaraki was staring at her. She looked down at the hoodie. "Is there something on it?"

"It's nothing," Shigaraki started; "come on, let's go." A Kurogiri portal opened up beside the villain. Y/n started to feel anxious now that the warp gate was directly in front of her. She reminded herself that she needed to play along with Shigaraki. Y/n took a breath and approached Shigaraki. She followed him through the portal.

Y/n felt a cold breeze against her face before she was able to see. The air was filled with the sound of people laughing and music. Y/n scanned her surroundings as soon as the portal dispersed. It looked like she and Shigaraki were dropped off at a hiking trail. Trees were surrounding both of them. Way off in the distance, y/n could see people walking along a dirt road.

Shigaraki threw on his hood and removed the hand from his face. He carefully placed the hand into his coat's inner pocket. He glanced back to y/n, who was still looking around and grabbed her arm. "Come on, don't just stand around gawking."

Shigaraki pulled her towards the crowd of people walking down the dirt road. The closer the two of them got to the group, the slower Shigaraki's pace became. As Shigaraki and y/n made it to the dirt road, he slid his hand off her arm and down to hers.

He hadn't held another's hand since he was a child. Naturally, he defaulted to holding y/n's hand like how he would've back then. All of his fingers, except for his little finger, curled around y/n's index and middle fingers. His thumb lightly rubbed her palm.

Y/n gave him a strange look. "Why are you-" she began to say before Shigaraki cut her off.

"I can't just drag you around by pulling your arm, that looks suspicious. I need to blend in, you know." Y/n was going to ask why he needed to 'drag her around' as he put it, but she dropped it. She told herself that she was just overthinking things.

As they approached the commotion, y/n realized Shigaraki had taken her to a festival. She saw kids running around with their friends, couples walking hand-in-hand, and families spending time together. This is definitely not where she thought Shigaraki was going to take her.

Suddenly, y/n had a bad feeling about this. Y/n leaned in close to Shigaraki. "We're not going to be doing villain things here, are we?" she asked in a hushed tone, being very cautious about making sure no one around the two heard her ask. She felt anxious, waiting for Shigaraki to answer her question. She didn't want to ruin the festival for all these people.

Shigaraki rolled his eyes at her and scoffed at the phrase doing villain things. "No. That's not why we're here."

"Are we gathering information then?" she asked.

"No," he replied, already tired of y/n's questions.

Y/n silently thought about it before asking more questions. She was at a loss. "Then... why are we here?"

Shigaraki let out a sigh. "To apologize."

"Apologize?" y/n echoed. She didn't know Shigaraki knew that word. Y/n especially didn't think he knew how to do it.

"Apparently, you didn't like your gift. The one with your hero friend," Shigaraki was struggling to admit that he might have done anything wrong out loud.

Y/n stopped him, it sounded like he was struggling a bit too much. "You don't need to say anymore." She didn't know how she felt about all this. Of course, she didn't forgive Shigaraki, she didn't think there's anything Shigaraki could ever possibly do to get her to forgive him. However, she did appreciate the effort. It was a nice gesture.

Y/n decided to try to have fun while they're at the festival. She didn't want to come across as ungrateful and have Shigaraki freak out at the festival. He might end up going on a killing spree.

Y/n expected that Shigaraki didn't have many plans since he hates social gatherings like these. Too many people for his comfort, if she had to guess. Still, Shigaraki was technically the one leading her, so she wondered if he had any plans.

She looked all around as Shigaraki led her. A couple holding hands was walking just ahead of the two of them. Y/n's face began to redden as she remembered Shigaraki was still holding onto her fingers. She realized that she and Shigaraki must look like a couple.

Among the crowd, y/n spotted a hero on patrol in the distance. The hero didn't appear to be alarmed. Y/n believed the hero hadn't seen Shigaraki yet. Anxiously, she looked at Shigaraki, then over to the hero, and finally back at Shigaraki. Although Shigaraki swore the trench coat was all he needed, y/n began to doubt that. She glanced back at the hero. They were fast approaching.

In a moment of acting before thinking, she haphazardly pulled Shigaraki off to the side. Y/n made sure Shigaraki's back was facing the crowd. She was still worried that the hero would be able to get a glimpse of Shigaraki's face as he walked by. Before Shigaraki had the chance to ask any questions, y/n wrapped her arms around his neck and brought him close to her level. Y/n blushed, if the two of them didn't look like a couple before, they certainly looked like one now.

Over Shigaraki's shoulder, she saw the hero walk close by. Now worried that the hero would recognize her face, she nestled her forehead into Shigaraki's shoulder. Y/n felt Shigaraki twitch in her arms. "Sorry," she muttered under her breath. Y/n could hear Shigaraki's breathing, it sounded shallow.

By the time y/n released Shigaraki, the hero had already been long gone. Y/n apologized again, explaining that a hero was on patrol. Shigaraki placed a pair of fingers on her head and ruffled her hair. "Nice catch."

Y/n smiled at Shigaraki warmly. She knows Shigaraki doesn't say nice things about others often, so it made her feel special when he praised her. Y/n tried to ignore the feeling of accomplishment. He was a dangerous villain who had killed one of her close friends. Shigaraki took y/n's hand, just like before, and the pair rejoined the crowd.

Walking down the crowded walkway, the two of them were fast approaching an arcade. Y/n didn't have any interest in video games, so she knew Shigaraki had planned on passing by the arcade. A claw machine was placed right in front of the arcade, right in front of the front door. As she and Shigaraki passed by, something caught y/n's eye. She stopped and pulled on Shigaraki's hand back to the arcade. "Awww, it's so cute," y/n cooed, pointing to a plush f/a.

"You know these things are scams, right?" Shigaraki asked. Y/n's face dropped. Of course, she knew that everyone does. Shigaraki glanced over to the stuffed animal in the claw machine. "F/as, huh?" he mumbled under his breath, taking notice that he now knew y/n's favorite animal. He looked over to the sad look in her eyes and sighed. "Fine. I'm giving myself three tries. We're going to let it go and move on if I can't get it. No ifs, ands, or buts. Got it?" Y/n nodded excitedly.

Shigaraki slipped in enough money to give himself three tries. All while mentally cursing himself for giving in and wasting his money on a claw machine. He leaned forward and studied the stuffed animal, trying to predict whether or not he could get it.

He wasted his first attempt and moved the claw to the center of the machine, and pressed the button. Shigaraki noticed the confused look on y/n's face. Shigaraki explained to her that he was testing the claw's bounce. He added that he was reasonably sure he could get the stuffed animal.

Shigaraki made a real attempt to get the plush on his second try. The stuffed animal slipped from the claw's grasp, not long after the base hit the top of the machine. On his final attempt, the stuffed animal fell just shy of the hole.

In the machine's reflection, he could see a disappointed look on y/n's face. Shigaraki rolled his eyes and put more money in the machine. Y/n was about to ask why he was going again, but Shigaraki stopped her, insisting that she was going to throw him off. After one final try for the stuffed f/a, Shigaraki finally got it. He watched as it slipped through the hole. He reached down and retrieved it for y/n.

Y/n took the stuffed animal from Shigaraki's hands and cuddled it in her arms. "I love it so much," she beamed at Shigaraki and thanked him for the stuffed animal.

"C' mon, let's go," Shigaraki said; "there's probably more you want to do." Y/n felt a small trace of guilt. Even if this whole thing was for her, she thought Shigaraki should have fun too.

This was the first time Shigaraki and y/n could hang out like ordinary people, and who knows if the opportunity would ever come up again. Y/n knew it was too loud and too busy for Shigaraki outside. The arcade was perfect, though.

The arcade was dark inside. From the door, y/n couldn't see anyone inside. Y/n shook her head and looked up at Shigaraki. "How about we stay in here for a little bit?" she asked. She explained that the hero patrolling outside made her nervous. She added that she'd rather stay inside the arcade than wander about outside and risk accidentally bumping into the hero again. She promised that she wanted to watch him play a few games before heading back into the festival.

Y/n stood close to Shigaraki's side and watched him play. As much as she hated to admit it, y/n was having a fun time with Shigaraki. If anyone told her months ago that she'd be enjoying the company of a villain, she would have called them ludicrous. Villain or not, he was acting less like a psychopath and more like an average guy. It pained her heart, knowing how much of an awful person he actually was.

She's been silently observing Shigaraki since she first met him, taking in everything from the way he acts and talks to his strange habits. Some people might say he was born crazy. Y/n didn't believe it. She was sure something terrible must have happened ages ago. If there were a way to use her quirk and remove whatever hurt him from his memories, she would. Y/n realized that desire straddled the line between charitable and selfish.

Her attention went back to the game Shigaraki was playing. He was talking about random facts and glitches as he played. He explained that he found arcade machines much more fun. When she asked why he went on a tangent about how arcade machines were meant to essentially steal cash, so they're more challenging than console versions. Shigaraki mocked people who didn't have the skill to keep up with their machine counterparts.

Y/n listened to Shigaraki talk carefully. The amount of video game trivia he knew was impressive. It made her happy hearing him being passionate about something that wasn't taking down society or killing whichever hero upset him most recently.

He was currently playing a fighting game. Shigaraki glanced over to y/n between rounds. "Hey, are you sure you have fun watching?" He explained that he couldn't wrap his head around it. "I don't think watching others play games is fun at all. I'd rather play them myself." Y/n nodded and promised that she was having a good time.

Shigaraki lost his last life just shy of the final boss. He groaned and placed more money into the machine. He side-eyed y/n as he pushed the big start button on his side of the device. "Whoops," Shigaraki said in a flat tone as he pushed the second start button. "Well, it looks like you have to play now," he said in a playfully innocent tone.

"Wait, what?" she asked. Shigaraki repeated himself. "Oh, but I've never played a video game before. I'm sure I'm not good at that sort of thing."

"If you've never tried, then you don't know. For all you know, you could be a pro at it," Shigaraki said as he took the joystick in his palm and hovered over several characters. Y/n reluctantly placed the stuffed animal on the ground, between the two of them. She took the joystick in her hand and skimmed over the character select screen.

Shigaraki selected his character and waited for either y/n to pick hers or for the timer to hit zero, whichever came first. The villain eyed a specific fighter that he was near confident she'd choose. It was one of the cutesy females with an animal companion. Sure enough, y/n chose that one.

Y/n and Shigaraki played a few rounds. She lost every single match. Well, she's certainly no video game prodigy, he remarked to himself. Shigaraki thought she'd be bad, but he didn't know she'd be this horrid. Y/n looked up at Shigaraki and asked to play one more time. She swore she was getting the hang of it. Doubt it. I could probably go afk and somehow win, Shigaraki thought. He decided to let y/n win this time.

Shigaraki tried to think of as many handicaps as he could think of. He decided to pick a character that he hadn't played nearly as often as the others. The villain considered playing with one hand, but he decided that would be too much. He needed to make it seem like she got lucky.

Losing on purpose was harder than he thought it would be. He accidentally won the first round, and now he had to figure out how he was going to lose two rounds in a row. Finally, y/n got her to win. "I did it!" she exclaimed with a big smile on her face. Shigaraki decided that he shouldn't tell her that he lost on purpose. Instead, he congratulated her.

Shigaraki picked up the stuffed animal carefully and handed it to her. She glanced at Shigaraki's hands. "Seems inconvenient, doesn't it?" Shigaraki asked what she meant. "Your quirk," she clarified.

"No, not really. I just need to be aware of my actions," Shigaraki answered. Y/n told him that she'd happily trade quirks with him if she could, y/n added that Shigaraki would probably get more mileage out of Liar than she does. Shigaraki wondered why she seemed to hate her quirk so much. "What's so bad about your quirk?" Shigaraki asked,

Her eyes met his. "Do you trust me?"

"You haven't given me a reason not to. As far as Kurogiri can confirm for me, you haven't lied to me." He paused and thought about it some more. "I think there's always going to be that shred of the doubt, though since you technically can't prove anything."

Y/n squeezed the plush animal in her arms. "That's what's wrong with my quirk."

Interesting. Shigaraki unintentionally struck that nerve several times beforehand. The villain finally managed to get her to open up to him. Now he understood why her quirk bothered her so much. Shigaraki assumed there was most likely a story behind it.

This was more ammo for him. If he could appeal to the side of y/n that assumed no one trusted her, then the rest of y/n would surely follow. "I'm sure there's more you want to do," Shigaraki said, changing the subject. Y/n nodded and followed Shigaraki out of the arcade.

It was dark outside by the time y/n and Shigaraki left the arcade. Y/n took Shigaraki's hand carefully. Shigaraki flinched. He gave her a random excuse as to why he was holding her hand, but y/n didn't provide him with one. "I think there's supposed to be a fireworks show soon," Shigaraki said, suddenly realizing how dark it had gotten. "I want to find an isolated place."

Shigaraki began to lead her out of the festival. Y/n stopped. "Oh, can you give me a few minutes? I'll be right back, I promise." Shigaraki almost instinctively pulled y/n back. Just because he was giving y/n a break from the hideout didn't mean she was allowed to just run away on him.

Shigaraki held himself back. He reminded himself that y/n appears to have trust issues, and he needed to appeal to that. Reluctantly, he allowed y/n to wander off. He watched y/n hurry off into the distance. He felt his skin crawl after a few minutes. He paced around in a circle and scratched at his neck as he waited.

The blue-haired villain tried to ease his mind. Shigaraki reminded himself that y/n was wearing her locket. That little button inside has two main features. The first is to alert her Nomu, and the second is a tracking device. If she ran away, he could easily hunt her down before she realized that the locket was giving away her location. He decided to give her five more minutes before following her locket's signal.

He saw y/n hurrying back. Y/n held onto the stuffed animal in her arm and a little box in her hands. "Sorry it took so long," she said; "I'm ready to go."

Shigaraki led her out of the festival. It got darker and darker as they walked. Y/n held onto Shigaraki's arm as he led her through the darkness. Shigaraki's senses were on high alert. The villain took a convoluted route. As y/n walked with him, he began to feel paranoid that she let that hero know about his presence. He mentally cursed himself for not following her in secret.

Shigaraki led her to a grassy hill. Y/n looked over and watched the festival lights glow down below. He took a quick look around before sitting down. Y/n sat down next to him. "So what's that? Shigaraki asked, pointing to the small box in her hand.

Y/n opened the box. It was filled with Takoyaki. "Well, neither of us have had anything to eat since we got here, and we have a bit of time 'til the fireworks show. Plus, I thought this would be a fun little game."

Shigaraki raised an eyebrow, y/n could see the suspicious look on his face. "Explain," he demanded. Y/n explained that one Takoyaki was explicitly made for the box. It was packed full of every spice the stall had. She added that she assumes that one Takoyaki probably tastes awful.

Y/n took a toothpick and stabbed a Takoyaki. She waved it in front of his face. "I have a good feeling about this one."

Shigaraki pushed her hand away. "You eat it then."

"No, this one is for you," she teased playfully.

"This game is rigged," he argued; "you obviously know which one it is." Shigaraki refused to be fooled by such a simple trick.

He saw y/n shake her head. "No, I don't."

Shiagraki's eyes narrowed. "I doubt that," he muttered.

A sly smile crossed y/n's lips. "If I were lying, you wouldn't have second-guessed it."

Shigaraki thought about it. That was true. Her quirk should have activated, and he wouldn't have doubted her. "Okay, fine." He bit the Takoyaki and pulled it off the toothpick. "Your instincts suck," he taunted as he chewed.

"Darn, I thought I had you," she said with a small sigh. She began to stab at another Takoyaki for herself.

Shigaraki grabbed her wrist. "That's cheating. Since when do you get to pick two in a row?" He took the little toothpick from her hand and picked out another one. The one Shigaraki picked out was shaped differently from the others.

Y/n gave Shigaraki a friendly look. She pulled back her hair with her hands and took the Takoyaki without hesitating. "Whose instincts suck now?" she playfully taunted.

"Yeah, yeah. Whatever," Shigaraki shrugged it off. "It's your turn."

One by one, the pair continued their game of Takoyaki Roulette. While the two of them played, Shigaraki thought this would be an excellent time to ask about her. He found that he was running out of things to talk to her about at the hideout. He had virtually nothing to say to her if she didn't read as much. Earlier, while y/n slept. He tried retrieving those flowers the hero bought her. They were long dead, so Kurogiri couldn't identify them for him.

Y/n took Shigaraki's Takoyaki. "My favorite kind of flower?" she asked. She finished eating the Takoyaki, and her eyes scanned the remaining octopus balls. "F/f." She looked up at Shigaraki. "Do you have one?"

Shigaraki scoffed. "No, of course not. Don't be ridiculous." Y/n smiled at him and apologized for asking before waving her Takoyaki in his face. Shigaraki ate her pick. While he ate, he tried to think of another thing to ask about. It was hard for him to think of things because he hates so many things.

They made it round six, and over half the Takoyaki was gone. Y/n took Shigaraki's pick and bit down onto it. "Ahh," she whined, frantically looking around for a place to spit it out.

Shigaraki wrapped an arm around her shoulders and covered her mouth. "No spitting it out. That's cheating too." Y/n groaned. "Don't whine to me. This was your idea."

Y/n forced the tainted Takoyaki down her throat and pulled herself out of Shigaraki's hands. "Why didn't I buy a drink?" she lamented quietly to herself. Before y/n could say any more, the sky lit up, and the crackle of fireworks filled the air.

Y/n placed the box of Takoyaki down between her and Shigaraki and placing the stuffed animal on her lap. She wrapped her arms around the plush toy and rested her head on it as she watched the bursts of color light up the night sky.

Shigaraki examined the look of wonder in y/n's face. He rolled his eyes, the fireworks were nothing special. Shigaraki spoke up. "Don't I deserve a prize for winning?"

Y/n looked back to the villain. "Don't I get one for beating you that one round at the arcade?"

Shigaraki fought the urge to tell her he lost on purpose. "I won all the other rounds," he shot back.

Y/n smiled at him. "Touché."

Shigaraki paused and thought about it. "But if you did get something for winning. What would you want?"

Y/n let out a small hum and pondered Shigaraki's question. "Maybe..." her voice trailed off in thought. "I'd ask to call you Tomura, I think."

"Really?" he asked. That didn't sound like much of a prize. Himiko has been doing that since she met him. "If that's what you want, then I guess that's fine." Y/n smiled back at him and repeated his question. "What I'd want?" Shigaraki was silent for a long while. Y/n had given up waiting for his answer and was now watching the fireworks light up the night sky. "I can't decide."

Y/n hummed. She nudged herself closer to him and rested her head on his shoulder. "Let me know if something comes to mind."

Shigaraki felt his stomach knot up. He guessed something in that Takoyaki might have made him feel nauseous. Shigaraki sat motionless, not wanting y/n to move her head. As the fireworks show continued on, his nausea became more and more unbearable by the minute.

The villain looked down at y/n. He's always taken to watching her when she's not looking. He considered himself as her mentor in a way. Right now, she was a little seedling that didn't know a thing about villains. Someday, he hoped that she'd bloom into a beautiful villain.

Beyond growing nausea, Shigaraki felt warm inside, but he also felt pain. Like someone had dug their hands into his chest and was squeezing at his heart. Shigaraki couldn't figure out what emotion this squeezing feeling is supposed to be.

Pride? He guessed to himself. Shigaraki wondered if he gave his mentor the same feeling when he was still learning as well.

Art Corner #1:

I figured I can start slowly dripping the art back into the story right about now and this one seemed appropriate for the chapter.

Thank you to neontube for drawing this super adorable picture underneath as well as the cute little picture up top! Trying to draw a more or less anonymous character is super hard but I really think this turned out so well! 💕💕

I don't think anything I write deserves art, but it makes me super happy whenever I end up getting some~ 💘

❣Please go give the artist some love.❣
