"We start now." I told Alec.

He was looking up at me with tears in the corners of his eyes.

"We will don't worry, Alec."

Honestly, I felt as this was a lie. I have no idea where this killer can be hiding and where we have to look. All we can do is trace it back to Alec's house to look for clues. Hopefully we can find some evidence that leads back to the murder of is mother. He stood up and we walked over to his house. As we started walking, I could feel his hand coming in contact with mine.

Alec brought his hand closer and held my hand. I stared into his eyes, they were deep and soulful. We got to his house and went to the room where his mother was killed. This was the only part of the house that was closed off. Alec unlocked the door and we walked in. The room smelled of tears and blood with the faint scent of his mother's perfume. I looked around the room, it was just like the memory, especially the window. This was the thing I remembered the most.

"That's the window," I said as I pointed it out to Alec.

Walking over to the window, trying to find something of evidence, luckily, there was.

"Alec! I found something!" I yelled to Alec as he ran over.

It was a business card with an address on it. The business card was for the Black Diamonds, with my address on it in my father's handwriting. My face went pale as I saw it, my father was the head of the Black Diamonds. Which makes Liv my step- sister. I couldn't believe my eyes, my own father was trying to kill or capture his own daughter while using the other one for assassinating.

"Alec, I know who the killer is."

"Who is it?"

"My father... He is the head of the Black Diamonds and Liv is my step- sister. I don't get it. No one knew about my power, why is he trying to kill me?"

"Maybe it isn't your father, maybe it is his wife."

"She doesn't know my address. Wait, that can be why he stopped by my house. He had something to do and thought we weren't home, so he covered it up as 'forgetting something.' This was all part of his plan." I said.

Things all started to align, he was the biggest threat. That is why they always knew where I was because my father was keeping it that way.

"How do you know that Liv is your step-sister?"

"From what I learned, Liv was the daughter of the owner of the organisation. That means the woman my father is living with had a child with him. Liv is about my age, maybe a year or two younger. So, he had a child when I was still a baby."

"Do you think he knew about your power before anyone? Maybe that is why he had a child with another woman, to make sure he has someone to use for his dirty work." said Alec.

That made sense, if he is trying to kill me, there has to be someone to do it with him. The only thing I question is, did he know about my power? Was there a way he found out? Did he become jealous of my ability?

"We need to find my father and take him down. I always knew he didn't love me and that was because he had a stone cold heart. To try to kill his own child, is absurd, so we kill him instead."

I was letting Ian know about what we were doing as he took care of Rosy and Max. Right now, we are heading to my house, hopefully finding something that my dad has hid from me. We will check his room first to see if there was anything in there. Alec and I went inside of the house, inside of my father's room. There was nothing there, but a bed and a desk.

"Aleah, I don't see anything. Are you sure that he is the guy we are looking for."

"Yes, I know for sure."

I leaned against the wall to think but, it wasn't a wall. The wall spun completely around showing a hidden room in the back.

"What the heck is this?"

The room was dark with brick walls and a candle in the middle. There was an oak desk in the middle and a bulletin board with sightings of me from the time my mom died.

"Woah, this place is creepy," Alec whispered.

"I know. Like I never knew this was here when he was living with us."

"We should head out now." Alec told me.

Heading out of the room, I saw my father standing outside. It was like my soul left my body.

"Hello Aleah, it's been a while. Nice to see you here."
