"What do you mean, Aleah?" Ella asked.

"It might seem impossible, but it is not. She might even be more powerful than me."

"Liv cannot be stronger than you, she just has more practice than you. Your powers are supposed to come in slower than hers. Since you have more that comes with them. You need control of you power."

"But, I don't know how!" I yelled.

All I could think about was Alec. I saw him as him. His voice was the same tone, but the evil was filling up in his eyes. Liv can be mentally killing him and I don't even know.

He could be fighting for control, but he cannot win against her.

Especially because he is a mortal.

"Aleah. You have unlocked so much right now. It may seem as if you don't know what you are doing, but you do. You just don't realize it yet. Trust me it will get easier. All you need to do is be strong, everything will work out in the end." Ella said calmly.

Ella is better at being fearless than I am. Why couldn't she be the one with my power? She would be the best warrior.

I'm just a helpless girl with a stupid power that I don't even know how to use.

"Everyone says that. But, nothing ends out the way I want. If it did I wouldn't have powers, my family wouldn't have broken up, my mom wouldn't have been killed, and Alec wouldn't be taken control of!" I stuttered.

I could feel the tears forming in the corners of my eyes. My hands trembled. I felt as if I was going to collapse. Falling to the floor, tears spilled out of my face.

I honestly don't know who I am anymore. Am I a warrior? Am I not meant to be in this world?

Ian came over and put his hand over my shoulder. With his other hand he began to wipe the tears off my face. I looked up at him.

He picked up my head and placed his hand on my chin.

Ian then leaned in and kissed me.

Then Ian whispered in my ear, "I'll make sure everything is okay. Don't worry."

My breathing went to my normal pace.

I started to calm down. Standing up, I wiped my tears, that were still rolling down my face, off. Taking a deep breath of air, I knew I have to make a plan.

I cannot win this time without coming up with something. She gets stronger by the day, feeding off of the fear that we give her.

The only problem is, I don't know how to stop her.

The power that Ian and I used together should have been enough to kill her, but for some reason it didn't. It killed my father, just not her.

"We need to stop her."

I looked into the Lab. I saw my sister laying there in a deadly matter, yet not dead enough.

"Aleah, I'm sorry to say, but we can't. If we wake her up, there is no telling what she can do. All we know is we won't be able to get her back into this state."

"Are you saying what I think you are saying?" I questioned.

"What I am saying is we cannot bring Alec back. While she is in control of him, her powers are gone. She is not a threat."

"This can't be the end, Ella. Alec is part of my life long identity. WIthout him it is like half of me is missing. You don't understand. There has to be something, ANYTHING!" I pleaded.

"It's impossible, Aleah. Alec cannot be saved and that is it."

My heart dropped to my feet. This feeling was like I just lost myself. Like I am no one anymore.

He used to always catch me when I fell, but now there is no one who can catch me. It is as I am falling down a deeper and deeper hole forever.

I may not like him romantically, but I still need him.

"He can be saved! I know it! Even if it kills me in the process, I will know that I saved him! If I don't I will spend the rest of my life waiting for him."

"Aleah, just listen to Ella," Ian put his hand on my shoulder, "She knows what to do."

I ripped his hand off my shoulder and told him, "She may know everything in the books, but I know hope. And that's the strongest knowing in the world."

Picking up my backpack, I threw it on my back and ran off. Running up the stairs, I didn't stop for anything. Even for Ian. I did not stop.

"ALEAH! DON'T GO! COME BACK!"

I continued. Hopefully after this, I can go back home.

That is only if I survive.
