Alex

Surprisingly mutchell and blake got along pretty well with each other. My family and friends totally love mitchell. And when i announced that mitxhell and i were going to a honeymoon this coming week; everybody was surprised yet happy. Mitchell however, blushed bright red at my words as i smirked at her from across the table.

I felt arms go around my shoulder and i smiled as i kissed her arm.

"Thank you," mitchell said softly.
"For what?" I asked, tilting my head up so i looked at her upside down.

I was currently sitting on the couch and mitchell was behind me.

"For yesterday. I didn't know you dont like surprises. Trish told me," mitchell said.
"Well i liked this surprise though," i smiled up at her.
"Really?" Her bright brown eyes lit up in happiness.

Her gorgeous lips pulled into a smile at my words. I couldnt help but steal a kiss.

"Hey!" Mitch protested causing me to laugh.
"You know i have a totally different idea for today," i said, rubbing her arms.
"What?" She asked.
"We will spend this day together. Just the two of us," i said.
"And what would we do?" She asked.
"This," i said, as i leaned towards her and kissed her deeply.

Mitchell sighed and pressed her succulent lips to mine. We pulled apart after thr kiss breathing heavily.

"You know i do have to get the laundry done," she said.
"You do all the housework. I want some time to myself," i said.
"You are greedy," she laughed.
"Yeah for you," i said, smirking.

Mitchell blushed a scarlet red as my smirk widened. Our moment however was ruined by the ringing of the doorbell. I groaned as a scowl appeared on my face. Who the hell ruined our moment?

Mitchwll walked towards the door as i slumped on the couch.

"Alex you are needed here," mitch called.

Walking to the door i growled as i saw who it was.

"You are not wanted here," i sneered.
"I know you don't want to see me," dad said.
"That's an understatement," i scoffed.
"I will not come into your life alex if you just listen yo me," he said.
"Now what story do you have to win me over?" I sxoffed.
"I was trying to fix my life," he said
"Yeah right. Like how you tried fixing mine," i rolled my eyes.
"I gave your examplr to everyone boy," he said.
"So? What good did it do to me?" I asked.
"What i am trying to say is that i remembered you alex. Life is one hell of a fast track," he said.
"You font know how much i went through," i glared at him.

Mitch placed a comforting hanf on my arm.

"Can we start over?" He asked, rubbing a hand through his hair.
"Start over when you werent a part of my childhood? No. Mom was the orn who always looked after me. Even Henry was a good enough dad to me despite me despising him," i said.
"I had to hold myself up alex. Both financially and emotionally," he said.
"So? Mom had to hold herself up as well. But she didnt abandon me like you did," i said.
"You are not going to relent are you?" He asked.
"This is something i cant seem to forget," i shopk my head.
"Well in case you decided to forgive me come see me. I wont hold back to give you your righrs though considering you are my biplogical son," dad said.
"I dont need anything from you. I am a painter and i plan to keep my degree," i said.

Dad sighed and turned around to leave closing the door behind him softly. I sighed and tan a hand through my hair.

"Why don't you forgive him?" Mitch asked softly.
"I went through a lot in school mitch. Just because i didnt have my dad. Before mom married henry," i said.

Mitchell

I dont know how to feel about all this. I was the child who always haf a dad by her side. You could say that i was a daddy's princess. Always getting what i wanted. But i can sympathesize with alex though. Make him feel better.

"All right. Don't stress out please," i said.
"How did i get so lucky with you?" Alex asked.

He had turned around so the two of us were facing each other. I blushed at his question.

"I could say the same thing about you," i smiled shyly ay him.
"Rhank you," he said, resting his forehead against mine.
"For what?" I asked.
"For being there with me," alex said.

I smiled as i loked into his soft eyes. I had come to loce alex. I really did. He was what i had missed with sam. Being whole. Being safe. Being loved. I might not have been on the same page with alex but he is my husband after all.

"I got a surprise for you," alex smiled.
"What?" I asked curious.
"Stay here while i get it from our room," he said, tweaking my nose.

I watched him walk away curiously waiting impatiently for him to ckme back. When alex came back he had a smile on his face which made me more curious. What coukd it be?

"Ta-da!" Alex held out two papers.

Taking them from him i opened up those papers and gasped as my eyes widened in surprise. I looked up at alex and then back down again.

"Do you like this?" Alex asked tentatively.
"Like this? I love it!" I squealed, throwing my arms around him.

The tickets were to a honeymoon trip for one month to miami. Gosh! Alex laughed as he wrapped his arms around me.

"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" I exclaimed.
"I am glad you liked it," alex said, as he kissed my temple.
"Now i am thinking we were meant to be together," i smiled at him.
"There's something i want to say," alex said, as he stared into my eyes with nervousness.
"What is it?" I asked, worried.
"Um- i huh- i-

Alex stammered as he looked at me.

"Everything all right alrx?" I asked, getting really worried.

It wasn't like him to be the stammering kind.

"I love you," alex breathed out, not breaking our eye contact.

My eyes widened agaim as a blush deeper than before made its way to my cheeks. But at the same time i couldnt stop smiling with happiness. He loved me! Alrx loved me!

"I love you too," i said shyly.

Alex smiled back and taking me in his arms again kissed the livinh lights out of me.
