serenity schreave was born on june 20th, the first day of summer. it was a bright day when her mother gave birth to their first daughter. especially for her mother, longing for a daughter after she already put her son on this world. her parents gave her a positive name: serenity. after her, her younger sister had been born. she grew up in a peaceful and lovely household. she and her family always cared and loved for each other. there were a lot of strict rules and pressures in the royal household, but her parents made sure their was a lovable atmosphere. the queen thought her daughters to be elegant, friendly and well behaved, letting the big decisions up the men. however, serenity has always been the rebel in the family, protesting against this image of men and women in society. her mother, the queen, couldn't help it and supported and agreed with serenity on this. serenity loves her family and would do anything for them.

a couple of years ago she met andrew darren, the duke of darren, living in the north of illea, with a big house surrounded by greens and flowers. her mother always thought her to marry out of love, but serenity knew better. she wanted to marry for the sake of her family, to make their royal power bigger and stronger. especially with the connections of one of the richest man in illea. it wasn't love at first, it was just a little friendship. after a couple of meetings at the balls in the palace, sneaky trips to the garden and long talks, he asked her to marry her. she said yes, he was nice, a bit strict and aloof, but nice. she was a really young girl than, only eighteen years old, very naive to love and marriage. she thought that she would never meet a nice ánd rich man again, whom she could have intelligent conversations with and strengthen the kings power. after a couple of months, she moved in his house after their marriage. it was far away from angeles, from the palace she grew up in. even thought the walls of the palace felt like a cage sometimes she missed it. she missed the warm and lovable atmosphere and her family. andrew and serenity were friends, he cared for her as a friend. however, serenity grew feelings for him in their first year of marriage. after a year, they barely saw each other anymore. andrew spend all his time in his office and serenity was outside or in her room. she had the maids and servants as her company.
serenity never said much about her marriage to others or her family, more that is was okay and that he was nice. she mostly talked about the beautiful house, the big garden and her green and white master bedroom she had for herself. she loved the house, but missed the warmth of her family and the laughter between the halls. she hated herself for thinking she could marry a man who didn't love her, and never would.

the only reason why andrew married serenity was because her royal status. she was a princess. he wanted heirs. he needed an heir for the sake of the darren family name. sadly, she never gave him a son or daughter. it changed the man, he became more and more distant. he even got ill. his health was doing so bad that he even died from it. there was no medicine to save him. no doctor that could help him.
serenity needed a couple months to get to grieve, to get to know herself again, to find herself again. the duke house changed her, but she wasn't ready to leave yet. she stayed at the house, started doing hobbies her parents would never agree on and slowly healed.
she is doing much better now. somehow she is happy that her husband isn't there anymore, so she can follow her dreams now. her own ones. her time with the duke wasn't always sunshine and rainbows. even though she fell in love with him the first year of their marriage, she quickly fell out of love the second year, because he didn't always treated her good. she finds it hard to love again, to open up for love, but her mother insisted she joined the selection, to find real love this time.

she started her passion for gardening during her period of grieve. she spends her days in the sunlight in the garden, to grow whatever she likes, but especially flowers or vegetables. she isn't the type of girl to let her maids do it , she loves to do it herself. however, back at the palace, her parents would kill her if she started gardening again. it became her secret hobby.

watching paintings and sculptures ,,
she loves to see art works and get to know the story behind a piece. some even make her cry a little, but she loves to spends hours at galleries, just watching.

she has an angelic voice and loves to sing. she adores music, especially when she can make her own with her voice, enjoying the echo's of her voice in the ballroom at home were she sings most of the time. if she isn't singing, she is humming her favorite songs.

she loves to see a band play before her eyes and listen to the amazing, incredible music they produce. she adores jazz and classic music, with a lot of instruments or a fun beat. her favorite instrument is the piano.
