Julie's POV

"breakfast's ready" I shout to Faith hearing her come down the stairs towards the kitchen "I'm not hungry" she mutters making herself some coffee "you have to eat something, I heard you up all night throwing up and you can't go to school on an empty stomach. You could pass out or something"

"why are trying to act like the caring and concerned mother all of a sudden?" She scoffs "and for the record I haven't been going to school and have been doing my classes online"

"why?" I frown confused "because ever since people saw that photo in the paper of me and Michael going into the studio and they found out I was on one of his tracks, I've had nothing but fake ass people coming over to me trying to be my friend"

"well you only have yourself to blame for that. anyone that's near Michael is always going to have a shitty life and won't be able to do everything normal people do. Just be grateful they don't know about the other stuff" I shrug "grateful for what!? You almost getting somebody arrested for doing nothing wrong!? and I didn't have a shitty life with Michael. In fact I had a very happy and normal life until you ruined everything" she frowns sitting at the table. "I didn't ruin anything. All I did was save your reputation and stopped everybody finding out what sick little freaks you both our and the disgusting the the two you were.."

"no we're not!" And there was nothing wrong or disgusting about what we were doing and..."

"so why he dump you huh?" I cut her off "because he knew full well it was wrong what the two of you were doing and would go to jail and he didn't want all this to ruin his squeaky clean reputation. You claim your both in love and don't care about your reputation or what anybody thinks, yet when it came down to people finding out Michael quickly dumped you and swears nothing happened. Sounds like he really loved you" I shrug. She doesn't say anything and gets up and storms out of the room. "he was just using you for sex Faith, the sooner you realise that the better!" I yell to her and I hear the front door slam behind her.

Faith has been back a week now and she's had an even bigger attitude than she had before she left, but I'm not too interested in that. Faith's home now and she will get over what happened eventually. The main thing is, now Faith's back home and done some little cameos on my show for me. My rating have quickly gone back up and so has the paychecks and job offers!

Michael's POV

I've been staying at my mothers house all week because I still can't face going home. Ever since Faith left, the house no longer feels like a home anymore and once again feels empty without her. I've cried myself to sleep every night since I got here thinking about her and I feel so alone and empty not being able to hold her in my arms as I sleep or wake up every morning to her beautiful smile.

I'm in my room just laying on my bed and Janet comes in. "c'mon you need to get up and get yourself together" she says softly coming over to me "she probably hates me now" I sniffle. "she doesn't hate you, you didn't have a choice and she knows that and she knows you still love her just like she still loves you"

"yes I did! I could have said no and..."

"and gone to jail" she cuts me off "if you have gotten locked up then she would have hated and blamed herself"

"but it wasn't her fault, she didn't do anything wrong and..."

"and neither did you. You had no choice but to go along with Julie's demands and it's not like your never gonna see her again"

"but I need her here" I croak and begin sobbing. "it's not the same without her. I'm nothing without her. The house isn't the same without her there smiling and joking around with everybody and at the studio I keep looking at the door when it opens hoping to see her come in, but she doesn't and she lay and cuddle with me at night or kiss me in the morning or..."

"Michael, you need to pull yourself together. And like I said. It's not like your never gonna see her again because you will and it's hard now, but you'll get through this and you can have all that again" she smiles at me through pursed lips and pulls me in for a hug and I hug her back tighter and she pulls away "now get up and get dressed an clean yourself up" she says and I nod and smile at her through pursed lips.

Jackie's POV

I hated seeing Michael and Faith heartbroken yet again and yet again because of something I've said and it feels like every time it's always me that ends up breaking Faith's heart. I didn't want to have to tell Michael to go along with Julie's demands or tell Faith, but I had no choice. Because yet again Julie left it down to me to tell them both.

Before all this happened, Faith and I had been getting along great and really starting to bond and would even call each other practically everyday, even if it was for no reason but to ask how the other was doing and those little things like when the whole family would gather at my mothers for Sunday dinner and she'd be goofing around is all the stuff I missed while she was growing up and now I finally have that there's no way I'm gonna let my daughter go again

"I have to say it is unusual for this kind of request especially since your daughter will be 18 and legally and adult at the end of the year" the lawyer says sitting on the sofa as I hand him a cup of coffee and sit on the chair opposite. "but can it be done?" I ask and he nods "since your daughter is 17 and legally classed as a minor, you can file for legal custody, but like I said..."

"I know what you said, but I don't wanna go into all that. I just want to know if it can be done and how I do it?" I cut him off, not going into detail. "well since your not on her birth certificate you'd need a DNA test to prove she is your biological child and because Faith is at an age that she can make a mature decision. When you file for custody she has the right to choose which parent she lives with"

"and if she says me, then what?"

"If you pass all the requirements and Faith says she wants to live with you, then you will automatically be granted custody, but like I said you will need a DNA test first.... Is that ok with you?"

"absolutely!" Faith smiles "and you understand everything I've just said?" He asks and she nods.

We discuss a few more things and he lets me know he'll be in contact with me in a few days once all the paperwork and stuff is sorted and I thank him and show him out.

Faith's POV

Jackie shows the lawyer out and as soon he closes the door behind him, Michael pulls me close and kisses me softly "I've missed you so much" he mumbles onto my lips "I've missed you too"

"I'm so sorry you have to do this I swear didn't wanna..."

"it ok" I cut him off seeing him getting upset and he shakes his head "no it's not. I hate this. I hate not being able to see you everyday and hate having to sneak around like this and..."

I press my lips softly against his cutting him off and he sighs contently "it's gonna be ok" I smile onto his lips "you know I love you and I'd never leave you right?" He says and I nod "I love you too"

"I can't wait till this is all over" he smiles leaning on to kiss me "Jeez, put her down already" Jackie chuckles walking back into the room "never gonna happen" Michael smiles pulling me in tighter and Jackie sits on the chair opposite us and leans forward taking a more serious tone. "now the lawyers gone I wanna talk you guys. You both know that once this goes ahead there's a huge chance the media will find out which changes alot of things?"

"not for us" Michael shakes his head. "we're still gonna go public once Faith's 18"

"you still gonna go public if everybody finds out I'm Faith's dad?" He looks at him surprised and he nods. "and you both realise that could be a problem? Not everybody is going to be accepting. I wasn't and your both gonna get alot of backlash and nasty things said and..."

"and I'm used to people talking shit about me anyway so what difference does it make? All the nasty comments and people saying it's weird and all that crap some people will say is pretty much the same bullshit they always say, but just a new topic" Michael shrugs. "you maybe used to it, but what about you?" Jackie turns to me "you didn't handle it to well when your mom made up that story about your drinking, how are you gonna be when it's every paper, every news outlet and..."

"and we know all that and we're prepared for it" I shrug cutting him off. I know it's going to be hard when Michael and I go public especially if people find out about Jackie and some people are going to say we weird or disgusting and what ever nasty comments they can think of, but we've had to listen to those same comments off the people we live and care about already so hearing it from people we don't know doesn't really upset me as much.

"well nobody in this family is going to mention me being your dad unless you say other wise" Jackie says "and that goes for us too. I won't say anything until your ok with it and tell me that. Nobody's gonna put any pressure on you. I'll wait until your ready" Michael cuts in. "I think we should just concentrate on one thing at a time and not all at once" I smile through pursed lips and him he nods smiling back the same way. "well let's work on the good one first" Jackie smiles "once we get all this lawyer crap out of the way you two can quit moping around pining for each other and get back to normal"

Jackie's POV

I've never agreed with the two of them being together and still don't, but it's clear they love each other and the fact their both willing to put themselves out there and risk their reputation shows me that what they have is serious. Michael was even willing to go to jail for Faith and she's gone back to Julie to save him from that. Even though this is only a temporary thing and pretty soon they'll be back to living together, when I suggested this to them they were both heartbroken at the thought of being away from each other and were both willing to put their own happiness aside to help the other one and that just proves to me just how much they truly so love each other and even though I don't agree with the relationship, nothing me or anybody else says or do's is going to make them feel any different or break them apart which is why I've began to try and accept it and accept the two of them together.

I know it sounds strange I don't agree with them together but accept them and am helping them be together. But breaking their hearts by keeping them apart kills me.

Julie's POV

It's 11:30pm and Faith still isn't picking up her phone. I'm about to try again, but she finally walks in just as I'm about to "where the hell have you been!? I've been trying to call you for the past three hours"

"I've been out and I know you called. I just didn't pick up" she shrugs. "well you were supposed to be doing an interview this afternoon and I got a call saying you didn't show!"

"sorry I forgot"

"have you been with Michael?" I frown "Faith, I swear if you've seen or had any contact with.. "

"why would I wanna speak to a guy that dumped me and made it pretty clear he was just using me and stringing me along?" She cuts me off and I look at her skeptically. "then let me see your phone"

"whatever" she shrugs and I look through the whole thing. Messaged, calls, photos, video the lot. "find anything interesting yet?" Faith says sarcastically and I hand her the phone back seeing she's telling the truth. "well if I found out your still seeing him I..."

"well I'm not sooo... Whatever" she shrugs and heads upstairs to her room, with her usual bratty attitude.

Faith's POV

When I get to my room I lock the door and put my phone on my bedside table then move my mattress and take out the new phone Jackie gave me and switch it on and I smile seeing I have a message from Michael.

From: Michael

Miss you so much already xxxx

I smile to myself seeing that the message was sent at the time I was leaving Kathrine's house where Michael is staying.

From: Faith

Miss you more xxxx

I keep my phone on vibrate so my mother doesn't here any messages coming though and continue texting with Michael for most of the night.
