Michael's POV

After what happened the other week with her grandma, Faith has been really quiet on the subject. She still has spoken about it or spoken to Julie and I've tried to bring it up, but everytime I try she quickly changes the subject and acts like it doesn't bother her, but I can see it clearly does so I've stopped trying to force her into speaking about it and decided to just wait until she's ready and just been spending as much time as possible with her and Precious. I still have to go to the studio alot, but I've been making sure to take one or two days off each week so she doesn't feel like I'm neglecting her and Precious

"Lou Lou!" Precious squeals excitedly opening her arms out for Louie as I bring him over to her and Faith. "Now be very gentle" I smile as she stretches her little arms out to pet him and Louie walks closer towards her, loving all the attention he's getting from the girls.

After playing with Louie for awhile, we decided to have a little picnic on the grass since it's such a nice day today and so far our day has been really relax and happy.

The three of us are sitting playing on the grass and Ava one of my housekeepers comes outside and hands me a letter. "What's this?" I ask taking it from her and she shrugs. "Came in the mail and said it was important" she says uninterested in talking to me and walks away without saying another word.

"She is so rude. Why the hell did you hire her?" Faith frowns looking back as she walks into the house. "Would you rather you spent the whole day doing all the housework?" I raise an eyebrow. "No, but I'd rather you hired someone that wasn't a bitch"

"I'll talk to her" I sigh, opening the letter. I can't stand Ava either, but I feel bad about firing someone that's a single mother which is why I've kept her around, but she's really been pissing Faith off lately so if she doesn't fix her attitude fast I may have to fire her.

"What is it?" Faith asks talking about the letter and I start reading it "it's from our lawyer" I frown confused. "It says your mom's not trying to get custody any more and dropping all the charges against us and Jackie"

"Are you serious!?" She widens her eyes confused, taking the letter from me. "Why would she do that?" I frown confused "this has to be a mistake. She'd never just drop something like this" she shakes her head unconvinced. "I'll call are lawyer and find out what's going on"

"What did he say?" Faith asks when I get off the phone to Darryl our lawyer. "He said she just dropped the the charges and the custody case, but didn't give any reason" I explain, still confused by all of this. "Maybe we should call her and find out what's going on" I suggest and she shakes her head. "I don't wanna talk to her"

"Faith, I know your still worried after everything that's happened, but you can't just hide away from everybody again" I say softly and she doesn't answer me. "It's ok I'm not gonna let anything happen to you" I say softly seeing the worry in her face and she doesn't say anything for a moment then nods.

Julie's POV

I'm at home baking some cookies and I get a phone call from Michael.

"Hey!" Smile down the phone. "Did you get any letters in the mail today? You should get one soon from your law..."

"Yeah, we got it" He cuts me off. "Why would you do that?" He asks confused. "Because it was the right thing to do" I explain "how's Faith doing? Getting close to her due date soon?" I smile down the phone. "Um... yeah, their fine" he says confused "Why would drop all those charges and..."

"I told you" I cut him off "how about I come over and we can talk a little better?"

"Um... i'm sure that's such a good idea"

"I know me and you haven't always gotten along, but I would like to get to know you a little better. We are family now after all"

"Umm..."

"Why don't you guys come over and we can all talk about everything a little better?" I suggest and he doesn't say anything and I can here him and Faith mutter something in the back ground then he comes back on the phone. "We'd prefer it if you come here" he says, still unsure and I agree. "Ok. I'll be over soon" I smile down the phone then get back to finishing my cookies before making my way over.

Michael's POV

It's been an hour and eventually Julie arrives at our house. "Hey! Sorry I took so long. I was in the middle of baking when you called me. I brought some over for you guys" she smiles handing them to Faith and she looks at her nervously, not taking them from her. "I'll leave them here for later" Julie smiles and puts them on the counter. "So, how are you all doing?"

"Why are you acting all nice to us?" Faith asks getting straight to the point an Julie sighs contently an takes a seat in the living room and Faith and I sit on the sofa across from her. "It's pretty clear how much you two love Precious and the kind of parents you are. Loving, caring and would do anything to keep her safe. The way I should have been with you" she turns to Faith. "I kept telling myself I was doing the right thing keeping you away from the rest of your family, not just on my side, but from the Jackson's too and from your real father, but I wasn't. I was just being selfish and spiteful towards your Father for not loving me, but I ended up punishing and hurting you instead. Just like I did with you" she turns to me "Just like it  would be selfish and spiteful of me, if I was to take Precious away from you both. Your her parents, not me and Jackie. We were just there to help you"

"So your just gonna let it go just like that?" I say skeptically "it wasn't an easy decision to make, but it's the right one and I know that now and I know I've treated you both badly in the past and haven't exactly been understanding about the two of you and of your love for each other in the past, but I wanna change that and start again"

"Where's all this coming from?" Faith asks skeptically and Julie sighs contently. "When I was in... that place. I got alot of help from God. He helped me see my ways"

"God helped you see your ways?" Faith raises an eyebrow "mhm... I was so angry at the world and he helped me through that and he helped me understand. I was mad and hurt at first, but in a away. Going to jail was probably the best thing that could have happened to me... because I found God and he spoke to me... every day and night" she smiles.

"Can they arrest God?" Faith looks at me confused and I shrug, getting even more confused.

"He wasn't in prison in that way" Julie chuckles slightly. "He was in my heart" she smiles and neither of us say anything getting a little freaked out by her. '

After a few more minutes of talking Julie starts getting ready to leave "I should probably be going now. I have an interview to get to soon" she smiles getting up from her seat and turns to leaves then stops and turns back "I um... I understand if you say no, but I was wondering if I could see Precious. The way Jackie does?" She asks "Umm..." I mumble unsure what to say and she smiles at me through pursed lips and nods. "I understand, but would you at least think about it? I'd really like to get to know my.... " She pauses then smiles at us "My grandaughter and hopefully get to know you too" she turns to me. "You don't have to give me an answer right now, but please say you'll think about it" she asks and I nod, not saying anything.

"Do you think she's on drugs?" I turn to Faith after Julie leaves. "Either that or she's gone crazy... like her" she mumbles that last part. "You know her trails coming up soon and..."

"I should probably start fixing Precious something to eat. You know how hungry she gets after her nap" she cuts me off and walks into the kitchen and I follow behind her.

"It's ok to talk about it" I say softly "I know" she says throwing the cookies Julie brought over into the trash then turns to me and smiles and wraps her arms around my neck "we were having such a great day before all this. Why spoil it?" She says then kisses me softly then breaks away and turns to start making Precious something to eat.

Julie's POV

It was really hard for me to say those things to Michael and Faith and I could see they were really confused, which is understandable and that's why I decided to leave when I did so they could clear their heads and to let them talk privately about what I said.

I have an interview with Sarah old friend of mine and I'm feeling a little nervous about it which is kind of strange since I've been doing interviews since I was a teenager, but maybe it's just because I've been out of the spotlight for so long.

"Julie! It's great to see you again" Sarah smiles walking into my dressingroom and I smile back, giving her a hug. "It's great to see you again too"

"Are you ready for our interview?" She asks and I nod. "I've been waiting to do this for so long. Where have you been? We were supposed to do this months ago"

"I just had alot work and stuff" I lie and she nods understandably.  "Well let's get started. I can't wait to see the public's reaction when we finally bring Faith and Michael down" she smiles and I smile back and follow her out of the room to start the interview.

Jackie's POV

I decided to go and visit Faith and Michael today and when I got there the two of them tell me what happened with Julie and they both seem really freaked out by the things she was saying to them.

"She's up to something. I know she is" Faith says nervously "we don't know that for sure" I say softly and Michael shakes his head. "Why else would she do that? After everything we did, she's just gonna walk away and forget it ever happened!?"

"She was acting like nothing ever happend and even brought cookies! She never bakes. She probably poisoned them" Faith cuts it and I can see the worry on her face. "I don't think she would try and poison you"

"Why else would she bring them and act all nice about wanting see visit Precious from time to time and get to know me! She hates me. Either she's up to something or she's gone bat shit crazy like Emily did" Michael says just as worried as Faith.

"Where is she now? I'll go talk to her and try and figure out what's going on" I sigh heavily "She said she had an interview and.... oh shit!" Michael sighs heavily

"What?" I frown confused. "She was probably recording the conversation. That must be why she was acting all nice and casual so she could get us to talk" he sighs annoyed with himself. "What exactly did you say?" I ask and the two of them tell me the whole conversation they had.

"I'll go down to the studio now and..."

"It's too late. The shows live and will be starting any moment" Faith says nervously switching on the TV.

Julie's POV

"It's so great to finally see you here again" Sarah smiles when the camera's start. "It's great to be back" I smile back at her. "How are you feeling? We all heard about your breakdown" she says softly. "Umm... I'm fine" I frown confused.

"It must have been terribly difficult for you finding out that your teenage daughter had gotten pregnant... And by her own uncle too!" She says in a shocked tone to try and create a little excitment for the audience.

"Not really" I shrug. "Faith and Michael are both adults and married so it doesn't surprise me they'd want to start a family"

"They may be adults now but their still uncle an neice and they were sleeping together when Faith was just 17"

"They met when she was 17, but as far as I'm aware they didn't start dating until she was 18 and as for them being uncle and neice, that's their choice... nothing I can do about it" I shrug.

"But, apparently there was a sex tape found back from when Faith was 17 that you supposedly found" she frowns confused and I shake my head. "As far as I'm aware they've never made any kind of tape and if they have that's their business. I'd rather not know about their sex life and how the do it" I scrunch my face at the thought.

"But you told me personally you found a video of the two of them engaging in sexual activity the same time you told me you saw Michael being abusive towards your daughter" she says confused and annoyed and shake my head. "You've must have me mistaken with somebody else" I fake a smile and she shakes her head. "No. You told me that you found a video of Michael and Faith performing sexual acts on each other and that you witnessed Michael strike Faith on the side of her mouth during an argument" she frowns confused "if that were true then he'd be in jail right now wouldn't he? But that fact is. All I've ever seen from Michael is him being nothing but caring and loving towards Faith and their daughter and Faith has been a loving wife to him and loving mother to their daughter" I say and she looks at me for a moment then tries a different, softer approach

"I understand that all this could be difficult for you to talk about after your beakdown but..."

"I never had a breakdown" I cut her off. "I've just been taking some time out of the spotlight and spending some time with my family. Which Michael and Faith told you when you interviewed them recently" I cut her off "Um... they did but..."

"Actually what I meant to say was they TRIED to tell you, but you cut them off everytime they tried to speak" I cut her off and she opens her mouth to speak, but I cut her off before she can speak. "And do you really think it was professional of you to sit there and harrass a heavily pregnant woman like you did with my daughter?" I frown and she looks akwardly to the side of the stage at the producer then turns back to be when he doesn't do anything.

"Well.. i'm sorry if Faith felt like that's what I was doing, but all I was doing was simply conducting an interview" she fakes a smile. "Well... I've seen the interview and from what I saw, you sitting there and asking very innaproprete questions to the point where my daughter walked off stage because she felt so uncomfortable" I say with a straight face and she looks at me confused, but doesn't say anything for a moment.

"Um... I think we're gonna go to a quick break" she fakes a smile at the camera's and I get up from my seat and go to leave.

I go to the dressing room to get my stuff and Sarah comes charging in. "WHAT THE FUCK WAS ALL THAT ABOUT!!?" she yells slamming the door behind her. "Why would you sit there and lie like that?" She frowns confused "I didn't lie about anything" I lie and she looks at me annoyed shaking her head. "What the hell is going on with you? A few months ago you came to me with all that stuff and couldn't wait to do this interview and spill all the gossip on those two and now you gonna deney you told me those thing's"

"Things change" I shrug "things? What things? You've wanted to take down Michael's reputation for years! And you had the chance to do that a moment ago on stage and..."

"And now I don't" I cut her off. "Julie, what's going on? I've known you since you were a teenager. This isn't you" She frowns confused.

"What's going on is that I'm not a stupid and messed up teenager anymore. I'm a grown woman and I'm to old for all this bullshit trying to ruin other people's lives just because they have the life and the career I only wished for"

"So that's it? You and Michael are the best of friends now?" She says sarcastically "no, but I'm not gonna spend anymore time trying to ruin his life" I say and she looks at me confused for a moment then why widens her eyes "Are you sleeping with him!?"

"What!?" I gasp confused "this is perfect! Michael Jackson is having an affair with his mother in law!"

"Of course not! That's disgusting!"

"Then what? Are you back with Jackie!? That's it isn't it!? That's why your being so nice about Michael. Because you sleeping with his brother!" She smiles "your a dick and you seriously  need to move on and get a life" I smirk and walk out not giving her the chance to say anymore.

I get out of the studio and make my way the car park and see Jackie stood waiting by his car.

"What are you doing here?" I ask confused walking closer to him. "I saw your interview. That was... interesting"

"I can't believe I just snapped like that on live TV" I say feeling embrassed by my actions. "Why? Our daughter does it all the time" he chuckles slightly. "Faith has always been a little free spirited" I chuckle slightly and he goes silent for a moment.

"I went over to see her and Michael today... they told me about what you did and your little visit"

"I meant what I said to them. I'm not gonna fight for custody of Precious anymore and I'm not gonna try and cause them any more trouble" I say truthfully and he looks at me skeptiaclly. "If your planning something then..."

"I'm not. I swear. What I said to Faith and Michael today was the truth and I meant every word"

"Yeah... About what you said to them" he frowns confused "what was all that God stuff about?"

"Like I told them... He helped me understand things differently. Didn't they tell you? We had a really long convention about it and..."

"Yeah, they told me" he cuts me off "and if all that's true and you found God or whatever. Do you really think that preaching all that stuff to Faith and Michael was a good idea?"

"What do you mean?" I frown confused. "I mean. You scared the shit out of them talking like that. Especially after what your mother did"

"I didn't even think about that" I sigh heavily shaking my head realising how crazy I must have sounded. "They were asking me questions and I thought it would be best if I was completely honest and open with them... I didn't mean to freak them out" I say sincerely and he smiles at me sympatheticly.

"I wanna believe you when you say your trying to change and if that's true then great! but you need to take baby steps. Especially when it comes to Faith and Michael"

"How do you mean?"

"Why don't I give you a ride home and we can talk more on the way" he smiles slightly and I smile back the same way and the two of us drive away.
