LaToya's POV

I come down for breakfast and mother and Joseph are at the table. "Michael gone already?" I ask joining them. "he's still sleeping" mother replies. "I still don't see why he couldn't stay at home. That boy needs to man up and quit being a little wuss all the time" Joseph, shrugs. "he was just a little upset because Faith had to leave and Jackie was arguing with him again. That doesn't make him a wuss" mother defends him. "he was upset because his little girlfriend had to leave, that makes him a wuss in my book" he shrugs at her "you mean niece? And wuss isn't the term I'd use" I say sarcastically "don't you start! I had enough of Michael and Jackie going at it yesterday. I don't wanna listen to you too" mother frowns at me. "why are you defending him? You know what he's doing is wrong" I frown "and why are you just getting at your brother? Faith's just as much to blame" Joseph cuts it. "because Michael knew who Faith was when they met and he's older and should have known better. What he's doing is immoral and disgusting" I scrunch my face. "it's not like their brother and sister and what they do behind closed doors is their business" he shrugs "and what if it gets out about them. How do you think his fans will react?"

"he met a girl and fell in love and she loves him back and makes him happy. Why would his fans be upset about that?" mother asks confused. "nothing... Apart from that girl being his own neice!" I point out "they won't have to know about Jackie would they? Jackie doesn't put the other kids on blast in the media, so why would he with Faith?" Joseph cuts in "but they will find out. Look what happened with Jovani"

"that's enough!" Mother snaps at me. "I'm just saying if it had been her Michel had gone looking for and started a relationship with, you wouldn't be so accepting" I mumble "first off Jovani's his and your sister and a baby and second nobody said we excepted shit!" Joseph frowns "We all know what their doing is wrong. So is everybody just brushing it under the table like it's no big deal?" I frown "Michael clearly has some perverted fetish to wanna be with his niece and Faith obviously has some kind daddy issues if she's sleeping with her uncle and..."

"and that's a therapists problem not mine" Joseph cuts me off. Mothers about to speak, but quickly goes quiet and I turn to see Michael walking into the kitchen.

"don't shut up on my account" he frowns at me walking over to get some coffee "your sister didn't mean it, the way it sounded" my mothers says softly "there's only one way too say that!" he frowns and visibly upset. I'm about to speak when his phone start ringing.

"hi!" he smiles answering the phone "Ok... I'll see you then... Love you"

"is Faith ok?" I ask when he hangs up. Guessing that's who was on the phone. "like you care" he mumbles, not even looking at me. "she still with Julie?" Joseph asks "no, she on her way to school, but she'll be back home tonight" he smiles "I'm gonna have to go down to the studio. I was supposed to be there and hour ago" he smiles at my parents and walks put completely ignoring me.

"now look what you've done!" mother says I a hush yet stern tone. "me!? All I did was say what everybody else's is thinking and..."

"and upset your brother in the process. maybe you should try keeping your opinions to yourself for change" she cuts me off "so your siding with him?.. Again" I say that last part sarcastically. "not, but that doesn't mean I want all my children fighting and ganging up on each other"

"I wasn't ganging up on..."

"yes you were! First Jackie now you!"

"well shouldn't that tell him something?" I raise and eyebrow, folding my arms "don't give your mother and attitude!" Joseph snaps at me "now go and apologise to your brother"

"but..."

"now!" he snaps and I hear Michael's car driving away from the house "he's already gone. Guess it'll have to wait" I shrug and he frowns and me not saying anything and I sigh getting up "fine, I'll go find him" I roll my eyes leaving the room and go get dressed.

Faith's POV

"So your meeting Michael after school?" my mother asks coming into the kitchen as I'm getting my things together "I never said that" I frown confused "oh I'm sorry. I over heard you on the phone saying I love you too. I just guessed it was Michael" she shrugs innocently "oh" I mumble not denying or confirming anything. "so are you meeting him at his studio or are you going straight to his house? Because I can give you a ride if you like" she fakes a smile at me. "I'm going to hang out with Kylee and go to her house after for dinner" I lie "and don't worry I have a ride" I fake a smile. "will you be coming back home tonight? Or will you be staying with Michael again?"

"I spoke to Fernado and told him what happened to you and he said he'd call you later and should be back around 10pm tonight" I smile "but what about..."

"I have to go. I'm really late for school" I cut her off and give her a hug and peck her cheek "love you!" I smile leaving to go to school.

Julie's POV

As Faith hugs me, feel her put something into my pocket, before she rushes out the door. I reach in an pull out a small note

'Nice try   😉 '

I scrunch up the piece of paper an throw it across the room and reach into my shirt and take out my recorder, slamming it down onto the table

Michael's POV

"what do you want!?" I frown as I open my office door to LaToya. "I came to apologise about what I said this morning" she mumbles. "whatever" I shrug, the turn back to what I was writing. "you know! It took me alot to come here and say that. The least you could do is except my apologies " LaToya says with an attitude. "and what exactly are you apologising for? accusing Faith of having daddy issues? Or for accusing me of having a perverted fetish!? Or are you just apologising because you were told to?" I raise and An eyebrow, sceptical of her apology. "fine! Joseph sent me. But I still said sorry" she rolls her eyes. "hm.. I thought it would have been mother" I shrug casually and she sighs. "Michael, can't you see? Me, Jackie... Mother and some of the others are trying to help you, but your being too stubborn to listen"

"I'm not being stubborn!" I shake my head "I have listened to you and the others thoughts and I've told you mine and I don't need any help" I shrug. "we're trying to help you see that what you and Faith is doing is wrong and your both gonna end up getting hurt"

"your the one that's hurting me not Faith" I point out and she sighs softly. "and what makes you so sure she won't?"

"because she loves me, like I love her" I shrug "and what about all the other stuff? Faith's 17 if anybody were to find out about you sleeping with her or being with her like that in anyway, you could go to jail! And what about marriage and children? You could never have that with Faith"

"yes we can" I frown "actually it's against the law to marry a relative and you two staring the same DNA means you can't have kids together either because it could cause alot of problems for the baby"

"we'll work around that and Jackie's not on Faith's birth certificate or any legal things saying he's her father so yes we can get married and have children together someday"

"it may not be in writing but you and Faith are still uncle and niece and she's still only 17" she says softly. "I'm only 23. There's not that much of an age difference" I frown "but at 17, she's gonna wanna be out partying and hanging out with friend, experiencing new things and... New people" she mutters that last part. "and she can still do all that so what's your point?" I shrug "my point is Faith already had a boyfriend when she met you an...."

"and she broke up with him to be with me! She wouldn't cheat on me" I frown cutting her off "did anything happen between you and Faith while she was still dating that boy?"

"well yeah, but she wasn't doing anything with him, just with me" I shrug leaving out the details of what we actually did. "just because she tells you something doesn't make it true Michael and if she was more than happy to cheat on her last boyfriend then break up with him to be with you, what makes you so sure she'd stay true to you?"

"Get out!" I snap opening the door and she looks at me confused "you heard me! Get the fuck out! I don't wanna hear anymore of your interfering bullshit!" I snap "just think about what I said" she says and walks out of my office "bye!" I snap slamming the door behind her.

I was already pissed about Latoya's little comments this morning so for her to come all the way down here and say that just pisses me off even more. I'm fully aware about DNA and about Alex and the age and all that other stuff. People don't have to keep going on at me about it like I have no idea what I'm doing. LaToya and I used to be so close and at one point she out of everybody she would have been on my side and understood like Janet does and Marlon are, but ever since she started seeing this guy Jack, it's like she a completely different person. I'm not sure how Joseph feels though because he kind of ignored the whole thing, but I know mother doesn't, but unlike Jackie and LaToya she doesn't go on at me every two seconds about it. I know Faith loves me and she'd never do anything behind my back with anybody, just like I never would with her.

Faith's POV

"how amazing is this new song!? And all the different singers performing on this one track makes it all so much... Magical!" Kylee smiles playing the 'we are the world' song from her phone while we're in the school bathroom "I know it's great!" I giggle at her enthusiasm whilst smiling proudly to myself when my part comes on. Kylee doesn't know I'm on the track, infact the only people that do is me, Michael and Quincy and I can't wait until she figures it out. "oh my god! This is my song!" she beams dancing around to the second song that comes on her playlist and grabs my hands for me to join in. Then suddenly stops "what's wrong?" I look at her confused as she rushes to the toilet and begins vomiting. "I'm fine it's just that morning sickness" she groans leading over the seat. "you'll know all about it soon enough" she giggles cleaning herself up and I fake a smile at her through pursed lips. "have you seen the school nurse yet?"

"umm.. Not but I already know I'm no..."

"well you need to know for sure! C'mon we'll go now" she smiles excitedly taking my hand and we both make our way to the school nurse.

"good luck" Kylee smiles excitedly at me and I knock on the door.

"what can I help you with Ms Owens?" the young nurse smiles "um.. I kinda need the morning after pill" I mumble "again?" she smiles through pursed lips and I nod.

After about 10 minutes of her going on about the importance of safe sex and suggesting I speak to my family doctor about birth control and how the morning after pill should be for emergencies only, she finally gives it me. I'm fully aware off all that stuff since she tells me every time I go in the nurses office, but there's no way I can go to my family doctor, especially with something like this.

"so what did she say? Are you?" Kylee eagerly asks as soon as I leave the nurses office. "sorry" I shake my head and she sigh with an expression of both disappointment and annoyance. "Faith! Are you even trying to get pregnant? Because we made this pact together and when you make a pact you can't break it remember?"

"I know and I am trying, really" I lie "maybe you should start playing the field a little. Maybe this Jack guy your dating is running low on swimmers" she suggests. "he's not running low on anything and I'm not gonna cheat on him!" I frown "well you better do something! I'm already 6 weeks pregnant so you better hurry your ass up and catch up"

"and I will soon" I lie faking a smile and she sighs pulling me in for a hug "awww. I'm sorry boo. It's just these crazy hormones. I know you'll get there soon" she smiles reassuringly and I smile at her through pursed lips. In a way I feel bad for Kylee. We did make a pact to get pregnant together and raise our babies together. But on the other hand I don't feel bad. we were both high as hell when we made that pact and if she wants to go through with it, fuck her. I have enough parent issues of my own to deal with.

"did he agree?" I ask Diana "mhm... He's coming over Thursday. I'm still not sure about this though" she sighs "Diana, you want Michael to break up with Faith as much as I do right?"

"of course! It's not right what the two of them are doing and something like this could ruin Michael's whole career, but what makes you so sure it'll work?"

"Diana, Michael has loved you since he was a little boy and..."

"he had a little crush once. He wasn't in love" she giggles slightly "crush, love, whatever, but once Michael sees he has other options and realises that he's tempted by other woman. Then he'll see Faith's not all that great and he'll finaly see her for the child she is and finally end things with her"

"but what of he really does love her and refuses my advances?" she says skeptiacly "he won't trust me. I know my brother better then he knows himself"
