Jackie's POV

Michael and I get back in the car and continue driving to the old house and Michael is silent the whole time.

"We can't do this" Michael says as we park outside the house. "Mike, we agreed. It's for the bes..."

"I know what we agreed! But we can't seriously..."

"Trust me. I don't wanna do this anymore than you do" I cut him off. "But if we let her leave, who know's what she'll do and it's not like we can go to the police about it"

"I know but..."

"But what?" I cut him off again "I know your nervous and so I'm I, but it's not like we're doing this for kicks. We don't have a choice. We're doing it to protect our family. Your wife and daughter" I say and he doesn't reply and just sits staring at the house. "I thought you said you'd do anything to protect Faith and Precious?"

"I would, but..."

"But what? Julie's done so much damage already ready to our family, especially Faith. Are you really gonna just sit back and let her do any worse?"

"Of course not! But there's gonna be another way. We can't just..."

"Like what?" I cut him off and he doesn't say anything. "Exactly! This is the only way"

Michael's POV

We get into the house and Jackie starts searching around in the kitchen cupboards. "What are you looking for?" I frown confused. "We need something. How else are we gonna do it?" He says still looking through everything then stops. "Here" he says taking a hammer out of one of the cupboards and hands it to me.

"Are you serious!?" I widen my eyes at him. "You don't want her to suffer for too long do you?"

"Well no, but..."

"Then this is perfect. One hard hit to the back of the head and your done"

"I'm done!? Why's it gotta be me!? This was your plan not mine" I frown handing it back to him. "You have better aiming than me. Don't you remember when we used used to play baseball as kids? You were the best batter out of all of us put together"

"Hitting a baseball and bashing someone in the head with a hammer isn't exactly the same is it? There's a huge difference" I point out. "Well if I do it and miss then I'm gonna have to try again and then she'll have to suffer longer. Does that sound fair to you?" He shrugs handing the hammer back to me. "Non of this is fair" I shake my head.

"Lets just get this over with" he says walking over to the basement door. "You wanna do it now!?" I say nervously. "The sooner we get this over with the better" he says and goes to unlock the door, but I move my hand away stopping him. "I can't do this" I say nervously and he sighs heavily and puts his hands on my shoulders. "Nobody's ever gonna find out about this, I promise. The only people that will ever know is you and me"

"I know but.."

"If it you feel better how about I distract her then as soon as her back is turned you hit her as hard as you can and then go back to the car and wait for me and i'll finish up?" He says softly. I open my mouth to speak, but he cuts me off.

"Just take a deep breath and relax. You'll be ok" he says calmly then unlocks the door and turns to me. "Are you ready?" He asks and I take a deep breath and nod then follow him down the stairs.

We get downstairs and stop suddenly and look around the empty basement confused. "Where the fuck did she go?" Jackie frowns confused looking around.

"Did you lock the door after we left last time?" I ask an he nods "are you sure? Because..."

"I'm sure" he cuts me off. "You Just saw me unlock it" he points out. "Then how the fuck did she get out!?" I snap "How should I know!?" He snaps back and rushes up the stairs and I quickly follow behind him.

"W-what are you doing here?" I stutter seeing LaToya standing in the kitchen. "What do you think!? I knew you two were up to to something, but this!? This is sick!" She snaps "How did you know we were here?"

"I followed you here yesterday and I figured this was were you were sneaking off to again. I can't believe the two of you actually kidnapped someone and locked them in a basement!" She frowns shaking her head.

"YOU let her out!?" I ask "what the heck do you think!? How could you do that to a person!?" She scrunches her face in disgust. "Where is she?" Jackie asks and she doesn't answer. "Where is she!?" He asks more sternly and she turns back to me. "What are you doing with that?" She looks at the hammer I'm holding confused. "Nothing" I shake my head and throw in down the basement stairs. "Were you? Were you gonna kill her!?" She gasps she widens her eyes. "Of course not" I lie and "what's happened to you!?" She says shakily and stares at me opened mouth. "It wasn't like that" I sake my head. "It was my idea. Not Michael's" Jackie steps in. "And that makes it ok!?" She snaps

"You have no idea what that womans has put ALOT of people through and we didn't plan any of this... It just kind of happened"

"How does kidnapping a human being and locking them in a basement just kinda happen!?"

"Can you just tell us where she is?" I cut in. "Why? So you can finish the job?" She frowns at me "does Faith know about the two of you planning on murdering her mother?"

"She doesn't know anything about this and I wasn't gonna murder her"

"What did you think bashing somebody with a hammer was gonna do?" She says slightly sarcastic "just tell us where she is!?" Jackie Snaps at her. "I took her to a hotel for the night so she could calm down and get over the shock of what you two did! Hopefully she'll be on her way to the police by now"

"You stupid bitch!" I snap. "If she was gonna go to the police then she would have done it last night! She wouldn't have taken a nap first. She's gonna straight for Faith and Precious and Faith won't be able to defend herself she's pregnant and..."

I'm cut off when Jackie suddenly punches me hard in the face. "What the the fuck!?" I snap holding my nose which is now busted. "You knocked up my daughter!? Again!?" He snaps "are you fucking serious right now!?" I look at him shocked.

"We have to go" he says ignoring me and I follow him out to the car.

"Wait. Why would Julie go after Faith if she had nothing to do with it?" LaToya asks running over to us. "Just get in the car we'll explain on the way" Jackie says starting the engine. "On the way to where?"

"JUST GET IN THE FUCKING CAR!!" I yell and jumps slightly then does as she's told and we quickly drive off. "Call Faith and make sure she's ok" Jackie says to me and I take out my phone and compose myself before dialling.

"Hello?" Faith answers the phone happily. "Hi, baby. How's everything at home? Are you and Precious ok" I ask and notice the scowl on Jackie's, but I ignore him on continue my conversation. "We're fine. Just like I said we would be. Quit worrying all the time" she sighs slightly. "Baby, you know I always worry when I'm not there" I smile slightly and Jackie elbows me in the side and frowns at me. "Um.. I'm just calling to let you know i'll be home soon"

"Ok, I see you soon. Love you" she says happily. "I love you too" I smile down the phone then hang up.

"She's fine" I turn to Jackie putting my phone back in my pocket. "Your gonna have to get her away from the house and go somewhere before Julie turns up" Jackie says and I nod. "But you can't tell her what's going on. She'll only panic"

"I'm not lying to her" I shake my head. "Mike this isn't the time to be taking high morals!" He snaps at me. "Well she's gonna know something's wrong and she's gonna be asking question why we're hiding. I have to tell her. She needs to know what's going on" I say sternly.

"Will somebody tell me what the hell I going on!?" LaToya snaps from the back seat. And Jackie explains everything.

"... And for all we know Julie's on her way over there to take the baby back" he says after explaining everything. "Can you blame her!?" LaToya frowns.

After explaining ever thing to LaToya and convincing her not to speak about this to anybody, we get to my house and I get out and Jackie and LaToya drive off.

I get through the front door and Faith rushes over to me "Oh my God! What's happened!? Are you ok!?" She gasps immediately noticing my busted nose.

"We um.. we have to go away for awhile. The three of us"

"Why? What's going on?" She looks at me nervously. "I'm so sorry" I say shakily. "Sorry for what? Michael, what have you done?"

"I'll explain everything, but we have to go now" I say nervously and she nods, looking at me confused, but doesn't say anything and goes upstairs to get precious and the three of us quickly leave.
