Michael's POV

I'm in the bedroom getting ready and Faith walks in "Jackie's downstairs" she smiles. "I'm almost ready. Is your mom meeting us there?"

"Mhm.. I can't wait to see!" She smiles excitedly. "Me neither" I smile with the same excitement.

Today's the day of Julie's first scan, we won't get to find out what it is yet, but Faith and I have our still really excited about seeing the baby for the first time.

"You two finally ready?" Jackie smiles as we come downstairs. "Mhm" I nod "relax. It's just a scan" he says softly putting his arm around me, sensing my nervousness. "I just want everything to be ok"

"And it will be. Your gonna see you baby for the first time today" he smiles and I smile back through pursed lips. "Your definitely ok with this?" I ask for the millionth time. "Yes! Billion times yes" he chuckles slightly "this is your baby not mine. yours and Faith, I'm just the lucky one that got to help you" he smiles "You have no idea how much this means to us" I croak

"Hey, what's the matter? It's the woman that are supossed to get hormonal not you" he chuckles "I know, I just still can't believe this is happeneing" I smile "well it is. Your gonna be a daddy" He smiles excitedly. "Plus! It's gonna have the Jackson genes so you know your kids gonna be the cutest baby around" he chuckles making me do the same thing.

Faith's POV

"Are you two ready to see your baby?" My mom smiles and Michael and I nod and turn to the screen and stand in silence just staring at our tiny little boy or girl. "Have you thought of names or anything yet?" She asks half interested, but also texting someone and I shake my head. "We have some, but nothing official yet" I mumble still staring at the screen. "Would umm.. would you two like to see?" The nurse asks akwardly. "I'm good. Those things all look the same anyway" my mom shrugs and continues texting, but Jackie walks towards us and smiles looking at the screen and goes silent for a moment "it's perfect" he smiles

"Are we almost done here? I kind of have to pee" my mom interrupts our moment and we nod and she sighs in relief and gets up to use the restroom.

Michael and I are stood waiting in the lobby for about 10 minutes  and Jackie finally comes out of the room. "Is everything ok?" I ask and he nods and smiles at us through pursed lips "everything's great sweetheart. Come on let's get going"

"But what about my mom?" I frown confused. "Her friends gonna pick her up. They have a meeting or something" he shrugs then walks down the hall towards the car park followed by me and Michael.

Jackie's POV

After the appointment the three of us go back to my parents house to tell them how everything went and everybody was really excited about seeing the sonogram picture Faith and Michael got.

I haven't told anybody about mine and Julie's 'deal' or that I'm the biological father. as far as the rest of the family is aware, Julie's just a surrogate and the baby is there's.

I go into the kitchen to get a drink and once again Janet and LaToya are getting snippy at each other.

"What's happened now?" I sigh rolling my eye's. "Nothing. Just little miss Buzz kill over there trying to ruin the mood... as always" Janet scoffs. "No. All I said was it's wierd that Julie would just offer Faith and Michael her baby like that, especially since she hates them being together and I don't understand why they'd need a surrogate if Michael is the problem" LaToya frowns confused. "Michael's not the problem!" I Frown "Faith also suffered damage when you knocked her down the stairs! It's difficult for both of them not just one"

"I didn't mean it like that" LaToya mumbles "then what did you mean?" Janet asks

"I'm mean it's strange how Julie would just hand over a her baby like that and how do we know she even will?"

"She doesn't want it and it's their baby. We explained this. It's Faith's eggs an Michael's sperm. Julie's just carrying the baby that's all" I lie "and what does she get out of it?" LaToya raises an eyebrow at me. "She gets to do a good thing for two people that deserve to be parents" I shrug. "Plus she gets a free vacation when the baby's due. I'm sure that helps" Janet cuts in. "That's another thing I don't get" LaToya frowns "if this is a normal surragancy, then why does her and Faith and Julie need to go away for awhile?"

"Because they don't want people to know it's a surrogate. So what?" Janet shrugs. "But what if Julie goes back on it?" LaToya ask "she won't" I shake my head "You don't know that for sure. What if a few months down the line she changes her mind and..."

"Who's changed their mind?" Michael asks walking into the room "nobody" I shake my head "has Julie changed her mind!?" He says nervously "of course she hasn't! LaToya's just...."

"Just trying to prepare you for What could happen" LaToya cuts me off. "So she's not changing her mind?" Michael turns back to me confused and I nod. "Then why are you trying to cause drama?" He frowns at LaToya. "I'm not I'm just saying..."

"Well don't!" Faith says walking into the room. "Why can't you just be happy without feeling this need to look for problems?"

"Sweetie that's not what I'm doing I'm just..."

"We're gonna head home" Michael cuts her off. "I'll come with you" Janet smiles and follows them out of the room.

Faith's POV

"You don't have to leave because of what she said" Janet says as we're leaving. "It's fine. I'm just not in the mood for people putting and downer on everything" I shrug. "Well there's nothing to put a downer on. I'm gonna be an auntie!" She smiles excitedly. "Now hurry up and get to your place. So we get open up the champagne. We gotta celebrate!"

When we got back we spent most of the evening drinking and hanging out. Janet and I really clicked since the first time we met and I love how she always manages to lift the mood somehow.

I know LaToya didn't say those things to try and hurt me or Michael, but I can understand where she's coming from because it's the same fear I have, that one day my mom's gonna just turn around and say she doesn't want to give up the baby anymore which she can at anytime.

I'm in the kitchen and my thoughts are disturbed when I feel Michael wrap his arms around me.

"Hi, Michael" I giggle "how did You know it was me?" He chuckles. "Because Janet never lifts her hand up my shirt, when she hugs me" I giggle slightly

"So she shouldn't.. these belong to me" he groans squeezing and rubbig my breasts a little firmer "it's that So?" I smirk "mhm and this is mine" he smirks squeezing my ass then lift me into the counter "this is mine" he groans rubbing his large fingers against my panties and I let out a light moan onto his lips "and this is..."

"Me officially traumatized!" We hear Janet gasp and we both quickly jump and start adjusting ourselves. "I thought you fell asleep?" Michael says awkardly "mhm... if you two wanted to get your freak on. You could just ask me to leave us know?" She giggles still covering her eyes.

Janet's POV 

After leaving Michael and Faith I make my way over to Jackie's.

"Hey, what are you doing here so late?" He smiles a little confused "just thought I'd stop by. Enid not around?" I ask, casually looking around. "She and the kids are at her parents for the weekend"

"So we can talk privately then" I smile through pursed lips and take a seat on the sofa. "So what's really going on with Julie?" I ask getting straight to the point. "We already told you" he shrugs.

"I was at the last doctors appointment with Faith and there was nothing wrong with her, so why would she need someone else to carry her baby?"

"Maybe you miss that bit of information"

"Or maybe your lying and that baby Julie's carrying is really yours" I raise an eyebrow and he looks at me nervously "of course it's not! That ridiculous!"

"You told Jermaine you slept with her three months ago and how far along is she?" I say sarcastically "Jermaine had no right to tell you that!" He frowns "and you have no right to lie to your family. I understand you doing this for Faith and Michael and giving them a child is a wonderful thing, but non of us get why your saying all these lies to us. Do Faith and Michael know it's not there's?"

"Of course they know! They never gave any eggs or sperm or anything like that, their not stupid. They wanted a baby and Julie's giving them one. what's the problem? "

"And how much are you giving her?" I ask and he doesn't say anything. "So you are paying her?"

"Yes! Ok? I'm giving her money and she's giving them the kid and everybody's happy!" He shrugs sarcastically. "And what about you? That's your baby, your gonna watch grow up and call somebody else daddy. Your really ok with watching your brother raise your son or daughter and call Michael daddy and not you?"
"I don't want another kid. In fact I was gonna pay Julie to get rid of it but..."

"But what?" I ask softly "is it really that bad to wanna give two people something so precious?"

"Of course not! That's not what I'm saying" I say softly putting my arms around him "does Faith and Michael know you've been paying her?" I ask and he breaks away shaking his head. "No and You cannot tell them! If they found out then..."

"I'm not gonna say a word" I hold my hands up. "What exactly is this deal or whatever it is?" I ask still confused.

"I give her money each week and she keeps her mouth shut and when the baby's born she hands it over and we all go our separate ways"

"And that's it?"

"Unless I'm late or don't pay her one week and she said if I do then the deals off and she'll tell them everything"

"Then you better make sure you pay her, because if they find out and they lose another baby because of..."

"I know! And they won't. Just promise me you won't say anything"

"I promise. And i'll help with paying Julie too" I smile at him through pursed lips and he smiles back the same way.

I hate the thought of hiding things from Michael and Faith, but I understand why Jackie is doing this for them. I know deep down I should tell them what's going on, but when I saw their faces when they came back from the doctors, they were so happy and for the first time in a long time and if tell them or Julie goes back on hers and Jackie's deal it'll break their hearts all over again.
