Jackie's POV

I'm sitting in the living room and Enid suddenly comes charging through the front door.

"I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO EMBARRASSED IN MY LIFE!"

"What happened?" I look at her confused. "What happened!? I was out shopping with a friend and not only did ONE credit card fail, but ALL of them! What the hell!?"

"Their must be a problem with the bank or something" I lie "i'll call them later"

"No! You can do it now! They fucked up and they need to fix it!"

"Well I'm a little busy right now"

"Jackie! Do you have any idea how embarrassing what just happened was!? If you won't call them then I will!" She snaps about to start dialling and I quickly take the phone from her. "I said I'd call them later and I will now quit fucking bugging me!" I snap. "And what am I supposed to do until then, huh?"

"Why does everything have to involve money with you!? You know it wouldn't kill you NOT to go out and spend MY MONEY for one day!" I snap storming out of the house.

I get into the car and get a call from Faith.

"Hey sweetie, is everything ok?" I smile hearing my daughter's sweet voice"

"Mhm... we we're just checking your still coming over for lunch?"

"Of course! You know I wouldn't miss your cooking for the world" I smile down the phone "I'm on my way over to your place. I'll me there soon sweetie"

"See you soon!" She says happily and hangs up.

As I'm pulling up outside their house I get another call and sigh heavily.

"Hello"

"Do you have it yet?" Julie says "not yet. I told you I'll get it"

"Well the clocks ticking so..."

"It's not that easy to get that amount of money each week you know?" I cut her off "well if you don't then we both know what happens" she says coldly and hangs up the phone.

Faith's POV

"One last thing" Michael smiles leaving the room and quickly comes back with the little pink bunny that Jackie bought and places it in the crib. "Now it's fit for a princess" he smiles proudly and wraps his arms around me. "It's perfect" I smile looking around the nursary.

"Anybody up here?" We hear a familiar voice in the hall "we're in here" I yell and Jackie walks in "What do you think?" Michael smiles "it looks amazing. Did you two do this all by yourselves?"

"Mhm" we nod proudly "it looks great" he says looking around and stops by the crib and smiles slightly looking at the bunny.

"Everythig ok?" Michael frowns confused. "Mhm.. everything's fine" he fakes a smiles through pursed lips. I've notice Jackie's seemed really off lately, but Michael told me that Jackie said to him that he and Enid are having problems lately, so I haven't questions him to much about it. He never said what kind of problem, but whatever it is, I really hope they can work things out.

We're eating lunch and Jackie's phone keeps ringing and he keeps hanging up. "You not gonna get that?" I ask when it goes off yet again "it could be important"

"It's um.. it's fine it's just Enid" he mumbles "me and her are just having a few problems right now is all" he smiles through pursed lips "anyway. It's rude to answer the phone at the dinner table"

"It's fine. We don't mind if you wanna leave the room to take a call" Michael shrugs and continues eating. "I'm just gonna go to the bathroom" he mumbles leaving the table.

"I wonder what their arguing about?" I say in a hushed tone, when Jackie leaves the room. "Who knows. I'm sure they'll be fine. We argue sometimes and we always make up" he shrugs. "That's true. But didn't Jackie tell you what it was about?"

"I already told you... no"

"He must have said something or gave you a clue or... Why are you smirking?" I frown confused "your definitely a reporter's daughter" he chuckles. "I'm just concerned for my father and..."

"Why don't you just admit your looking for gossip?"

"You know what it's about, don't you? I can see it in your eyes"

"Admit it and I'll tell you" he smirks "fine! I'm looking for gossip now tell me before he comes back"

"Ok.. they've been arguing alot because Jackie said all Enid seems to do these days is go shopping an spend a whole bunch of money on random crap she doesn't even need, but he's more pissed off that they haven't had sex in over a month"

"Did you really have to tell me that last part?" I scrunch my face and he chuckles. "He didn't actually say that last part, but it's probably true" he shrugs.

"What's probably true?" Jackie says walking back into the room. "Nothing" I shake my head as he joins us back at the table.

We continue eating and talking and I suddenly remember.

"I forgot to tell you. My mom calls me today and said her next appointment has been changed to Thursday"

"I'll make sure I take the day off" Michael smiles then looks at Jackie confused. "You ok? You've gone really quiet"

"Umm.... yeah... everything's fine" he mumbles and continues eating.

Jackie's POV

After leaving Michael and Faith's house I get in the car and sigh heavily to myself. Normally I love the time I spend with Faith, but with Julie constantly calling an texting and with Michael and Faith talking about baby names and stuff. I've barely had time to think and clear my head.

About an hour or so later, I pull up outside Julie's house.

"You took your time" she raises an eyebrow letting me into the house. "So do you have it?" She asks getting straight to the point "I can't get you that much. Not every week anyway" I tell her honestly. "I guess this baby's getting adopted then. Bye" she shrugs motioning me towards the door.

"So that's it? Your just gonna adopt it out to strangers because I won't give you anymore money?"

"Or sell it. I'm sure I could get alot of money for a Jackson baby" she shrugs. "Why do you need so much money anyway?" I frown confused. "Why not? I've had to be hidden away in this house ever since I started to show, just so nobody finds out Faith isn't the one having a baby"

"She's had to hide away too" I point out "she doesn't have to. And nobody even knows their expecting one anyway" she shrugs "yes she does. Do you really think the press would believe she was pregnant? How many heavily pregnant women do you see with toned abs like hers" I say sarcastically.

"I don't care. And I'm done with all this bullshit too. If you don't wanna pay up for this baby then that's fine. I'm sure I can make triple that when I go to the press about the whole thing"

"Maybe I can but I just don't want to" I shrug "What?" She frowns confused. "This is our baby! Think about it. You think you'll get alot of money from selling this story, but think about how much we could make together"

"Keep talking" she folds her arms becoming interested. "Me, you and our baby! Two high school sweethearts reunited. We could make it like it's a true love story and The media will love it and you know the press would pay a fortune for a story like that!"

"Me and you?" She raises an eyebrow "and where does wife come in all of this?"

"Me and Enid are pretty much over anyway" I shrug "and what about Faith and Michael?"

"They'll be upset at first, but they'll get over it. They can adopt or keep trying. But this isn't about anybody else. This is about US"

"Your serious aren't you?" She frowns "Why not? Let's face it, since day one it's always been Faith and Michael the media wants to talk about and now it's OUR turn to get some of that spotlight and fortune" I smile moving closer to her "So what do you say?"

"I say it's our time to shine she smirks and I pull her closer and kiss her deeply
