First person POV
Slowly waking up, I was greeted by the cool mooonlight and bright stars that escaped from the blue curtains. Rubbing my eyes, I sat up straight as a small and quiet yawn escaped from my agape mouth.

'What time is it... It seems early to me....'

I reached over to my bedside clock and stared at the time of 10:01 PM. I groaned and slammed my head onto my fluffy white pillow and cuddled with it for a few moments. I was slowly drowning in the comfort of the warm blanket itself as the pillow was my cloud cushion of comfort for my small head. I was engulfed in the warm and comfy bed... Until realization struck me.

"W-wait! What day is it today?! It's Christmas Eve right?!" I jumped out of bed and ran to my wardrobe to fling it open. I had forgotten that I had taken my calendar from my room to my newly made office so if I wanted to know what day it was, I'd have to go to my office in proper attire. I wouldn't like for others to badmouth or question Izana's or Zen's decision about my stay and role here in Clarines. Plus, I lost track of the days due to my foolishness... But either way, I knew it was Christmas Eve, plus I still have to go prepare my gifts for everyone and the presents are in my office.

Pulling out some decent attire to wear, I quickly entered my connected bathroom and threw my spare change of clothes onto my vanity chair. I stripped off my nightgown and quickly threw myself into the hot and streamy shower. I just simply and quickly washed my hair with some herbal shampoo that Shirayuki and Ryu had created for me and rinsed it as I quickly scrubbed my limbs and exited the steamy shower. Grabbing a nearby clean towel, I quickly wrapped it around myself and grabbed another towel to try and dry off my long turquoise hair. It took awhile to get majority of the water out, but I managed. I slipped on my fresh new clothes and brushed my hair from any tangles and decided to put it up in high twin tails.

I speed walked over to the door as I struggled to place on some black flats as I swayed left to right since I was in a rush. I was the complete opposite of poise or grace. If it were me to decide what I had look like, I would look like a floppy chicken dancing around the town square scaring people...

Once I had finished struggling with my shoes, I poked my head outside of the door and looked in both directions in case I so happen to bump into someone familar. If I did so, I'd panic and won't be able to find a great explanation but to run...

I closed my door behind me and strolled down the hall while gleaming at my current success so far.

'Yes! It has already been five successful minutes so far! Now, I think I shall be fine for-'

"Kiroyuki! I'm surprised to see you up so late." Zen, Mitsuhide, and Kiki walked over closer to me as I froze in place.

'WHY?! I jinxed myself! NO! Why are you guys up so late?! What do I do...' I was mentally crying in the inside as they stared at me confusingly.

"Kiroyuki, are you okay-" I cut off Kiki's question and awkwardly pointed to the open view.

"H-hey Look! ZEN! I think I see SHIRAYUKI!" I zoomed past them as their attention (well basically only Zen; Kiki and Mitsuhide are just staring blankly at Kiroyuki) was outside as Zen was confusingly staring at the view in hope of finding Shirayuki.

"I don't see-KIROYUKI! Where'd she go?!" I heard Mitsuhide's laugh like his 'creepy' self as I could practically see Kiki grinning while I could mostly hear Zen's angry shouts of embarrassment. "KIROYUKI! HOW DARE YOU?!"

I reached the end of the hallway and quickly turned back to a distant red-face Zen and 'quietly' shouted back. "There's some people sleeping Zen! Big brother Izana would get mad!" Zen quickly paled while Mitshide and Kiki was smirking like foolish idiots after seeing Zen so flustered. (Mostly Mitsuhide... Ehem...)

"Wow Zen, I can't believe that you got tricked by an eleven-year old.."

"Shut up Mitsuhide! Kiki, you too!" I sweat dropped and ran again to only hear distant laughs from Mitsuhide.

'Sorry Zen...but...that was actually pretty funny to see him act like a lost puppy... Hehe...'

I had stopped running once I had felt that I was in the clear and caught my breath as I felt glad that I wouldn't have anymore obstacles in my way...until...

"Kiroyuki...?" 'Why does the skies hate me...'

"H-hi...Ryu..." I mentally was pulling my hair out while screaming out gibberish words."I'm s-surprised that you're still h-here and up so late R-ryu.."

"I decided that it would be fine...plus I have something to do..." I couldn't hear the last part of what he had said and this was the moment for me to make up an excuse.

"Hey Ryu-"

"So, why are you up this late?" 'I'm officially worn out right now... Why world...'

"Ermm.... Sorry Ryu but I promise to explain later! Don't follow me!" I ran down the halls once more as I made multiple twist and turns to perhaps lose him and to hopefully not to bump into-.... What in the FREEZING SNOW IS THIS?! (It's Elsa! Let's build a snowman-.... Okay bye....)

"Hey Kiroyuki! It's a surprise to see you up early." Shirayuki....and Obi.... Not only that but an angry Zen with two amused attendees behind him.

"KIROYUKI!" I ran behind Kiki and was engulfed in Zen's glare.

"Kiki! Please save me!" Zen came closer but before he could headlock me, Kiki was glaring at Zen like a wolf and he quickly backed away to Shirayuki's side.

"I see Kiroyuki.... That's just not fair..." Obi and Mitsuhide was laughing their heads off as I thanked Kiki multiple times.

"Miss Kiroyuki, I kinda saw what you did to Zen while jumping on the roofs! That was hilarious!" I nervously chuckled and Obi got a smacking from Zen. At this exact moment... Ryu came....my life...

"Kiroyuki....?"

"...yo....." 'This is the most uncoordinated day of all days that had to come! Why?!'

"I didn't think I'd find you here." I chuckled nervously and decided to TRY and make another excuse before I get interrupted... AGAIN!

"W-well I have to finish a letter for the p-planning so I'll see all of you guys later!" Kiki stopped me before I could leave and I froze. 'No, no, no! She hasn't caught on has she?!... Well I'm plain obvious anyways...'

"We're all going to have our own little party in Zen's office at 8:00PM so don't be late... And also if Zen tries to scare you again, just tell me." I nodded my head and thanked her once more before awkwardly saying my goodbyes to everyone. Luckily Shirayuki has no clue what's going on...but Ryu... I'm sorry for running away so much....'

'Oh. My. Ice.... I actually made it.... I finally arrived at the office! After an half an hour, I have finally arrived!'

I flung open the door and closed it real quick with haste. I looked around the room and searched for an object or two to guard up the door just in case someone walks in. I quickly and pushed a nearby table side and placed it to block the door. Feeling confident that it'll do the job, I looked at my calendar to find that it's Christmas Eve and felt slightly more assure... Especially since all that happened... Sighing, I walked over to my secret stash of gifts for everyone and carefully took them to a corner of the office.

I got lots of wrapping paper and ribbons of multiple colors and designs and plopped them next to the unfinished gifts. Sliding over to my desk, I opened the drawer to remove a pair of scissors and tape and threw them next to the pile of...things. (Kids.... It's totally safe to throw scissors.... In my dictionary)

I started with big bro Izana's gift and lifted two books of fictional stories that'll fit his interest. I know that he gave me some fictional stories because I wouldn't like to fully have work books and I know that he too can dream. I wrapped it in baby blue wrapping paper and tied on a yellow ribbon. I picked up Obi's gift and brushed my fingers against a mini black leather notebook for his unusual love for writing and a new black and gold two-piece dagger, since the colors kinda reminded me of his eyes. I wrapped it with gold wrapping paper designed with black stripes and placed a white bow on it. Picking up Shirayuki's gift, it was a light green overcoat with cotton on the lining and a medallion on the joining point for the cold. It was dazzling and was wrapped up in bright red wrapping paper with green swirls on it and had a dark green ribbon placed. I got Kiki some new brown combat boots since I noticed her previous ones were bothering her and wrapped it in purple wrapping paper and a golden ribbon with a delicate bow topping it off. For Mitsuhide, I got him a pocket watch that held a design of a lion on top because he's strong and loyal but can also have a soft stop for those he care for. It's also to help him to tell time to chase around Zen for meetings or such. I wrapped it in a mint green wrapping paper and topped it off with a fluffy purple bow. As for the lover boy Zen, I decided to give him a new fancy feather pen that reminded him of Shirayuki because the colors would remind him of her. The pen had a bright red color with other some accessories with emerald colored stones and gold lining. I also added a small attachment of sown beautifully made black ink and wrapped it in white wrapping paper and a red bow and ribbon.

For my amazing friend Ryu, I had provided him with so much gifts into one. I had first got him a bookmark pendant because he loves to read about herbs and medicine. I had bought one that would remind him of me, icy-blue ribbon with pure white swirls as the wind and the medallion was a gold heart with a beautifully made silver snowflake in the center. I had also stitched a soft  blue wool scarf with my own hands for him. It was a long time processed project, but it was for Ryu! I had also given him some rare herbs from my homeland that I had brought with me as I left after that night... Sighing, I remembered all the nice times and fond memories but shook it off and went to my desk to write a letter for Ryu's gift. The letter paper was smooth and firm as I used a fine touch of navy blue ink.

Dear Ryu,
I'm so grateful and happy that you've became my best friend! You're the first boy I've ever met at my age so I'm super super glad tags it was you that I met first! I feel so blessed that we have some things in common like herbs to bring us together to hang out more. Although our attitudes may be bipolar, I feel like we can connect and.... I actually think that you're actually a really nice and caring person with a big heart... You've even included me in your heart so I'm glad. Your heart is like made of gold! Honestly, I don't know how to explain my gratitude, but Happy Christmas Ryu!

I smiled to myself and folded it so that it would look like a card and decorated it with the colors of blue and white along with a tree decorated with lights on the front. Smiling in approval, I skipped back over to the pile of gifts and wrapped it all together in aquamarine wrapping paper with white snowflakes and topped it off with a bright and extravagant gold bow with silver ribbons coming down it's corners. I attached the card to one of the ribbons and smiled to myself knowing that Ryu and everyone would like their gift.

I opened a huge white bag that I had previously prepared and carefully placed their gifts into the bag. Receiving a knock on the door, the royal tailor entered with a white medium sized box with a blue bow on top. I smiled and greeted her as she did the same too as I opened the lid of the box. I smiled agape with excitement and jumped up to hug her as her muscles tensed but relaxed.

"Thank you... It's wonderful!" I pulled back and smiled.

"No, it's our pleasure princess. This is a gift from all of the castle tailors."

"Thank you again, plus I have some gifts that'll send to all of you guys later!" Her eyes widened and her smiled warmed.

"Clarines is bless to have a new role... Princess Kiroyuki... I have to go now, thank you..." I nodded my head and smiled cheerfully as she smiled one last time too as she had now left. I turned my heels to check the time and read 11:26 PM. Smiling to myself, I removed the bright red clothing from the box and smiled even greater.

Now, all I have to do is to make a safe run to my room with everything... Let's do this!

This isn't the end! I'll post the second part on Christmas Night because I have a lot of work tomorrow! I'll be handing out presents to children and such tomorrow so I hope that you all can see how grateful and lucky you are because.... Well anyways... I'll publish tomorrow night!
