Third person POV
Still in hiding of the invisible wall, formed by Hanayuki, they were still undetected by the enemy. For their tracks and voices were as silent as the cold wind of the deserted lands of hidden and truthful happiness. It was as if the illusion of Hanayuki's creation was very effect to everyone's eyes, but, an illusion can't last forever, can it?

"Neil..." Regaining back the heartless and evil soul completely, Kiroyuki gracefully placed a hand onto the side of her head. Her eyes closed, she was not in pain, but rather felt something strange. A large presence that approaches her alerting souls.

"What is it dear Kiroyuki?" Sensing her serious aura, Neil had stopped writing his schemes of attack. Carefully approaching Kiroyuki, he awaited for her to open her beautiful eyes.

"Check the surroundings of the castle. I sense a large force of magic being used and it's coming closer to our forces."

"Hm? No one has reported anything for the past hours though. Are you positive my-"

Kiroyuki hardened her serious glare and nodded her head, positive that her senses are correct.

"I am absolutely positive that someone is using magic around the South rear of the castle." Standing up with no hesitation to her statement, Kiroyuki's hair graciously fell off her shoulder. "Order the main army to form around the South side. The sacred warriors will also side the South. The rest shall surround the castle and fields in case of multiple forks(1) of the enemy."

"Kiroyuki!" Turning to meet Neil's golden and honey-brown eyes, she stared in response of questioning. "Are you saying that someone else in this world can use magic too? You're not the only one?"

"... I hate to admit it, but yes. Although the force of the magic seems to be fading... I can still sense it to be claimed powerful. It's as if I've felt this magic before..." That distant look on her face all Neil needed to put together one small puzzle piece together.

"As you wish my Kiroyuki..."

"E-eh...?"

With a gentle kiss on the forehead, Kiroyuki's eyes widened in shock. She was absolutely abashed! This was the first time she had ever received a kiss from Neil.

"There..."

"W-w-wh-w-what d-did you j-j-just do!?" Blsuhing greatly, Kiroyuki felt her heart sink. She was feeling complexed to her own emotions. "I-if it wasn't for this war... I WOULD PUNCH YOU THROUGH A WALL!"

While a couple of guards passed the door, they flinched at the sudden raised of a voice and fastened their paces. Speed waking somewhere far away from the fuming princess and leader.

Chuckling with a humane heart, Neil gently enveloped Kiroyuki into a warm embrace of brimming and shattering tears that threatened to fall. But he had to keep his cool image as his facade.

"... I just want to preserve this moment...... Please be safe Kiroyuki. I don't want to lose you ever again..."

"S-sure..." Hugging back the taller male, Kiroyuki can feel the littlest bit of trembling muscles from the embrace. She knew that Neil was afraid to lose her...but... This emotion is complicated. So very complicated...

"Sorry... We should be heading our separate ways to gather the men quickly. I'll leave the sacred warriors in your hands. They hold more respect for you. I'll gather up the army perfectly."

"Yes please. Make sure the South side is extremely protected! I do not want any damage to the possibility of loosing  because of the magic force! I can estimate our remains time to be two hours before the force gets too close!"

"Of course, your highness! Oh! Also... Knowing that Clarines wants you back, if they get too close to us and mainly you... We should run to retreat inside the castle with just the two of us!"

"Huh?! I am not one to let the bloodshed go without me in it! I shall murder those arrogant fools who dare to steal my life!"

"Of course! But, I think if things do get risky because of that other magical force, we should create another tactic in hiding inside the castle. We shall ambush someone very important from Clarines when they chase after us!"

"What are you getting at-"

"We don't have a lot of time! I'll go and commence the men!" Running in a dash, away from the questioning of the girl, Neil had commanding soldiers round up every singe men of their force to gather outside in the vast courtyard.

'It seems like Hanayuki is back in Hyoushou... How dreadful! I cannot lose Kiroyuki! I shall win this war with Kiroyuki! She can't go back just yet!'

"Sacred warriors!" Gathering all of the attention from three voluminous men who each differ in elemental colors, they had immediately lined up. Bowing in respect, the sound of their metal armor clanging together was delightful.

"Yes your highness!" Their voices were roaring with virtue and loyalty.

"Bring your heads up!" Instantly, they rosed up with straightened backs and awaited for their lady's orders. "Listen here! We are breaching war in less than a couple of hours! I want you four to prepare yourself the most!"

"Pardon me Princess Kiroyuki, but, we have not been reported of any signs of Clarines!" The warrior in dark green armor had bravely spoke out, knowing that he is uncertain of his master's statement and commands.

"I can sense magic, Vert! I want you to carry your most powerful and suitable weapon that partners your skill. Sharpen the blades, bring a couple of daggers hidden, anything and everything you can possibly do to tear apart those thieving bastards!"

"Thieving bastards? They hold more grace than our kingdom Hyoushou at the moment. Possibly even ages."

"Oh shut up Gorm!" The buff red armored male slapped the slender blue warrior's back, shutting him up quickly.

"As what I was going to say before you BASTARDS interrupted me! Ehem... The source of magic is coming from the Southern side of the castle! I want you four to be on that side!"

"That's it!?" This time, it was the blue warrior who had slapped the red one, making him exploded with fury.

"Oh shut up Rosso... You stupid ball of fury." Fuming with even more rage of the blue warrior's insult, the hotheaded male was ready to punch him.

"This is kinda entertaining..." The green warrior intensely stared at the other two, anticipating a fight.

"STOP ACTING LIKE CHILDREN YOU BASTARDS!" Stopping every action in motion, they stood back in line, not flinching a muscle.

"Please explain the situation again princess~!"

"I AM SO READY TO KILL YOU THREE-... Where's
Kuroiryuu?"

"Umm... I think my brain forgot- OW! WHAT THE HELL VERT! WHY DID YOU PUNCH ME!?"

"Because you're an absolute fool!" Ignoring Rosso, Vert graciously answered Kiroyuki. "He went for a walk an hour before you came to greet us with 'pleasant' news."

"You guys are all idiots... War breaches soon and you're all so damn calm about it!"

"That's because we know more than you, your highness." Kiroyuki whipped her head around to face a stoic male with dark charcoal hair. His eyes were a color of dusty red and it seemed as if his eyes were as dead and well, dead.

"That was one hell of a walk I suppose? And what do you mean by 'we know more than you' shit? Answer me!" The furious and confused expression had fallen onto the young girl's face once more.

"Well, that's for you to possibly discover in the near future."

"Cut the bull-"

"I overheard that the Southern rear of the castle is our main goal to preserve, correct?"

"Hey! Let me finish my damn commands, Kuroiryuu! I never got to finish what I was going to say earlier because of you three bastards!"

"You still love us~!" The three chanted in teasing tones.

"Just shut up and let me talk, you damn apes! As what I was going to say, I need you four to follow me in every step! Meaning, Neil and I will take forms of ambush when things get too risky my soul. So, here is what I need you all to do...."

Along the invisible walls, the face of the pure yet dark soul was slowly dispersing into thin air. The uneven breaths of the hurting was whittling little by little with each step of the holder.

"Hanayuki! Your condition is getting worse!" The sound of a worried yet scared golden eyed cat harshly called out to the trembling girl who held onto his torso.

"... F-for the t-twentieth time... I am f-fine! Y... You don't have to w...worry so much! I... I can still hold this b-barrier up for a li... little bit longer..." Just hearing Hanayuki's soft, quiet and hurting voice, Obi felt like he isn't able to protect Hanayuki since she is controlling this force herself. For he cannot destruct her suffering just by words because of her stubbornness to protect someone she holds dear.

"H-Hanayuki... Let me fix your bandages again! Your b-blood is dripping too much! Let me just-"

"N-no! N... No thank you... R-ryu... I have to... let my... blood t-trail in order for us to re-remain u...u... unseen..." Slowly, Hanayuki retracted her hand away from Ryu and continued to let it hang as the blood trickled down her palm and onto the dusted gray snow.

"But... You might d-...." Ryu's eyes held terror and extreme concern. He can't let Hanayuki, someone blood related to Kiroyuki, die. He wouldn't be able to live with himself knowing that someone very important can die easily right in front of him.

"Hanayuki! We're not too far form the castle! Stop being stubborn this once and let yourself rest! If you continue any longer, you'll die even before we can retrieve Kiroyuki safely! Stop being an idiot this once!" Although the three were surrounded by hundreds of soldiers and familiar faces, their voices were somewhat hushed in different tones. But Obi, he was a bit beyond a hushed whisper of silence. He was frustrated with himself and the girl who sat behind him and continued to hold him for support in order to not fall onto the dirtied snow.

"... That's not fair... You d-don't even know me... I can't unleash this barrier just yet. I won't or rather can't-!!!" The determination in her voice and the less pitiful hesitations of words were gone for that single moment.

"Hanayuki!"

"Let hell rise and incinerate Clarines! Come... My warriors!"

A/N
First of all, I was suppose to finish writing this chapter yesterday and was suppose to be published yesterday, but I got caught up in some stuff. I'll also be gone for around a week for some "business trip". Hopefully, I can find some time to write little by little.

- What I meant by this was that since a road can fork into two different paths, Clarines can fork not only two, but many paths around the castle. So Kiroyuki is wary of Clarines forking, meaning that she wants her army to spread themselves around the entire castle. You know what... let me do a little diagram.
