Ryu's POV
"W-why am I g-going to the b-ball?!" I quietly yelled at Obi as he pushed a few clothing items at me. Zen was smirking in the corner with Mitsuhide as Obi was kindly handing me some clothes and instructions.

"You're going to the ball because Kiroyuki's going to be there~!" Blushing, I covered my face within the clothing in my hands.

"Don't tell me that Shirayuki and Kiki are also in this....." I heard silence envelope as my head was still covered. I looked up from the bundle of clothing and ended up finding everyones' back towards me. I sweat dropped and took that answer as yes.

"Ryu." I looked over to Mitsuhide and nodded my head. "Don't you think Kiroyuki would look beautiful?"

I was deadpanned and felt my eyes twitch with my face burning up slowly. I pouted angrily and turned my back towards the three. Mitsuhide was chuckling loudly while Obi and Zen were laughing as they slapped their knees. I feel like I'm being bullied....

"Hey master and Mitsuhide... Wouldn't both Shirayuki and Kiki look gorgeous as well?"

I turned myself to face the others again to see a red or pink Mitsuhide and Zen. I was internally smirking a lot but was slightly physically grinning at the two.

"So Ryu-" Obi skipped over to my side and placed his arm around my shoulder as he had a mischievous glint and grin plastered on his face. I sweat dropped and looked pleadingly towards Mitsuhide and Zen. They both awkwardly look away as they diverted their eyes towards a wall.

"-Are you jealous that Kiroyuki has been hanging out with someone else lately?"

I blinked a few times while in a blank state and looked at Obi's plastered grin of mischief.

"What do you mean- (when you nod your head yes, but you want to say no~..... Yes! Goodbye Justin bieber- or however you spell his name! :p)"

"She's been showing Prince Eugena around two days ago and another Prince named Niel from a faraway country! She's been busy with those two princes the past three days!"

I let a small pang of jealously in my chest and sighed. I blankly looked up to Obi and looked back at the clothing that were still in my hands.

"If the ball is in three days from today...why am I receiving this right now?..."

"Well we need to make sure it suits you!" Mitsuhide excitedly exclaimed as he pumped his fist in the air.

"...." I responded silently with a stare.

"Hurry up and change! We'll be outside the door so come get us when you're done!" They all shouted in unison and bolted out of the room with a thud of the door slamming. Sighing, I striped my sweat her off and looked at the fancy clothing.

'I thought Kiroyuki wasn't to expose herself to the guests before the ball...  The whole castle staff promised to not say a word and plus...I never heard of Prince Niel... I'm pretty sure Prince Eugena is Raji's younger sibling. I hope to see Kiroyuki before the ball....'

Obi's POV
Sighing, I grinned and took out my notebook and wrote of a possibility of two new rivals. Snickering, I closed my notebook and noticed the stares I got from master and Mitsuhide.

"Shhh... It's nothing~" I winked and placed the notebook back into my inside pocket.

"I really hope Ryu and Kiroyuki would get together!" I nodded my head along with Mitsuhide's wish and sighed.

"You know, I think if Ryu as a little bro! He seems to be opening up a lot more since Kiroyuki had came to Clarines!" Grinning, I looked over to master.

"I can't agree more... She's took a toll on all of us actually..."

*knock knock*

Turing our heads to the side, Ryu opened the door as he revealed himself in rather dashing clothing that suited best for him. We all smiled in approval and grinned as we took a step forward towards Ryu. (Not gonna rape the cinnamon roll)

"You know what Ryu?" Ryu silently stared back at me. "I think Kiroyuki should be in her office right now! Why don't we go over there once you change back! Don't want to spoil your looks before the big day now!"

Zen, Mitsuhide, and I all pushed Ryu back into the room and slammed the door on him as we barracked the door with our bodies. Mitsuhide seemed to struggle the most because he felt guilty of doing such "mean" things to the poor kid.

Ten minutes later.... Ryu's POV
I slowly opened the door back open as Mitsuhide fell back and landed right below my feet and cheekily smiled nervously. I looked up the the other two males and stared at them aimlessly.

"....." Silence....

"Well let's go now!"

My arm was quickly grabbed hold on both sides from Obi and Mitsuhide and Zen led the way to Kiroyuki's office. I felt dizzy from my swaying body as they ran through the halls while trying not to ruin the decorations.

In front of Kiroyuki's office doors....

"W-we...finally...m-made it!" Dropping to the ground, Mitsuhide cried crocodile tears as he slouched onto the ground while trying to support himself. Apparently, Obi accidentally punched Mitsuhide's guts during the run.

"Well let's go in!" Besides I could say anything, Obi slammed the door open with a childish grin and loudly greeted Kiroyuki.

"Good evening to you miss Kiroyuki! Oh! Good evening to you too Prince Eugena and princess Rona! It's been awhile!"

"Good evening to you too evil cat writer-Obi!" Kiroyuki smiled and looked over to the right to where Mitsuhide, Zen, and I were standing at. "Hello to you too Mitsuhide, Zen, and Ryu!"

Kiroyuki brightly smiled towards me with the same warmth in her eyes as I felt a loss of words. I looked over to the newly placed twin chairs in front of Kiroyuki's desk and looked directly into the other two's eyes. The pair of twins but opposite genders were both dressed formally in proper attire and looked to be around my age as well. I looked to the male twin to my left and noticed the awe look in his eyes towards Kiroyuki. I felt my chest and stomach churn with a twist of aging but kept my form with an a motionless expression.

"Oh Zen!" I looked back to Kiroyuki as she held this mischievous glint in her eyes. "Shirayuki came by my office earlier and asked your whereabouts! She's currently with Raji in the medical wing!... But Kiki went with her to make sure he doesn't do anything funny but it's funnier to see you get jelly!"

I looked over to Zen as he held a blank face of irritation as he twitched slightly but kept his image clear and serious in front of the guests. He cleared his throat and turned towards the door. I guess he wasn't able to hear Kiroyuki's last bit of information. But then again, Zen can easily get jealous...

"Thank you Kiroyuki. Mitsuhide! You're coming with me!" Mitsuhide sweat dropped and nodded his head and greeted us off properly in front of the two royal guests.

"Well that was enjoyable!" Obi grinned in enjoyment and walked over to the pair of twins.

"I certainly hope that you two are behaving this time? Right princess Rona?" I tilted my head in confusion as I noticed the girl with dull brown hair pout in anger.

"Hmph! Why wasn't Eugena addressed?!" I sweat dropped and mentally sighed as I felt out of place.

"You're the one that drags me along Rona...."

"S-shut up!"

As the twins, which I identified clearly as the girl being Rona and the boy being Eugena continued to "argue", Kiroyuki cleared her throat to gain our attentions.

"Excuse Princess Rona and Prince Eugena, do I have both of your arguments to not speak of my existence to all."

Kiroyuki's voice sounded firm and less questionable. It was awe inspiring to see her serious and calm when dealing with others.

"Of course princess Kiroyuki of Hyoushou and Clarines!" Rona cheerfully an excitingly chimed as I quickly noticed the quick change of look in Kiroyuki's pair of blue eyes.

"Thank you." Smiling ever more gently, Kiroyuki called me over to my side as she stood up. "I would like for both of you to meet Ryu, my best and trusted friend! He's a court herbalist here in the castle!"

I was shocked with the contact that Kiroyuki made as she attached herself to my arm with a bright smile. I noticed the distant and hurt look in Prince Eugena's eyes.

Looks like I have a love rival for Kiroyuki's heart...
