Kiroyuki's POV
'Ugh!... I can't believe I kissed Ryu's cheek last night! Not only that but before that, he comforted me in an embrace!.... I don't think I could face him!...'

I slammed my forehead onto my desk and groaned in pain and frustration. I let silence engulf the room until I sprung my head back up and brought up both of my hands. I widened the distance between my hands and slapped my cheeks, releasing a loud echo of the slap. I didn't flinched and rubbed my cheeks as I pouted greatly at my pounding chest...

'I hope my glare would break down this wall.... I think I should take a break from planning. I've finished the invitations and food decisions... I guess I could drop off the invitations to Izana and maybe I could introduce myself to the soldiers... Maybe I'll even ask Izana if I could train them soon... Yay!'

I smiled to myself and sprung up from my chair as I walked over to a organized velvet box that held the invitations. I picked it up carefully and jolted out of the door while remembering to close it before I started off.

I had already received the letter back from the chefs awhile back and asked chief Garak some harmonious combinations for the courses of food. I had taken her say in the types of spices and herbs to each dish and told the chef and while I was taste testing... It was marvelous! It tasted so heavenly and exotic!

Humming to myself down the countless hallways, I glanced out to the beauty of the blue sky. I gazed in awe as my attention was distracted to the sky blue sky with fluffy lumps of white fairy floss. The wind would breeze against the tree tops making it sway in union. Leaves scattered across the tan stone brick path as birds chirped to harmonize with the wind.

With this distraction, I had bumped into a wall... Well more of a wall of a human figure...

I had dropped the box that I was holding onto and was on the floor rubbing my head. I opened my eyes to find a rather certain person that I didn't want to see today.

My mouth was agape and my eyes were wide in a flustered moment.... It was Ryu... He too had fallen onto him bottom and got up while I was still,on the ground. His eyes widened as his cheeks turned to the slightest shade of pink.

"Hi Kiroyuki. Sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going..." He reached his hand out in front of me as I twitched a bit of the thought of touching his hand. I took my hand into his anyways and stood up.

"S-sorry Ryu... I wasn't l-looking where I was g-going either..." He nodded his head as I began picking up scatters letters of invitations. Ryu bent down to my level and also picked up some of the invitations as I felt a small burning passion rising to my cheeks.
"R-Ryu, you don't have to pick them up. It was my fault..." He shook his head and finished picking up the rest of the pile and placed them back into the box neatly.

"No, it's fine. It was also my fault... Plus I've already finished picking them up." I nodded my head and got up as he did the same. He picked up his book besides him as a certain shining object caught my eye. Not only that, but something else did too.

"Oh, you're wearing the scarf! You're also using the pendant! That's good! Is the scarf itchy? Oh and t-thank you for helping m-me." He pulled up the scarf to cover half of his face and nodded his head.

"Yeah, I like the scarf and it's not itchy... It's actually warm and soft. The pendant is pretty too..." I smiled with a small bit of burning fire on my cheeks and sighed in relief. My heart was pounding loudly inside of my chest.

"T-thank goodness! I was n-nervous if the s-scarf was uncomfortable or not because I c-couldn't tell! It was worth m-making it!"

"Are those invitations for the upcoming ball that you've mentioned of?" I nodded my head with a hum.

"Yeah. I'm going to Izana right now to hand these over to him. After that, I plan on doing some other business..."

"Oh... Then I'll let you get to it. Bye Kiroyuki." I nodded my head and smiled one last time before Ryu left.

"Bye Ryu! Thank you again!" My heart was still beating loudly inside of me and my knees felt weak. My cheeks felt hot like a dragon's breath...but not that I know of a dragon's breath because I don't, but I'm pretty sure that's how it feel right now!

I sighed and decided to move along to Izana's office where that's the place where he should be at the moment. My cheeks and heart felt normal now and I had arrived at Izana's office. Heaving out another sigh, I knocked onto the door carefully since I was carrying the box.

"Come on." I opened the door barely enough for me to fit in and closed the door with my foot once I entered. He looked up from his desk and smiled at me.

"Hello Kiroyuki, how's the planning gone so far?" I smiled back and walked closer to the front of his desk.

"Well I've finished the invitations and they're in the box here. I've finished with the food decisions and I'm near finished with the decoration planning... So I'd say it's going swell..."

"You could set the invitations on my desk..." I nodded my head and did as he said as he looked up from his paperwork. "I also assume that you have something else on your mind Kiroyuki?" I nodded my head and shifted in my spot as Izana gave me an encouraging smile.

"I was wondering if I could introduce myself to the guards before the ball and perhaps train them. I wanted to get your permission first Izana..." Izana had a rather surprised and amused expression.

"Well I see you're quite eager to help so I suppose you could introduce yourself later this evening, but the training would have to be hold up until tomorrow. I'll let you handle the rest of their training menus." Izana smiled as I brightened up and gleamed while jumping up and down.

"That's fine! I just want to meet everyone! It's a plus for me to even train them tomorrow! I hope I'll be accepted by them!" I waved my fists around in determination and excitement as Izana just chuckled at my silly actions.

"I'm honored that you're excited. I'm also very positive that you'll be accepted by the soldiers and guards. You have three hours until evening so you could go study with Ryu as your free time if you'd like." I popped like a bubble and felt heat rising up to my cheeks as I turned sideways to hide my blushing face.

"I've just forgotten... Why...." I mumbled to myself as I pouted. Izana again chuckling at my reaction.

"If I'm correct, you're blushing because of the kiss at the party." Even more heat rises up to my face as I whipped my head to face Izana and shook my head vigorously.

"I-I have no i-idea what you are t-talking about Izana!" I shuffled in my spot and coughed to lessen my heated face of fire. Izana was smirking like he was victorious and I glared at him. "You know... You kinda remind me of Mitsuhide, Kiki, and Obi when you smirk like that...."

"Oh really?... Well I obviously know what your true feelings are so I suggest you to hurry along if you don't want to waste precious time with him." He smirked victoriously again as I just sweat dropped along with the burning sensation and pounding heart.

"Y-yeah... I'll see you later Izana bro... I'll finish the decoration planning after I introduce myself some time later." He nodded his head in approval as I left his office with a huge sigh and felt my cheeks burning even more as my chest was pounding deeply due to my restless heart.

'How am I gonna face Ryu when I'm going to have to sit next to him! So I like him?.... No I think I'm just embarrassed about kissing a boy on their cheek....'
