The door reopened to reveal a more softer faced Ashildr and the Doctor standing beside her. Missy gave a small smile and tears started to form in Ashildr's eyes. She had finally found her mother and though she looked like an extra from some Victorian drama, she was hers. Ashildr ran straight for Missy, arms outstretched and went for a hug. Missy held her tight in her arms, never to let her go again. All three of them walked back to the TARDIS, like a real family. A slightly dysfunctional, Time Lord family/hybrid...

Donna's eyes crinkled as she woke up. "Space maaaaaan! Where the Hell are you?" A banging pain came to her head and she started remembering her adventures, one by one. But backwards. She remembered the Daleks and their leader, Darvos? It was all coming back, like twinkling stars appearing in the night sky, eventually covering it in silver stardust. But that also meant that the day had to disappear for the stars to shine and in this case the day was her life.
"Donna?" said the Doctor peeking around the side of the door. "What's wrong?"
"Davros. I... I remember him. And the Daleks, they were going to destroy reality". His eyes widened in realisation and horror.
"You know what happens next, don't you?"
"I know. Hello memories, goodbye Donna. It's okay, I want this to happen".
"But I don't. You're my best mate. My only mate maybe".
"You're not mating with me sunshine", she whispered, coughing as the Doctor came over to her bed and knelt down beside her. She was weak, but still had her will. "Will it hurt?"
"No. It will be as painless as I can get it".
"What do you mean, 'as I can get it'?"
"I put a safety mechanism on your mind so that if you started remembering it would burn them away immediately. Missy broke through the first barrier which gave you your memories back, but didn't stop the mechanism from sensing that you had your memories back. So once all your memories are back in place the mechanism will keep trying to burn them away, your mind in the process".
"So slow painful death then", she sighed and leant back more on her pillow. "What's the alternative?"
"I completely remove the mechanism and it will burn your mind immediately, memories intact".
"Do me a favour before I go Doctor".
"Yes, yes, of course, anything".
"Show me the constellations of Kasterbourus?" He stood up, stroking Donna's auburn hair and he nodded. Then, he walked out, looking around at Donna before disappearing into the console room.

"How is she?" asked Missy, with her legs slung over the side of the armchair, putting a fresh coat of red polish on her nails.
"Dying", he replied. "And there's nothing I can do about it".
"Well, do what I do, consider your options".
"You wanna know my options?" His voice started to get angrier, not over the fact that he couldn't do anything about it, but the fact that she was dying full stop. "It's either kill her or watch her die". Missy turned quiet, but after a few moments thought and some pacing, she turned towards him.
"What about Clara?"
"Look Missy I'm sorry but one companion at a time". She rolled her eyes at his ignorance ("I mean seriously does he even listen", she thought).
"Oh my God, she has a Mire healthkit!" His face suddenly twisted into realisation and he quickly hopped forward towards her. Gently he held her by the shoulders and planted a kiss on her forehead. Feeling rather cheeky, she grabbed him by the arms of his tartan overcoat and crashed into his lips.
"Thank you, you gorgeous little beauty", he called, running up and down the metal steps.
"Now come on, stop flapping. How you going to find her?"
"Uh, the, um". He stopped suddenly, thinking wildly.
"Oh, see now this is the reason why I had to do your Time Lord exams to pass. Stop overthinking it, think about what you have here and what you can do with it".
"She's used this console before, so her genetic code will be on here. We can just track it".
"Now you see. Come on then, love. Get on". He then started to rush around, pulling out lots of different pieces of equipment and after a few minutes the TARDIS was whirring again towards their next location.
