"C-Cam..." Nate frowned at me. I sighed, not expecting our reunion to be like this. I have to get my dream catcher back. I can't move without Cresselia to help me... Why did he even take my dream catcher in the first place?

I pulled my arm away and walked towards the forest "Don't follow me. I need that dream catcher..." arms wrapped themselves around me, pulling me into Nate's shaking body "Nate..."

"You idiot! Why didn't you say anything?! I've been suffering this entire time..." he sobbed "You're alive... Thank Arceus" I frowned, feeling tears running down my face like a waterfall "I miss you"

"You... What?" He turned me around to look at his crying face "Nate..." he held my cheeks.

"All this time... I felt like I wasn't doing my job right. No matter how hard I worked, it was never enough. What happened to you-" I lost balance and fell on his torso. He held me up while I felt my heart beating so fast "Cam!"

"You called me Cam... Finally. I was sick of hearing you call me by my full name" I chuckled and pushed myself away a bit "This wasn't how I wanted you to see me. I have to get that dream catcher back... It's the reason why I'm alive now" I squeezed his arms "It's the reason why I've had energy. I have to go"

"I'm not letting you out of my sight again! I'm coming with you" I stared at his determined face and smiled, holding his cheeks "You're different..."

"I might be different, but my feelings for you never changed. I couldn't tell you the truth. I wanted to wait until I had some answers... but that darkness can come back if I don't have that dream catcher" he kneeled down with his back towards me and reached for the back of my knees to force me to fall on him and lift me up "N-Nate!" He turned to Hugh and Rosa.

"Let everyone know we're leaving for an emergency! We're off!" He ran into the dark forest with one purpose in mind. I stared at him running while making sure I stayed on his back. It made me smile and hug his neck.

"Thank you, Nate..." I said.

"Don't thank me yet! We still need to get the-"

"No, I mean... Thank you for giving my life meaning" he stopped and looked back at me "If we never met, if I never told you about my nightmares, or never shared a room together, you wouldn't have thought to get me that dream catcher. It saved my life... If I never told you anything, we wouldn't have this moment right now" I hugged him close "I really do love you, Nate. Ever since we were little... Even when you were crying on your own in the forest. I loved your determination and trueness. I don't care if you don't love me back... I just enjoyed everything. I don't mind having this last moment with you"

"You're not going to have a last moment. Zoroark! Come out!" He threw his Poké ball with a larger version of the Zorua from before and got it to smell my hands to follow the scent of the dream catcher. It sniffed the air and went off on the run. Nate quickly followed after.

I kept my eyes on how determined Nate was to find this dream catcher for me. It made me so happy... Even after lying to him this entire time, he's still willing to drop everything just to help me.

Zoroark took us to a wide open area with four large cuts on a stone wall, that looked like a snowflake. Zigzag was laying on the snow face down with the dream catcher in hand.

"What happened..?" Nate asked. I looked around, having a bad feeling about this. The atmosphere around here felt dark... Where we were was darker. There was no sign of light, which made it harder to see.

"Chandelure!" I send out to give us light in this dark night. By the time light had appeared, something dark came out of Zigzag's body. I whimpered terrified while Nate held me close.

"It's the darkness..." I felt myself shaking "I don't want to die... This is the only promise I want to take back" I looked up at the shadow growing above us "I won't give you back my body!" I shouted.

"You said you will give it to me in exchange for power... Give it to me!" It struck at us. I shouted loudly while Nate held me close, fearing for our life. A strange sound that sounded like a sword slashing something appeared. I looked up and was astounded to see the Swords of justice in front us, facing the shadow hissing in pain.

"This isn't a good time!" Nate shouted.

"No! It's okay!" I smiled "They're not here to kill me this time..." there was a forth member with them that we never encountered in the wild.

"GIVE ME YOUR BODY!!" Darkrai raged and went off on the four legendary Pokémon. Nate set me down and went around the battle to go towards Zigzag. No! Stop! What is he doing!?

"Nate..." I bit my nails, nervous to see him doing something so reckless. I kept my eyes on him just in case something happened.

The Swords of justice fought hard for me against Darkrai. There were multiple times when Darkrai waved its arm to attack, but they were so quick that it seemed impossible to touch them.

Nate eventually made it to Zigzag and grabbed my dream catcher, lifting it high for me. Great! He should also focus on getting Zigzag back to safety as well. He was likely possessed by Darkrai, and was why he was able to run so fast for an old and big man.

Darkrai noticed Nate behind it and turned to me to grab me by the hair and lift me in the air "Let go!" I shouted, trying to get free from it holding me like a rag doll.

"Cam!" Nate shouted. I held out the knife I still had in hand and cut my way to freedom by cutting a large chunk of my hair and fell on the ground. Nate ran my way and held me close. Darkrai became furious and flew at us, causing the dream catcher to shine and release Cresselia from the light and face Darkrai. Darkrai backed off from the light that surrounded her. I played with my now short hair while Nate stared at me while Cresselia took care of the rest with the others.

"Nate!" I glared at him "Why would you do something so reckless!?"

"I had to make sure you were okay. Plus, this guy could get hurt. Are you okay..? Dammit... I should've stayed put. I just keep messing up" I got on my knees to hold his face "Cam..."

"You better not have tried to sacrifice yourself for my sake. That's my job" I joked, which made him chuckle. The shine came back towards us. Cresselia was floating beside the Swords of justice beside her "That was fast" I chuckled "Is Darkrai gone..?"

"I have vanished it from here, but the god of the new moon can make more. I don't believe it'll bother you again" I sighed in relief "You are very brave" She told Nate "Continue to protect her... I will do my part until she gets better" she sunk back into the dream catcher. Nate turned to me and tied the string around my neck, giving me my energy back.

"Thank you..." I smiled and looked at the four in front of us "Thank you for fighting hard. I'm grateful for you being here" one of the unknown Pokémon came up to me and bumped its head on mine, making me laugh. My Pokédex went off inside Banette, identifying it to be a Keldeo.

"I'm just grateful they're not here to kill us anymore" Nate sweat dropped "We got enough of that" I laughed and rested on his torso "Cam?"

"I'm so glad you're okay... Why don't we get back to the party?" I sent Oricorio out to help us with Zigzag while Nate made a call and Chandelure and the Swords of justice guided us through the dark forest back to where Alder's place was.

As we were exiting the forest, a firework show appeared in the sky. I instantly freaked out at the sudden explosion and hugged Nate's arm, frightened

"This will take some getting use to" Nate smiled, petting my head, making me blush. Everyone was outside, watching the show and catching the snow falling from the sky. I caught a snowflake in my hand while Nate guided Oricorio to take Zigzag to the ambulance already here and talk to the cops standing by.

"Camie!" Rosa ran over to me with Hilda "You're alright! What happened to your hair?!" She held the ends of my hair "I was getting worried! What happened?!" I played with my hair.

"I'm not upset about it. I've been needing a haircut anyway" my hair reached down to my shoulders, so it wasn't really all that short, but it certainly did feel lighter.

"Looks great on you" Hilda smiled "You shouldn't worry so much. She's a champion"

"I don't care! I was worried about my sister!" Rosa pouted. Hugh pet her head to calm her down.

"She's more than capable of taking care of herself. Calm down, dork" Rosa pouted even more "I'm glad Nate remembers..." he told me "Even if he didn't, he would had still gone with you. I'm glad he's finally calmed down"

"You two are together, right?" I asked. Rosa smiled and hugged his arm, happily. Hugh blushed and looked the other way, trying to look cool.

"He told me that he didn't know I felt this way, but was happy to give me a chance" I snorted and crossed my arms.

"Well, I hope you do a good job. Take care of my sister" I smiled. Iris came from under the snow and shouted to scare me, which was successful and I ended up falling back. She then grabbed my hand, laughing at me.

"Camilla! Let's build a snowman!" I chuckled and promised to meet her there with Hugh's sister and some of Alder's students who came with their parents. 

"You two came from a dark forest" Phoenix and his friends came up to me "That sounds very sketchy" I snorted and held Echo and Knights hand so they can remember me.

"It's not what you think! You dummy" I smiled at Echo and Knight staring at me surprised "Want to make a snowman too?"

"I want to" Fang smiled. I nodded and headed off to make snowman with everyone for the fun of it. Waiting for Nate to finish and come back.

Almost everyone from the party ended up making dozens of snowmen all over the place. This made me and the kids laugh, imagining these snowmen were part of the party and it just got bigger.

"That's so funny" Jennie laughed.

"It looks like we can fill a stadium!" Iris laughed. I looked over to see Nate running back towards me and take my hands.

"How is Zigzag?" I asked.

"Zinzolin is fine" he chuckled "He's being taken care of. I already told my coworkers what happened" I nodded and looked at our hands connected "Cam" he brought me into a unexpected hug "I'm so glad you're okay" I smiled and hugged him back "You're alive... I'm sorry I keep messing up"

"You're fine! You were every reason why I'm still here today... I'm alive because of you" I pulled back to smile at him, finding him crying. I chuckled and held his cheek "Don't cry snowman, not in front of me... who will catch your tears if you can't catch me, darling? If you can't catch me, darling..." I wiped his tears away as I sung to him "I want you to know that I'm never leaving. Cause I'm Mrs. snow, 'till death will be freezing. You are my home, my home for all seasons. So come on, let's go..." I held his hands and spun around with him, laughing while he smiled at me having fun and purposely let go to throw me into a snowman I made. I laughed with snow all over me and stopped when watching him kneel to me.

"Cam" he called. I stared at his red cheeks confused "You have no idea how happy I am to know you're alive" I chuckled.

"You can't get rid of me that easily-"

"I thought I was going to lose you" I frowned "I devoted my time that year to make sure you stayed on my side. I took care of you and held your hand to keep you out of trouble. When we were on the search, I always noticed how much you loved life and was very selfless. Everyone else mattered more to you than yourself. I always admired your way of thinking, even if some things are a bit too much" he weakly chuckled.

"Selfless and considerate... I was never trying to be like that. I left you on your own and only thought about what I felt. You have a big heart... and it made me want to take care of you more. I wanted you to live..." he pointed at my necklace he gave me.

"I couldn't stand the thought of not doing it after all I put you through. Even after I've forgotten you, I felt like there was always something I was missing. Being by you made me complete. I might have liked Rosa, but I came to realize she isn't the one I fell in love with" I flinched as he took my hand "You never judged me... not even once. You teased me a lot, but that only added to how great you are. I'm sorry for leaving you... I'm sorry for forgetting" I felt myself tearing up at every word he said. Him holding my hands didn't help "I fell in love with who you were long before I realized it. Even after I forgot, you made me feel whole. Cam... I love you" I cupped my mouth, shaking hard, and not because I was cold either "and I'm not just saying that. Not because you and Rosa look the same, or because you're pretty and cool..." he blushed hard when admitting that "but because you've always been great and good to me"

"Nate..." I sobbed "Seriously?" I jumped him onto the snow and hugged him "You have no idea how happy I am..." I planted a kiss onto his lips unexpectedly, making him turn even more red and pass out. I laughed and turned to everyone watching us. Rosa clapped happily while everyone else smiled and supported me. I smiled big and pulled Nate up after he woke up.

"That was what I dared you to do earlier. About time" Hilda stuck her tongue out playfully. I laughed and came up to Nate's confused face.

"I love you too!" I told him, making him snap out of it "I love you! I wanted to hide these feelings from you when you've been so kind to me. I felt like I couldn't take you away from what you really wanted, but I'm glad you chose me" I hugged him "Nate-kun!" I laughed "So hap-py!" Nate chuckled and hugged me back, giving me his warmth in the cold snow we were on.

"So am I" he held me close "Thank you for sticking around" I smiled big, feeling my heart grow the more I hold him like this. I'm so happy...

"Isn't that nice?" Bianca walked up to us, late for the party "Are we late?"

"Only about a few hours" Cheren sighed. Bianca nervously laughed.

"Don't worry. The party is still ongoing all night!" Alder grabbed the two and hugged them. I giggled and looked at Hugh moving a hair from Rosa's forehead, making her blush and turn around to hide her face, confusing him. Hilda was holding N up from him slumping down super drunk. She didn't seem to mind and just patted his back. Everyone has somebody... It was all so cute!

A hand held my chin and turned me to look at Nate being so close to my face, making me freeze at his smirk looking at my mouth "W-What are you..?"

"You know... You teasing me while I didn't remember you was dangerous" steam came out my burning face "I could hardly keep my hands to myself" he held my cheeks "I didn't do anything. I promise" he chuckled "but I really wanted to do this" he leaned into my lips to passionately kiss me. I melted in his hands and embraced the kiss between us.

He let go and placed his forehead on mine. I was controlling how fast my heart was beating and caught something in the corner of my eye. I looked over and quickly stood up to see my dad waving at me.

"Oh my Arceus..." I snatched Rosa away from Hugh and ran her into the field where he was. Rosa was confused until I spoke to him "Dad!" Rosa gasped and looked around.

"Daddy...?" Rosa frowned

"Dad! Where have you been all this time?" I frowned

"The darkness needed a host to stay around. My spirit remained inside the darkness inside of you" He smiled and pet our heads. Rosa froze and felt his presence "I'm glad you ended up okay... I'm so proud of you two"

"Daddy..." Rosa started crying "What is he saying..?" I started crying with her and repeated what he said "Daddy. I'm sorry I left you! I never hated you! I shouldn't have picked sides" she closed her eyes "Thank you for taking care of Camie" she hugged my arm "I don't know what I would've done without her..."

"I'm sorry I couldn't save you..." I told him "But I don't regret anything. I might've done some bad things in my life, but I never stopped forgetting where it came from. You may have looked over me and was disappointed to see what I did, but it's not your fault" I closed my eyes, wiping my tears away.

"I don't blame you for anything. Thank you for trying to save me, but I only wished you saved yourself. You're alive... That's all that matters" he said. I nodded "Take care of everything... I trust you to do the right things" I nodded, watching him walking away until he disappeared. I sighed and hugged Rosa.

"Did he leave..?" I nodded "Was he happy..?"

"He was proud... It's all okay now" she nodded and hugged me tightly, having our moment before going back to our boyfriends. Rosa tackled Hugh on the snow while Nate ended up catching me when I jumped him and spin me in the air. I laughed, feeling more happy than I've ever felt.

Finally... My reasons to live are finally fulfilled. My sister is safe and happy, Hilda is back home with N, Melanie has rested after meeting Hilda, dad is happy... and Nate is mine. Mine... Nothing can be better than this. Thank you... for everyone who made my life worthwhile. I officially feel alive.
