When hanging out with Nate in the party, careful to not touch anything but the dress shirt he was wearing, I had to introduce myself to his friends, since they were persistent on knowing what happened to me.

I explained how jumpy I normally was, which was unbelievable by Fang, who knew exactly who I was from him catching me and my plate earlier, but he didn't bother bringing up the past since nobody else was bringing it up. It was refreshing that he didn't say anything, so he just drank. It made me glad that he didn't see me different after experiencing what I've done in person.

As I was talking with Nate and his friends, I had the erg to get more food. Nate offered to get me some when I mentioned I was going to get more. He's so sweet.

"Never really seen Nate like that before" Echo, or Olivia, said after finishing her glass of wine "He's usually so serious. He's a cop now, so I expect it came from that, but I don't know" she held her chin, looking at me "It feels like deja vu when we're in a group talking to yah. It's like we spoken before, but we never met... Right?" I nervously laughed

"I think you're a sweet girl" Phoenix smiled "You seemed off a little weird, but I shouldn't judge too much" I blinked confused. Does he mean what I think he means? "I can just tell you make Nate happy. I don't know why you guys aren't dating yet"

"Doesn't he like another girl?" Knight, with his real name being Yuuji, asked. Phoenix laughed

"So?" he winked at me. Something about that wink made me feel weird. What did he mean by everything he's been saying? Does he remember me?

"Camie!" Rosa pulled on my hand "Come over here. We're gonna spin the bottle in a circle. It'll be fun"

"Spin the bottle? Is that something you do in New Years party?" I asked

"Not really, but it sounds fun" Echo chuckled "Are we doing adult things? How old are you two anyway?" Rosa and I looked at each other

"20" we said at the same time. A draft blew pass Echo, like she was shocked that we said we were actually 20. We look younger than we were, but my body was preserved for a whole year, so I'm technically still 19

"I think you broke her" Fang said

"She still holds onto her youth by a thread" Phoenix laughed, making Echo snap and chase after him. Rosa and I giggled before taking her suggestion to pay the game and went into a group circle with her and the rest of Nate's friends, followed by Nate who had my food in hand

"Oh!" He gave me a plate full of food "Thank you!" I smiled and sat beside him in the group circle and started munching down on everything.

"You eat a lot" Hilda sweat dropped "And you're still so skinny... lucky" I chuckled

"Well, I like to eat. But even so, I need to eat a lot to regain energy" I admit

"Regain energy? Are you tired?" Nate asked "I don't know why I gave you so much food. I just thought you'd want that much" it was obvious on how much I ate during our journey, so he knows I like to eat, despite memory loss "Is that alright?"

"It's perfect!" Rosa told everyone how the game works and there will have to be restrictions just in case this game of truth or dare gets too far. This game is a bit dangerous... don't yah think? Especially with Nate next to me?

The game started off well and a lot of our friends chose to do truth instead of dares because of how scared they were. To those who have chose dare, they were forced to drink more alcohol than usual and drink a shot given to them. When I chose to do dare, my nose started bleeding from the embarrassment while everyone was wooing Nate and I to kiss. Why did I choose Dare?!!

"Uh..." I cleaned up my mess "Can I change my choice?"

"No way! You chose dare!" Hilda dared me. I nervously laughed, not wanting to do this. I mean... I kissed him before, but that was different! I can't do this!

"Hilda-chan!" I whined "I-It's not like that!" I shyly looked at Nate staring at the floor. Oh Arceus! He's uncomfortable too! "U-Um..." I panicked and looked around for something to help me while everyone kept repeating me to kiss him. I ended up taking off my scarf from my head

"Come on... Don't tease her like that" Nate blushed. I stretched out my scarf in front of him so he wouldn't see how embarrassed I was "Cam-" I leaned into his face to kiss him between my scarf so there wasn't a direct contact.

After that kiss, I place my scarf over my head and cupped my face, hearing everyone cheer me on while I felt Nate staring at me. I don't want to see how he was looking at me! I'm so embarrassed!

"How cute!" Rosa held her cheeks in awe. Nate blushed and looked down "Alright! Time to spin!" I nervously nodded and spun the bottle around until it landed on Nate. Seriously?! "Nate's turn! Camie! You say the magic words!" I blushed and looked at Nate staring at me. I held in my nose bleed and pulled on my scarf against my head.

"O-Oh... okay" I looked down, thinking of what I should say after he chooses a choice "Truth or dare..?" He thought for a moment.

"Truth"

"Awe come on man! Choose dare!" Phoenix laughed. 

"Seriously? You pick truth?" Hugh asked, smirking. I cupped my face while everyone continued on teasing him. I kept my scarf on my head and thought of the best thing to say that won't make things awkward.

"Tell me about your job" Nate looked at me surprised "You were promoted to the best cop, from what Looker said. Tell me about that!" He kept that expression on his face before spilling out the wonderful things he's done while telling them like a child telling a story.

I smiled at Nate the entire time he was telling everyone in the circle the different things he experienced while being a cop. I took in the positive feedback everyone was telling him and ignoring the stares I was receiving.

Everyone could tell I was deeply invested in everything he was talking about and I did not take my eyes off him for one second. It had gotten to the point where everyone was into how I was reacting instead of what Nate was talking about.

"And that's how I ended up my bosses best cop" Nate finished.

"I'm so happy to see you invest in something you love" I smiled. He looked at me and blushed.

"Y-Yeah..." he looked down "I honestly don't remember how I got the job, but it was the opportunity of a life time and I'm so glad I could serve justice" Phoenix wrapped his arm around him to tease him about his job while Hugh leaned over to me.

"Why are you making him wonder why he can't remember shit?" He asked me. I flinched, not expecting that question "Just tell him already. You've been staring at him the entire time" Rosa patted his knee while beside him.

"She's just shy. She's going to do it!"

"Why? That's a load" he snorted "but I shouldn't judge someone I didn't really get to know. It wasn't you that weirded me out. It was whatever that shit was"

"She's a different person, after all. This is the Camie that hid most when we were little. She was always shy and scared of strangers, but we grow up. I'm happy that she's back home" Rosa smiled. I smiled and patted Hugh's knee, making Rosa confused.

"Hey, remember what you said? Are you going to do it?" She flinched "I'm not really ready yet, but if you do the thing first, I'll do it after!" Her face went deep in red.

"What?! W-Well... I did say..." she cupped her face embarrassed.

"What happened?" Nate asked. Rosa played with her fingers before speaking.

"Um... Hugh?" Hugh stared at her "I... I need to tell you something"

"What is it?" He asked. Rosa wiggled side to side completely embarrassed before speaking.

"Outside!" She ran off. I laughed at how she reacted, but it's not so different from how I act.

"Oh? Is it finally going to happen?" Hilda giggled "About time"

"Isn't that nice" N smiled, slurring his words. Hilda sighed and shrugged, not able to say anything now that N became drunk.

Nate stared at Rosa running outside. Hugh stood up to follow, walking "What's going to happen?" Nate asked before heading out to follow them. I looked down and sighed. Hilda pet my head.

"Go ahead. It'll be alright. He likes you, after all" I pouted.

"You have no proof" I played with my fingers "I'm fine"

"Are you?" Phoenix smiled "It's pretty obvious that you like him. Come on, Princess" I flinched "Go get your Prince Blake" he winked. I cried out in panic in my head, realizing he probably remembered after I ran into him!

I looked at Fang looking up from his glass before nodding. Echo and Knight just looked confused. I gulped and hurried over outside to see Hugh and Rosa in the lit up battle field, facing each other while Nate hid behind the fence.

"I don't think that's a good hiding spot" I sweat dropped. He ignored me and watched what's happening between Hugh and Rosa carefully. I sighed, trying not to be nervous for her, since there's no way to know if Hugh even has feelings for her.

"H-Hugh..." Rosa stuttered, staring at her feet "W-We've been friends for a long time, huh?"

"Weird question. Of course we have. Since we were diapers, since your mom and my mom are good friends" she nodded "What's up? Why do you have to say outside? Is something wrong?"

"N-No! There's nothing wrong! I... I wanted to tell you something I've been holding in since I was little!" She looked up a little "Remember that time when my dad gave us our Pokémon and we went to the route to train them..?"

"Oh, yeah... I remember that. We got in trouble for being out so late. Nate ended up disappearing and we were out looking for him"

"Yeah! Exactly! I've been keeping this to myself, but that night... You protected me and held my hand. I was so scared, but you told me everything is going to be okay. When you said that..." she played with her hands very quickly. Hugh noticed and watched her do it "I felt so happy... I wanted to tell you for a long time that I..." she shut her eyes "I really really like you!" She blurted out "I think you're amazing and so cool! I've had a crush on you ever since!" She looked down deeply "I can't contain these emotions! I just really like you a lot! And I never felt this much emotion towards anyone else! So um... Yeah" she turned around "I wanted to finally tell you... Is that alright?"

Hugh's hair was covering the side of his face, so we couldn't see much emotion in them. I looked at Nate sitting against the fence, looking away from them and leaned his arms on his knees. I looked up at Hugh frowning at me.

Hugh knew Nate liked Rosa... I could tell he was just as surprised as Nate was. After all the effort he did, Rosa liked Hugh no matter what. I've known that. I never covered Nate's feelings away from her, even if my feelings for Nate are strong. I don't see Nate really liking me like he likes Rosa, but this is what Rosa wants. She likes Hugh...

Hugh looked down before walking up to take Rosa's shoulders, making her turn to look at him. I couldn't hear what he was saying, but Rosa ended up tearing up before jumping him for a hug. It's a positive reaction... That's what I'm happy about, but Nate...

"I should had known" Nate said "No matter how hard I worked, my feelings didn't go through. She actually liked Hugh" he forced a chuckle "I'm not mad... If anyone should have her, I would want it to be Hugh" his hair covered his eyes "I wish I was the one that protected her... maybe things would've been different" hearing that broke my heart, but I understood where he was coming from. Instead of being upset, I offered my hand to him as I lowered my scarf a little, making him look up at me and widen his eyes.

"Don't be sad. It's going to be okay" I smiled. Tears ran down his cheeks.

"Camilla..?" He reached his hand out. I peaked up to find someone in thick clothing storming towards Hugh and Rosa. I gasped and jolted off to make my way towards him before he could get closer to the distracted couple.

"Back off!" I shouted, jumping to kick the guy into the snow.

"You brat!" The guy glared. Seeing his face and clothes, I recognized him to be Zigzag from Team Plasma "Who do you think you are?!"

"I can ask the same thing!" I glared "What were you about to do to these two?!" I reached to grab his collar, but ended up grabbing his neck. The both of us freaked out. I didn't mean for that to happen.

"It's Zinzolin!" Hugh hid Rosa behind him. Nate ran towards me while Zigzag crawled backwards away from me.

"Of all places, what are you doing here?" Nate took out some handcuffs. I cupped my mouth a bit "I should have you arrested for potential violence and-" he noticed what I was doing, looking surprised "W-What..?"

"Nate! You naughty boy" I teased. Taking a moment to understand what I meant, he backed away fully red faced, which made me giggle before walking over to Zigzag crawling away from me "So what were you going to do?"

"You brats ruined Lord Ghetsis's plans..." he said.

"So what? Are you going to try to kill me like the Shadow triad tried?" I snorted. He glared at me and stood fast for being an old man and aimed a knife that came out his sleeve at me. I grabbed his arm while moving out the way and kneed his stomach, not too hard like I normally would've done in the past, to make him release the knife.

I felt a slight tug on the back of my neck. My body felt weaken and I suddenly collapsed onto the snow "Camie!" Rosa gasped and held me up on her lap. My breath was thickening and my body felt very tired. What's happened..?

"I'll get you for this..." Zigzag groaned while standing and walked away with my dream catcher in hand. No... No! Wait! Zigzag ended up running abnormally fast towards the forest.

"I... I got to go after him..." I shakily stood up and grabbed the knife he dropped. Rosa quickly stopped me before I could walk.

"No way! Forget him! You need rest!" I pushed her off and tiredly went to follow Zigzag. Nate grabbed my wrist with the knife in it. He didn't say anything. I slowly looked at him pale as paper and wearing a horrified look on his face.
