"H-Hello..." Nate noticed me after Hugh looked up, and stood up to come towards me.

"Camilla! What are you doing here? Do you know Hugh?" Nate asked.

"Rosa told me about Jennie. I wanted to see what's wrong" I admit and walked to her bedside, opposite of the boys, and felt her head. She was running a slight fever and was breathing heavily "How long has she been this way?"

"Hold on. Do I know you?" Hugh asked, suspicious "Oh wait! You're that girl that's friends with the champion of Sinnoh! I heard you also became champion..." he huffed. I giggled.

"I have. Thank you for noticing. Nice to see you again. I'm Rosa's big sister" I took out my first aid kit to take some measures.

"Big sister? She never said she had a sister"

"That's what I thought" Nate said "I was telling him about those feathers on your dream catcher and that they helped you with nightmares you were talking about. My mom said she didn't have any, so I was going to ask permission if I could borrow one after I tell Hugh about this" I nodded.

"She's been like this for about a week" Hugh finally said.

"That's not good for a young girl" I moved her hair from her forehead "As much as I want to help with these feathers on me, I'm afraid they already been used" I placed the dream catcher on Jennie's body to see if something would happen, but nothing did "I'll figure something out" I pulled it back and removed my jacket and was about to speak to Cresselia before Hugh said something.

"Wait, you have like 10 feathers and you used all of them? Why?" I sighed and just admit to what happened "A whole year!?"

"Yes. I've been asleep for an entire year, and even before that, I suffered from nightmares since I was young. I was lucky to be able to awaken after, but it doesn't make it better. I've expected to die, not go in a coma" I sighed "Once I woke up, I felt different and more alive, but I'm still in a horrible condition. I don't want that to happen to Jennie, so I'll do what I can. Please give me a moment" I put my hands together for a pray.

"I hear you loud and clear. Although I was brought down to assist you, I will give you assistance for the young one. Please open your hands" she told me. I opened my hands and watched a lunar wing appear over them. I gasped amazed and gently placed it over Jennie's body, watching it glow for a moment before it faded. Jennie groaned and opened her eyes.

"Jennie!" Hugh gasped "You're awake!" He started crying.

"Big brother..." Jennie sighed. Nate rushed out to get Hugh's mom "I had a scary dream..." Hugh pulled her in for a hug.

"I know... It's okay" I smiled at the moment and looked at Jennie look at me.

"Camie..." she pulled away to sit up and look at me "The moon goddess brought me back... Did you tell her to?" I pet her head.

"Yeah! Sure did!" Hugh's mom ran into the room and rushed to hug her daughter. I moved out the way and panicked when Hugh wrapped his arms around me. 

"Thank you so much!"

"Ahhh!" I panicked in place, not expecting that. He touched my face!!

He slowly moved away from me to look at my face. I panicked even more and lowered my scarf over my face.

"You!" He finally realized it. I panicked more and waved my hands to move away from him "What the hell? You-" I ran out the room.

"Don't look at me!" I ran out the apartment after everyone was calling for me to come back. I slowed down after enough cardio and sat on the snow after feeling exhausted. I coughed from hyperventilating. 

"So tired..." I caught my breath and sat on the snow "I forgot my jacket at his place..." I hugged myself and sighed "I have the feeling Hugh is gonna say something to Nate... I'm happy that I got to help, but I wish I didn't have to go into his own home" I hugged my legs "Darkrai went after Jennie... Now that she's fine, what's going to happen next?" Something warm landed on my shoulders. I jumped and looked up at Nate putting my jacket over me "N-Nate!"

"You ran out without a jacket. You'll freeze to death" I looked down and nodded "Thank you for saving Jennie..."

"No problem... I was happy to help. I wouldn't want anyone suffering like I did. I felt bad that my feathers couldn't help, but at least I was lucky to have been given one" he held his hand out to me. I took his glove with mine and got back on my feet.

"How did you do that?"

"I'm still curious myself" I know nothing of why the moon goddess chose to bring a piece of herself as Cresselia, to my side, so I won't say anything that I don't know about "I'm just glad she's okay. I was only out because I was going to get medicine. I already got some, so I'll be heading home" I walked away.

"Wait" I looked back at him "Hugh seemed like he knew you... even his mom. Is there something I'm missing?" I looked away "Are you mad at me? I didn't mean to leave you alone like that, but Hugh called me"

"I don't blame you. It's fine" I smiled at him "I'm feeling a lot better, but I'll need some rest. Will you be attending that party Rosa was talking about?"

"That New Years party next week? Yeah, I guess... I'm on vacation, so I don't really have much to do" I nodded.

"I'll see you there. Don't worry about taking care of the ranch. As soon as I get some rest, I'll do what I gotta do" he looked like he wanted to say something, but couldn't "Take some time for yourself. I'll reward you for all you've done for me without asking. What would you like?"

"I don't want anything. I just want to know... Camilla" he walked up to me "Who are you, really? I felt like I've known you before, but I can't put my finger on it. Your voice is beautiful and I'm mesmerized by it"

"So you are falling for me" I teased "Just kidding. Well, Nate... I can't really be honest with you yet" I'll have to ask Rosa to tell Hugh to keep his mouth shut "there's something I want to figure out on my own first" I held my dream catcher "And I don't want you to worry. Please, just take some time for yourself as I recover. You don't need to check up on me" I held his cheek at his hurt expression.

Nate was the only one who truly knew about my sacrifice, and I could tell he was deeply hurt about it. The only reason I can't tell him who I am, other than I wasn't ready, is due to me still needing to wear this dream catcher. If I don't have this on me, not only will I lose my borrowed energy, but I will be an easy target. That nightmare said enough...

"Can you wait a little longer? The last thing I want is to worry you more than you've been already" I asked.

"What do you mean?" I patted his chest and walked away again "Camilla!"

"I'll see you next week, alright?" I waved and headed home to get more rest.

For the rest of the week, I focused on getting better and get stuff done around the ranch. Because Oricorio was able to use psychic, I hardly had to move a finger.

The cute Mareep were secured and warm in their cabin and fed for the day. With all this work done, I should get ready for this party Rosa told me about. Apparently Hilda organized it and it's being held in Alder's place. Many of the gym leaders, Hilda's friends, and Rosa's friends are attending, only leaving me to go on my own. I was asked if I wanted to join Rosa to the party, but I didn't like to feel rushed after taking care of the ranch.

"Do you think everyone is there by now?" I asked as I started getting ready "What should I even wear?" The Banette's were wearing my wardrobe for me. I giggled, seeing it as my servants looking for their Princess's clothing or something "You all are so sweet" Rosa was calling me on the Xtransceiver "Hello?"

"Hey! Where are you?" She asked with Hilda on the screen with her.

"I'm getting ready for the party you threw" I said to Hilda "Where are you two?"

"We're outside!" Froslass flew off when hearing that and let them in "Camie!" Rosa called.

"I'm here!" She rushed to my bedroom to see my clothes all over the place "I don't have anything to wear"

"Well, what do you expect? You haven't shopped for the occasion" Hilda walked to me with a bag in hand to hand over "This is for you" I took the bag confused and took out a white dress with gold design "White is your best color, and gold just makes it better" I gasped at the pretty design and looked at the girls clothes they had on.

Rosa had a pink dress with white lace, which made her look adorable, and Hilda had a black dress with white corners, which made her look mature and elegant.

"You shouldn't have..." I blushed, hugging the dress "Thank you" Rosa took my hands.

"Come on! I'll do your hair for you!" I took a shower after working in the ranch and later let Rosa do my hair and Hilda did my makeup. It felt weird to have this attention, but I couldn't be happier to have my family here.

"So cute!" Rosa squealed happily as Hilda held up my mirror so I could look at my reflection. This was weird... I didn't look like myself, or Rosa "Your hair is so long that I can't really do much with it. Nate will definitely fall over heals for you!"

"I-I don't know what you're talking about..." I cupped my face "had Hugh told him anything?"

"I talked to him" Rosa said "He told me about this year long coma, and I told him what I knew. He won't say anything. What he thought about you wasn't truly you, so it's fine. You saved his sister and helped him find Liepard, after all. He shouldn't hold a grudge in whatever made him not like you in the first place" I sighed in relief, wondering where I ended up putting that finger "But I still feel that it's unfair that Hugh has to keep the reason he knows you from Nate. He's getting a bit upset lately, especially when you told him he shouldn't come over. He's been worried, you know?"

"I know... but I still haven't figured things out"

"Figure it out with him! You know he'll help! Why are you keeping him away?"

"Rosa, not everyone thinks the same" Hilda said "Camilla probably seen something in him that's prevented her from reminding him. She was with him the entire time. I'm sure he was more hurt because he knew what was going to happen" they frowned at me "he was the only one that knew"

"I thought to myself... If I let him remember, he's going to keep worrying about this darkness and make sure I have my dream catcher at all times. He probably won't leave me alone" I blushed and held my cheeks "That doesn't sound like a bad idea... but I haven't been able to figure it out on my own, so there's no room for anymore excuses. I'll tell him tonight" I sighed, looking at my appearance "I just hope he won't be mad at me..." Rosa hugged me from behind. 

"Your concern is your own excuse. I think he'll just be happy your alive" I smiled and left the house to head to Flocessy Town where Alder lived.

It was around evening, so the sky was getting dark, but there wasn't a moon around. Something about tonight made me feel like I have to be on my guard. Somebody's eyes were on us "I hope that doesn't mean anything" I said to myself.

"What?" Rosa asked. I shook my head and entered Alder's home where a bunch of my gym leader friends were around. Skyla was the first to see me and jumped to hug me.

"Camie!" She cuddled on my cheek "I miss you!" I chuckled and hugged her back. Many of the gym leaders came to say hello to me and the girls.

I got around to greeting everyone, even Alder and Benga, and nearly ran into someone in a suit. I looked up at that one actor I worked with while being Rosa's stunt double and got creeped out at how he was looking at me.

"H-Hi..." I responded.

"I see that you changed, miss Camilla"

"You remember me?"

"Yes. Why wouldn't I not?"

"You seem to be the kind of guy that knows about building a strong mind from how you figured me out when we first met. I'd say you were annoying on how fast you read me" I chuckled "but I digress. You seem to be intelligent about these things"

"The mind is a powerful thing. It takes years to build your mind-" he started going on and on about meditation and finding yourself with peace in mind. I snuck away without him knowing and found myself some food to eat.

"A food bar! Awesome!" It's strange how this is my first New Years party, since Nate and I were too busy before to celebrate the holidays.

I started putting everything on my plate and felt somebody standing next to me to do the same thing to her own plate. Noticing familiar features from the corner of my eyes, I slowly looked up to see Echo deciding on what to grab before seeing me watching her. My jaw dropped and I dropped my plate on the finger sandwiches.

"You alright?" She asked me, confused. I slowly backed away as casually as I could before my back felt on someone. They held my arms as I started shaking hard. Who is it this time?!

"Olive, did you scare someone in a party Nate invited us too?" Phoenix said "That's not nice"

"My names not olive, idiot" Echo glared and handed me my plate back "Here you go. I'm not scary, I promise" she smiled. I gulped and moved away from Phoenix, trying not to look scared, but failed miserably.

"Why is she scared? You definitely did something!" Phoenix defended me. I can't... I can't have them remember me before Nate does. They've seen too much... If they find out, they'll tell him why they remember and throw in details I'm trying to avoid for now.

"N-Nothing happened!" I told them. They stopped arguing to look at me "Pretend you didn't see anything. I better go-" I accidentally almost dropped my plate. A hand grabbed my wrist and kept me from dropping it. I snapped my head up at Fang staring at me wide eyed. He was the one that took me away from that room with the man I killed... He definitely seen too much.

"S-Shit!" I cupped my mouth, saying that a bit too loud. He touched me!!!!

"Princess?" I panicked and threw the plate in the air, which Phoenix caught and started eating from.

"Don't touch me!" I felt someone rushing towards us. Nate moved from the crowd and moved Fang away from me.

"Hey! Keep your hands to yourself, Yamato!" I froze as his whole friends were around us, including Knight who walked over with a drink in his hand "What are you doing to Camilla!?" Fang raised his hands in defense.

"What are you talking about? I didn't do anything!" I needed to think quickly, so I pulled Nate's arm to move him away and went up to Fang's face.

"Pretend you don't know me. This is urgent" I pulled confused Nate away from the group until we got away from a bit of the crowd.

"Camilla, are you okay?" Nate reached his hand to touch my hand. I pulled my hands out of reach in panic.

"Not right now! I'm not ready!" I blurted without thinking "Don't touch me!" I cupped my face.

"Camilla... Those were my friends. They're nice! Did something happen?" I shook my head.

"I'm sorry... Nothing happened over there. I just panicked" I looked at my shaking hands "I'm sorry... I'm not ready"

"Not ready for what?" I looked away "How have you been feeling?"

"I... I've been fine" I blushed, playing with my fingers "My sickness went away, so that's good... Sorry I've been pushing you away, but I didn't want to worry you"

"I was worried" he sighed "but I'm glad you're okay now" I ended up smiling, happy to see that he's not mad at me "you were by the food. Did they keep you from-"

"I just panicked" I waved my hands "I'm not that hungry-" my stomach started growling. He ended up laughing "D-Don't laugh!"

"Come on" He offered me his arm "I'll properly introduce you to my friends. They don't bite. I swear"

"They look dangerous" I admit, seeing how he'd react. He froze and turn blue.

"D-Did they say something to you..?" I giggled and shook my head "Thank Arceus... What a mess that would be" he rubbed his head.

"Mess? So they are? You'll protect me, right?" I teased. He huffed and looked away.

"Y-Yeah..." I smiled and hugged his arm, feeling the nostalgia sinking in. It felt so right to be with him again... I need to stop stalling like this. I have to tell him... I have to reveal the truth, but... How will he react in front of all these people?
