I've spent months on my journey throughout two seasons; Summer and Fall, but now that it's winter, I feel awful. I sneezed in bed in my new home in the ranch and am getting enough rest to feel better.

The cold was never my favorite, and because I often forget to dress heavy, I got sick this one time after the party my family threw after I became champion.

"Why is it so cold?" I whined, looking at Chandelure on my ceiling warming me up "I need more blankets..." I covered myself with the blanket, but ended up getting too hot "It's hot!"

"Ori!" Oricorio flew into the room while levitating a hot cup of my tea.

"Oh! Thank you" I smiled as it was placed on the dresser to cool down "That should hit the spot... I should really learn to buy thicker clothing. Seems like the winter is more brutal around water" I remember when I traveled Unova during the winter with Nate, it was never this cold... not including Kyurem.

Kyurem was actually caught by N when he was traveling with Hilda so she could prepare to become champion again. It seemed fit he thought it would be best if it wasn't alone for the rest of its life. I can only imagine feeling the same way it had felt in a long time.

Back in the party Rosa threw for me, she was telling me about her time as I was away. She was in the middle of shooting her movie, but had some time off for winter break. She also talked about Hugh and saying she's ready to confess, like she keeps on saying over and over

"I just wonder what Hugh will end up saying if she builds the guts to confess" I chuckled "If he finds out I became champion after I lost to him when we last met, he'll be angry for not getting progress faster than me" I sighed and wiped my sweat away "Whatever he'll say, I hope Rosa doesn't end up beating herself up too much that she ends up sick like me... She always end up sick when she's stressed out" I sighed "I'm just sick because it's cold... Why did I have to get sick?"

"I cannot prevent illness." Cresselia said "Your immune system is not as strong as when it was when you were active. It will take time for it to get back to normal with your body" I sighed.

"I'm grateful that you're still around even after the last few months... I really was looked after by the gods" I smiled "The sooner I become better, the sooner I can go be with everyone for the holidays. Rosa noticed how I was feeling and became worried about me during the party, so I hope I can get better fast" the doorbell rang "Who's that?" I wrapped my blanket around me and slowly walked over to the window to see who it was. I almost fell back when seeing Nate looking out in the ranch, staring at Froslass watching him from outside.

"It's Nate!" I loud whispered. I rushed over to fix my hair before realizing that I'm going to end up using my blanket to cover me. Oricorio opened the door without my permission "Oricorio!" I rushed over to close the door, but Nate was already holding it open and saw me stop right in front of him. I ended up screaming and tripped on my blanket.

"Whoa!" Nate held me up and set my feet back on the floor "Be careful" he chuckled. His chuckle caused me to overheat and go weak on my knees. I collapsed again, unable to take how handsome he is... His voice is enough to trigger me.

"Goman-nasai..." I felt dizzy.

"Rosa told me you were sick, so I thought I'd come and help out since she's busy" He explained himself while picking me up and walk me to my living room "Where have I seen this furniture before?"

"They were my dads..." I covered my head "Y-You didn't have to come, you know..? You barely know me"

"Yeah, but I know enough to know that you're a pretty cool person. I don't mind" I smiled as he set down a to-go bag on the coffee table "I've been busy with work, so I haven't had the time to do much. I tended your garden for you... I know it's random, but..."

"Thank you... that means more to me than you think" Oricorio came to me with my cup of tea "My dad gave me some seeds that's not native to this area. They do well with neglect, but I'm happy you've taken the time to take care of them. Would you like some?"

"Oh? It's a tea?" I nodded as he sat down while I took a sip from my tea and Oricorio prepared him one as well. We sat in silence for awhile. He was waiting for his cup to cool down before taking a sip. I watched him drink it surprised "It's good" I smiled and kept drinking "I felt like I tasted this before"

"They're a rare and hard to grow plant. If I didn't take the time to plant them down, you probably would had struggled more" I set my cup down "What would you like after taking care of my ranch for so long? Want me to pay you for your hard work?" He flinched and waved his hands.

"Nothing, really... It just felt right to do something instead of stay home" he looked down "When I heard you left for a journey, for some reason I thought... Why didn't she take me with her?" I cupped my mouth a bit "It felt wrong to let you leave on your own. It's none of my business and I don't know you like I know Rosa, but for some reason things are different with you"

"Don't tell me you're falling for me" I teased. He flinched and turned bright red.

"S-Shut up!" I giggled as he questioned himself why he's acting the way he is "W-What the fuck..? I'm sorry!"

"Don't worry about it. You can speak without boundaries. I don't get offended easily"

"I don't know... It just feels better when you're around. It's not what you think or anything" he blushed again "when we were walking in the rain and came to this ranch and just walked together before you left, the emptiness I always feel just left. When you ran off after you threw the Pokédex at me, I felt like it was my job to chase after you. Weird, right?" I've let him feel this way for a long time... It pains me to do this to him, but... I'm just not ready.

"If you ever feel that way again, you are always welcomed here" I smiled "I enjoy having you around. Not a moment goes by without thinking about you" I accidentally said and stood up to go to the kitchen to grab some plates.

"What did you say?" Nate asked, standing up.

"Did you bring food?" I asked, dodging the question.

"Y-Yeah..." I handed him a plate.

"I'll get the forks then!" I hummed a song while getting everything prepared and finally ate the delicious food he brought! I didn't have the energy to cook.

I felt Nate keeping his eyes on me while I happily ate and hummed at the same time, happy to have gotten food "Say... Do you have my number or something?" I almost choked. I almost forgot I was humming a song in front of him. I genuinely got so comfortable that the moment back in the Pokémon league didn't feel real.

"W-Why would you think that? Rosa never gave it to me" I didn't lie "Why?"

"Someone called me a few days ago. I don't know who it was, but..." he looked away, looking mesmerized by something "It brought me to tears" I frowned and got up to sit next to him. He looked at me as I reached out to hold his face, wanting to hold him again after so long... but an ache got through my stomach and I stormed to the restroom to vomit.

The pain in my body was unforgettable. I cried at the pain and held onto the toilet for dear life, wishing for something to make the pain stop. Cresselia can only hold my body up, but she can't help the damage my body has gone through. I thought I took the time to recover and make things better, but a year long coma doesn't heal after a year.

"Dammit..." I sobbed, moving my hair from my face. My hair was pulled back. I looked back and saw Nate helping me keep my hair away from my face "N-Nate..." I coughed.

"I got you" I nodded and waited for more vomit to come out, but I guess I was done "was it the food I brought?"

"No..." I sniffled "My immune system is bad..." I moved away from the bowl to clean my face and tried standing, but I ended up falling into Nate's arms.

"Come on, you should go back to bed" I nodded as he picked me up like a Princess and carried me to my bed. I laid on my headboard and sighed, feeling better now that I'm sitting comfortably.

"I'm going to go get a doctor to come and check on you" I pulled on his jacket so he wouldn't go anywhere "Camilla?"

"I hate when you call me that" I frowned "don't go anywhere, please" he sat beside me to reach for my forehead. I covered myself so he wouldn't touch me "no"

"What do you intend for me to call you then? Do you feel hot?"

"You should figure that out" I made eye contact with him "And I checked my temperature eariler. I have medicine and my tea, so I'm fine" I closed my eyes "Could you stay here if you're not busy..?" He pet my head under my blanket.

"Sure" I pulled him in. He ended up sitting beside me while I wrapped my body close to him. I sighed in relief and felt myself growing more relaxed since he's here. So much so that I ended up singing to myself before going to sleep.

"I'm trying to be honest with my happiness... Don't know why I'm bad at this, And I don't want to sit all in my sadness. I know it's a habit... of mine. Perfect, perfect... timing. I start but I don't know how to end
Don't re-, don't re-mind me... I ruined it before it began" I laid my head on his chest as he started shaking "Last night was the last night of my past life. Got me here like you could never figure me out.
Last night was the last time, was the last time... I'll never let you figure me out. Sitting here, talking to myself. Thinking how I used to use you.
Only thing I'm used to... Last night was the last night of my past life" I fell asleep in peace, feeling safe and secure at this moment.

I struggled in my sleep, feeling myself getting soaked in black liquid. I couldn't move my legs from the mess below me. The more I tried to struggle, the more my feet were starting to sink.

"What is this?! Let go!" I groaned, trying to find something I can use to help me escape. Something large and sinister was growing from the liquid. I gasped and fell back, getting more stuck in the darkness while the figure started to tower me with angry eyes.

"You broke our promise... Camilla" the dark voice told me "Your body is suppose to be mine!" I screamed and jumped out of bed, landing on the floor.

"Oh Arceus!" I shouted in fright. When I realized I was in my room, I took a deep breath and sighed "A nightmare..?" I looked around my torso for my dream catcher "Where is it..? Where is it?" Oricorio came flying and levitated the dream catcher from the dresser "Why is it there?" I took the catcher with a note attached.

"I had to leave for a bit, I'm sorry. I'll be back when I can -Nate" I hugged the note "It would had been nice to have woken up next to him..." I sighed and stood up, feeling better than I did before and started to put on some outdoor clothes "I know I should be in bed, but I need to take a walk" I got out my Xtransceiver while going to the bathroom to brush my teeth and get that nasty taste out my mouth "Oricorio. Did you make sure Nate didn't make skin contact with me?" Oricorio came flying and nodded on her head "That's good..." I sighed "I know I'm being cruel, but I'm not ready" I blushed at my reflection "It hurts me so much that I'm delaying this, but I'm waiting for an occasion. I can't just make this happen randomly" I attached the dream catcher onto me after I finished and got dressed in something warm before heading out with Froslass leading.

"It's snowing everywhere..." I caught a snowflake over my gloves "A good sleep was just what I needed, but did he really have to go?" I blushed "We actually cuddled... He doesn't even know me like that, yet something inside him did that" I cupped my cheeks "It might get dangerous though... He might mistake those feelings for something else" thinking about that made my nose bleed. I nervously laughed and got it clean "I should calm down... To think I developed this personality. And here I just thought it was Darkrai doing that" I slowed down my pace "was that nightmare caused by it..?" I held my dream catcher "Will I have to hold this forever..? When will it end?"

"Be careful, Camilla..." Caitlin's voice spoke in my memories. I wonder why she told me to be careful...

My Xtransceiver went off. I answered it without looking at the caller I.D and saw Rosa on the screen "Rosa-chan!" I smiled.

"Camie! You look better! How are you feeling? Why are you outside?" I told her I was going to Flocessy Town to get more medicine "Did Nate go over? I told him you were sick"

"Yeah, he came. He left before I woke up for something" I huffed.

"I hope he's not going to work. He's suppose to be on vacation. That guy doesn't know how to stand still"

"Probably an emergency or something" she thought about it "It's getting difficult to hold it in. We ended up cuddling, but I was wrapped around a blanket so he wouldn't touch me"

"Oh Arceus!" Rosa blushed "You guys cuddled?!" She screamed in excitement, making me laugh "but I don't understand... He doesn't remember you, yet you did something like that? Scandalous" she joked.

"I-It's not like that!" I panicked "He does remember! He just still forgot!"

"Don't you think that's dangerous? He has these feelings yet he doesn't know what they are. It might end up turning into something else if you're moving fast like that" so she's thinking the same thing I did "Unless you want that sort of thing to happen" my nose bled again "Camie!"

"Sorry! Sorry!" I wiped my nose and went off to get my medicine "I'll tell him soon... It's fine. I'll avoid him a little more to keep these things controlled. What's the news on Hugh? Said anything yet?" She looked sad "What's wrong?"

"Well... It hasn't really been a good time. His sister is sick and hasn't woken up. Nate has been over when I haven't. Maybe he's there"

"Oh! I see..." hasn't woken up..? If she had dreams that involved the moon... "I need to check it out"

"Oh! Yeah! You should! I believe you'll be able to know what's wrong. Go in my place" I nodded and hung up after.

"Hasn't woken up..." I held my dream catcher "Please don't let it be what I think it is" I ran as fast as I could, ignoring my aching body from the cold and sickness, and found my way to Hugh's apartment building in Aspertia City. I took a deep breath before entering the building and looking for Hugh's residence.

I have never been here before, but Rosa has multiple times. I start to wonder if Hugh is really that clueless about her feelings or just really friendly. I can't tell.

I eventually found his front door and knocked, waiting for someone to answer while I tried controlling my breathing. If Nate is here and I accidentally touch Hugh, Hugh might say something that might make Nate uncomfortable around me...

The front door opened and let out his mom with worry lines on her face "Oh! Rosa! You're back so soon?" She asked "You still have your wig on from work?" I looked at my very long hair "Come in, please" I bowed and let myself in while taking off my shoes to be polite "Hugh and Nate are in Jennie's room. Go ahead" I ended up saying thank you in japanese from the nerves I feel in my body and looked around at which door they could be in.

"Um... Which room was it again?" I was embarrassed to ask. I could always say I'm not Rosa, but that'll just cause too much confusion. She pointed at a door to our left confused "Oh... Thanks" I blushed and walked pass her, accidentally brushing my hand on hers as I walked by.

"Camilla?" I stopped and turned to her "Oh, sorry. I thought you were Rosa" I only met this woman once... I didn't think she'd remember "Jennie's room is over there. Go ahead"

"Thank you..." I went to knock on the door and open it, seeing Hugh and Nate sitting on some chairs with Jennie sweating on the bed, asleep. How... How am I going to approach this?
